There is a nearby AutoZone but they don't do tires nor do any of the gas stations or car rental places (according to what others told me). I called ahead but did not make or have an appointment. They said they would work me in between appointments. Due to a cancelation, they were able to start on my car within less than 15 minutes of my arrival. They also made me a fresh pot of coffee (since the pot sitting in the waiting area was out was empty) and replaced my tire's missing valve stem cover. Total cost for a flat repair was $10.40 ($10 plus tax) and less than an hour total time there. Worth the stop. This was my first time using a Walmart for any kind of car care - and overall, I am satisfied with the service and glad It was available. The closest Discount Tire (offering free flat repair) is in Gillette - way too far away to risk driving to. I'm not sure what the local tire places charge, but since they are all closed on Sundays, it doesn't matter. This is a fairly low cost and relatively quick pace to come to get an apparently common tire problem in the area fixed.
