On Dec. 28th, my wife and I were on a Greyhound bus going from Denver Co. to Las Vegas, NV. When all of a sudden the bus overturned to cause injury to a lot of passengers including my wife. It was a very cold night, and we were in the middle of nowhere. Due to the weather, it took some time for help to reach us. Once help arrived things seem to move smoothly. My wife was transported to a hospital. At the time we had no idea where this was. Later I found out we were about 80 miles from the nearest hospital. I told my wife to just go and get checked out due to some injuries. I was taken to a church where we were given a warm place to stay and food. I found out later that my wife was taken to a hospital in Richfield, Utah. I wanted to get to her as quickly as possible. Thank goodness for cell phones. Later in the day, I was able to get a ride to Richfield. I arrived at the hospital just about the same time my wife was getting released. This was perfect timing since her phone was now dead and I had our chargers with me. We were confused about what to do next. Just as my wife was gathering her things, a social worker came in and told us they had a ride for us and a hotel room to stay in. This is when we met Ward. He was there to give us and others a ride from the hospital to the hotel. He was friendly and very concerned with my wife and the other passengers in the van. He offered to take us to get food and told us about the local grocery store and where Wal mart was. We all needed this and that, and Ward took us to every place everyone needed to go. He didn't charge us for the extra stop and waiting. He was so compassionate that it made this bad event a little easier. After getting back to our motel he gave us all his cards and told us that if we needed anything to just call. If he wasn't nearby it would be there in about 20 min. We did call him to run me back to the store to get some things for my wife. He was just as caring then as the first time we met him at the hospital. I wish there were more people in this world that was kind, caring as Ward. I think he does a great job as a taxi driver. After we left Richfield and made it to Las Vegas, NV. Ward called about 4 days later to see how my wife was doing. That meant so much to my wife and me, knowing that we were more than just another fare to him. Ward really cares about his customers. I am not sure if he has family, but if he does they are truly blessed to have a wonderful man in their life. Hello, I just wanted to let everyone know of the wonderful experience I received from Trip Taxi. The driver Ward, was very nice man. I was on a cross country trip, and my truck broke down. I had to stay a few night in Richfield, Utah. While staying in the hotel, I was looking for options to get to Las Vegas, NV. Greyhound was not option, and the other taxi would never answer. As I was visiting with the girl in office of the hotel she recommended calling Trip Taxi, and gave me the business card. Ward, answered right away and where it was getting late, we made a plan to leave the next day. Not only was Ward, there on time, but he was so kind in asking if I would or needed to stop anywhere before we started out on the drive. He was also nice to ask if stop was needed as we approached nearing town/cities. We got to the airport, where he assisted me with my belongings. The next day Ward, called me to see if the rest of my trip was successful, which I thought was very kind to follow up. After a few weeks the auto shop in Richfield, Utah called me and told my pick up was ready. I made plans to fly back. I called Ward, he remember me and asked how my few weeks have been. Once again we made a plan and he was at the airport waiting for me. Not only did I receive superior service, but I also gain a new friend.
