I had a lot of high hopes for Twin Oaks Landscaping. I hired them to install permanent Christmas…read morelights at our home in NC. The original price was fair and they were able to start right away. I asked the owner if the tape on the lights would be enough to hold the lights up permanently or if we needed to use the included screw plates. He stated the tape would be enough. I trusted him and his installer started installing the lights. Right away, I started seeing mistakes. I told them to run extensions in the back of the house so the light strands would make it to the front. Instead they started the light strands at the back and of course did not make it to the front. They had to redo things many times. After the installation, he told me to throw away the screw plates. Thankfully, I did not. About 1 to 2 weeks after the installation, many of the lights started to fall down. Most of the places where repairs needed to be done was where the installer did not have a clear view of the area that needed the lights. I asked the owner if he could repair this, his response was a quote that was more than the original quote to make the repair. When I asked him if he could help us out, he said find another company, and hung up on me.

After waiting a couple days for the wet areas around the valves to dry, we realized that they were leaking as bad if not worse than before they repaired them. We had no problem with this realizing it is a difficult project. The problem came when we called and left a message asking them to come out and check it out. A very cordial message was left every 2 days for a 10 day period and no response. We still gave them the benefit of being on vacation or extremely busy. We waited a week and called them 2 more times both times leaving a message. Still no response. At that point we realized that we paid them for nothing and hired a competent repair company to come out and fix the system. We paid 2 companies full price to have one repair completed. Long story short, I would certainly never use autumn rain or recommend them to anyone.
