Newsome Tree service was over at my next door neighbor house. The sales guy Bart came to my door…read moreand I got some quotes from him. He quotes 750 to get rid of a small dead tree and 4 stumps. I agreed to the price and the cut the tree down and throw all the logs in brushes on my property and then threw the branchs across the street. I gave Bart 150 and said he would come back the next day to get the stumps. Next day he didnt come. The next day he said he would be there at 4 and he texted me and on my way he said he was 30 mins away. 45 mins later I told him not to come tonight because it would be to late and we have small kids going to bed. He said he would take 50 off. He said he would be here tomorrow at 9 am and showed up at 10 and said his car broke down. He said the guys are about 30 mins away. He asked to use a shovel to get started and then kept asking for tools. He was out there maybe 3 hours and started on 3 stumps but none of them are completely done. He asked for 200 and I gave it to him. A week goes by and he said a family member past away. I told him that I didnt need the work done any more because I did it myself. He then tried to get another 100 dollars from me. In fairness I pretty sure he was taking work from this business and doing the work himself but needless to say he was representing this company the whole time and by wear a company shirt and I know he works from them. Just use caution when working with them as my neighbor had problems as well and had to call the cops due to property damage.

It WILL NOT burn in a stove when it's that wet. For it to be this wet means they made absolutely zero effort to season it, yet they're selling it as seasoned. It's a dishonest ripoff, I'll never do business with them again.
