When you walk into the studio you are met with the owner, Ashley who has such amazing, radiant vibe. I asked her to read my Taro Cards before getting a massage and it was not only so surreal and enlightening- but completely set the mood for a relaxing massage. She not only made my body feel rejuvenated but my soul. Ashley is the only one I will ever get a massage from again. She took me physically and spiritually and made me whole again. read more

So happy to have found Ashley during my 2 months stay in Healdsburg and enjoyed 2 massage sessions. Her attentive inquiry of my expectations and massage needs on the front end created an excellent rapport and massage. Her studio is close to the town square, easy to get to and offered the perfect environment for a relaxing and peaceful massage. read more

I recently moved to Healdsburg and was looking for a massage therapist to help relieve muscle tension that was aggravating some old sports injuries. Ashley's massage 90 minute was exactly what I was looking for! The massage was also very enjoyable and relaxing, so whether you are looking for a massage for the healing properties and relaxation, you will get both here. read more

Ashley is amazing. Visited regularly when I lived in Sonoma County and I haven't found her equal here yet! Wonderful therapist. Great location in downtown Healdsburg (parking can be tricky). read more

I'm always a little suspicious when a business on Yelp has all 5-star reviews, however the prices for services seemed reasonable so I booked two 90-minute appointments for my wife and I on our recent getaway visit to Healdsburg. The location is in the center of town so even though we were having separate massages, there was plenty to do and see for the person not getting the massage at the time. Ashley is amazing and my wife and I (who get massages often but never often enough) both felt it was one of the better all around massage experiences we've had. Ashley is a true professional and not only gave an amazing massage but also provided a very memorable experience. I can not recommend her enough and we are both looking forward to our next visit to Healdsburg and another encounter with A Wise Massage. Thank you Ashley, we both loved our stay in Healdsburg but you provided the icing on the cake. BTW, your restaurant and winery suggestions were right on the mark and added to our over all Healdsburg experience. If we lived in Healdsburg, we'd be in once a week.....at least read more

Ashley is "Wise" beyond her years. Her massage technique is a great pain reliever. She used a continuous motion to stretch muscles without pain. Something I can't do on my own. She also does cranial sacral moves that were very helpful. She's very gifted. You won't be disappointed. Anne G. read more

Best couples massage I've ever had. My girlfriend and I went for a couples massage with Ashley and Fraser. It was outrageously good. I think they do all their couples massages together now, which is definitely a good thing! The atmosphere was great and we both got incredible massages. We go for massages frequently and this was hands down the best I've ever had. It's also very fairly priced, less than many of the spas in town and my friends weren't too impressed with their expensive spa experiences. Couldn't recommend them more highly! Keep up the good work guys! read more

I finally got another visit with Ashley! Every time I go back I feel like I'm visiting a lifelong friend. I adore her space and style, and am always impressed with how closely she listens to my needs. This time we did the full body scrub. This was amazingly rejuvenating. I walked out feeling like the last six months of stress were just washed away. She's so engaging, I love talking to her and listening to her. My husband has been having shoulder issues lately, so when he asked who to call, I immediately said, Ashley! He came out of that massage so happy. She astutely listened to his needs and delivered a very focused massage that exceeded his expectations. He's been hard to nail down with a favorite therapist over the years, but he admitted his search is now over. My favorite gifts to give are gift certificates to A. Wise Massage because there's no better gift than an opportunity to let go of the hustle and bustle of everyday life for a small fraction of time with Ashley's magnificent skillz! read more

Initially I was quite concerned as due to the lack of parking and the location. However once I came in I was completely Maniatis. The prior views are correct this is the most intuitive masseuse I have ever been with. Currently I've only seen her twice but each time I left feeling rejuvenated and relax I can't say enough good things about this woman. I currently work on the computer and I'm on the computer with seems like all day and have developed some pretty serious neck and shoulder pain she is able in a single session to restore a great amount of shoulder mobility. She reassures that you can always tell her when something is too strong or too soft however I have any this she's so intuitive she just knows kind of scary but kind of awesome at the same time read more

AMAZING...is.it.over.yet....no way?? This gal is all the stars crack up to be. From the online booking and confirmation to the paypal payment (yay for technology), scheduling is easy-peasy. I had a massage with the salt scrub. Best. Best. Best. Ever. Her amazing attention to what you need 'today' led to an hour of delight. I went in feeling a bit grumpy and tired and left feeling a whole new person. The oils and scents she uses are just right..not too much or overbearing. If only I didn't live a coast away..... le sigh.... next time. read more

Wow. My aunt and I went here for some much-needed R&R. We've both had our fair share of massages, and this is without a doubt one of the best. Ashley is intuitive and really listens to both what we said and how our bodies responded to her touch. I've never felt that relaxed post-massage. Seriously, I could barely stand. If you are in Healdsburg or even Sonoma, go see her! (And don't make big night-out-on-the-town plans after.) read more

