Prior to moving from AZ to NY, the previous stylist had burned my hair because she just didn't know how to get past my rather stubborn dark brown, gray hair. Fast forward to the magnificent owner of Salon B (Belinda), who for all practical purposes is a wizard with ALL things hair (from color to cut to styling) and my hair and scalp have been healthy and perfect. Belinda uses only tried and true products that she knows to be safe and effective. You know how some hair salons change their products for purposes of selling and making more profit? I don't believe she does that. Belinda's prices are fair for her services and products so really you just can't go wrong. Not only that but Belinda also became a deeply valued friend over time. She's the real deal folks. Kind, warm, smart and savvy, and I must mention beautiful, too. The hairstylist who did my hair was Debby thanks to my step mother's recommendation and I was nervous at first, my hairstylist at home is the only one I trust with my hair and she surprised me with some layers and I asked for bangs to frame my face. It came out great and I will definitely come back here when I'm in the area again and request her specifically to do my hair! My dad got a trim up and layers as well and he said in all his years it was the best haircut he had ever gotten and not bad for $20 including a hair wash! My only complaint would be that it was a bit pricey for mine for $40, but maybe that's because she scrubbed pretty hard so it was a deep cleaning hair wash and blow dry. I would definitely recommend coming in and checking out this hip little hair salon!