I Googled "best massage in Healdsburg" to find Ashley, and I must agree with all of the reviews that SHE IS WONDERFUL. Do yourself a favor and schedule a massage! My husband and I enjoyed 1-hour massages, and I told her that I could not choose among the fabulous complementary add-ons; however, I had the back scrub, and my husband did the Chakra balancing. The scrub was so amazing -- a great addition to a back massage, and something that I have never had before. My husband really liked the balancing, and we both agree that Ashley gave us the best massage we have ever had, and we enjoy massages regularly here at home in Atlanta and always while on vacation. While I had my massage, my husband walked a block down and waited for me while enjoying a wine tasting room. One could also shop while waiting for a partner to finish. I wish Ashley were local to me because I would have already made an appointment for regular massages. read more

Ashley is an absolute genius with her hands! This was the best massage I have had to date! The studio is in a prime location, right in downtown Healdsburg square. There was not one area on my body that went untouched or felt unloved. I was more than putty after the head massage at the end of my one hour full body. This is a true escape that is a must when in wine country or just a "thank you" to yourself after a long week! read more

Just booked a massage with Ashley not too long ago and already looking forward to my next! She's kind, light-hearted, and extremely knowledgeable. I feel very nurtured under her care and her work has helped realign my priorities for mind/body health. read more

When it comes to massages, I am super picky. I don't want to feel like I am a piece of meat getting tenderized by hefty hands. I want to feel like my muscles are unknotting, that my body is relaxing, that my spine is aligning and I am letting go of all the tension and anxiety that I have stored in my shoulders and neck. Ashley Wise did all of this and more. She seemed so tuned in to what I needed. Her space was comfortable and inviting, her aromatherapy was relaxing and not overpowering, she was super respectful of my comfort level. ( I usually feel a little self-conscious, but I didn't feel that way at all with her.) Ashley worked on many layers, from skin to muscle to energy. I have had many massages over the years and Ashley ranks at the top. It was obvious that she valued my time there and that she sincerely cared for my comfort, health and well-being. OH! And she crafts her own products with high-end essential oils that target specific properties like Revival, Clarity and Calm. Super impressed! read more

My wife and I were up for a getaway weekend and signed up for massages with Ashley. I have chronic shoulder tightness and she did wonders to relieve the discomfort with some really effective deep tissue technique. My wife was interested in a massage for relaxation and walked out feeling fantastic. Will return on our next trip to Healdsburg and highly recommend. read more

Thank you Ashley for being so accommodating. You are the stress relief guru :) The massage at our bed and breakfast as well as in your office was just what we needed to relax and destress. You are very gifted. read more

Ashley is an excellent body worker! My first experience was incredibly relaxing. Ashley's touch is careful, thoughtful, and on point! I have been suffering from TMJ (tense jaw muscle condition) for almost 2 years. I've seen chiropractors and cranial sacral specialists several times a month for the past year trying to get help with this condition. Though these people were helpful, the condition persists. In my most recent massage with Ashley, I requested she focus on this area. I felt major relief as soon as she began. The overall massage, again, was incredibly relaxing and this time, deeply healing for those jaw muscles in a way I hadn't experienced yet. I can't wait to go back and have her work on this again! read more

Outstanding massage! Ashley perfectly customized the session for exactly what I asked for. Great pressure, lovely quiet studio, definitely a deal in Healdsburg. I've already gone back for another! read more

I've been to a lot of masseuses over the years. In fact, I was one for a quick minute. Needless to say, I have a love for the art of massage and a great massage therapist. With all of that being said, Ashley is, hands-down, the best masseuse I have ever had the privilege of working with. She has the incredible ability to work on both the physical level to alleviate tight and sore muscles, and also on the energetic level, helping to balance and stabilize whatever may be off in your energy-body. I have never found a masseuse who can transverse both realms as well as she. Her trained precision and obvious natural talents allowed me to trust and relax into the space so completely, which facilitated major healing on my part. Also, she gives great local deals, which will have me coming back more often. Thank you, Ashley... more than words can say. read more

For almost 3 years I have searched for a great, local therapist. I have visited many in the area in that time. My search is over...Ashley is probably the best I have come across in my 20+ years of having massages on a monthly basis since an accident years ago. She is so intuitive, a rare find. She knows exactly what is hurting without my saying a word. She is professional, caring and calming. I can't recommend her enough... read more

My sister and I loved our massages with Ashley and Fraser of A Wise Massage. What a treat! We each had varying body issues that were cared for with specific attention and technique. Ninety minutes was a fabulous amount of time. We left feeling completely pampered. read more

I had my first session with Ashley and cannot give her enough praise! Her technique is the best of all the other message therapists' rolled into one. Ashley is amazing!!! Husband and I went to her on our honeymoon and were both very pleased!

Wonderful hidden gem!! I'm not one to get a massage vert often, but I was having a crazy week and needed to relax and decompress. And I was able to do just that! Ashley was very attentive to my trouble areas and made sure I was comfortable and the pressure was great! She can really get in there when needed!! Thank you Ashely, I will be back!! Ashley absolutely stands out as a naturally intuitive healer. With a calm and caring approach, she seeks out areas that need the most work and uses just the right pressure to dissolve tension. I just had a massage by Ashley this week and cannot believe how much better I feel; a testament to her skillful practice. All my upper back and neck pain is gone and my mobility is so much better! I highly recommend her expert approach to massage therapy!! It sweetens the deal that her studio is in the heart of Healdsburg, where your massage can be the perfect punctuation after a day at the farmers market, boutique shopping, or a wine country bike ride. Look no further and book your appointment! Have you ever tried a 90 min? read more
