Jax! Is amazing, I've stumbled in and out of the local cuts in the area! I have shoulder length hair, fine, goes limp, Jax did an amazing wolf cut totally lifted my hair gave me back the definition I needed, she recommended beach spray a great product, if she ever leaves I'll make sure I follow! read more

Ginger and Lori really know their stuff. I have difficult hair that likes to flip out on the ends if it isn't cut just right. They have been cutting my hair for years and I can't imagine going anywhere else. read more

This place is the absolute worse. My wife took our son to get a hair cut and the barber is going to hit on her in front of our child. Talk about a lack of professionalism. We will never go back. Plus their haircuts are trash. Go some where else. read more

Ok it's a SUPERCUTS, not Fancy Hair Salon.com, so don't expect Million Dollar Fabulosity, because Supercuts has never been about THAT. That said, however, it's fabulous for cheapie blowouts!! Ask for Valencia, who did a great job on mine at a price that can't be beat. read more

I booked an appointment online, drove from Baxley (1.5hrs) because we don't have salons open on Saturday's to get my 2 year old's hair cut. We waited an hour and it was finally our turn. I put my son on the chair with a lollipop and she started using the clippers to cut his hair. Note: my 2 year old is in the 90th percentile for height and looks like a 4 year old. He started flinching when she tried to trim his hair. So I Sat in the chair with him in my lap hoping it would help. In the past, he's always done really well getting his haircut. She was making rude comments about him as I was trying to get him to be real still. I told her he was only 2. She tried twice with the clippers and then I asked if she could just try the scissors because the clippers seem loud to him. And she said "they aren't loud" really loud in front everyone. I was so embarrassed. So she got the scissors out and he did flinch again. So she threw her hands up and said "I'm done, I'm not fighting with him" very rudely. It was uncalled for. I was so embarrassed by how she spoke to me. I just told her that I was sorry, he's only 2, and I didn't expect this to happen because he's never had a problem before getting a haircut. With the long wait with an appointment , the long drive, and how we were treated, I'll likely never return. And if someone asks me, this place will be the 1st place I recommend not using. read more

Ladys were nice but left my hair looking super choppy i asked for layers and it didnt blend into my hair like it was suppose to, left the top layer uneven from my front pieces too. went home just to have a mental breakdown because it was so bad. Never going there again. read more

I went in to get a haircut earlier today, I knew my usual stylist wasn't available but I needed to get this taken care of today, got all checked in, one person in front of me was already getting his haircut. He was done and left. The stylist cleaned up her area, then got busy getting something to drink. Proceeds to clean her area more, tells me she'll be with me in a minute, I say ok. Phone rings she takes a phone call and continues to have a conversation with the caller and ignores me, no interest in getting me back to her station. I get up and walk out. The stylist wasn't the only person there, the manager was there also. I've been a regular customer for months, not anymore. I drove to a different hair salon got right in and got a great cut. When you treat customers as if their money doesn't matter to you, you will lose business, and you lost mine today. read more

Checked in for shampoo, cut and style. Sat in the chair and tried to explain to the stylist what I wanted which was about 2 inches off and layered, but she was busy cleaning her station to actually listen. She spritzed my hair with water then trimed around the bottom and some on the sides. When she acted as if we were done I asked her "did we get everything?" Her response was "I got everything, ain't no we about it. I did what I was supposed to do". I was so taken back at that point, I thanked her and walked over to pay. She then realized that I wanted a shampoo and asked if I wanted to go to the back. I said no, paid and left. I wasn't expecting a runway quality haircut, but I did expect to get a shampoo, cut and style. Instead I walked out with a stinky wet head with the ends trimmed from someone who thought they did their job. read more

The only reason I am even giving 2 stars is because of Joey. He was amazing! And saved the day basically. From the time we came in there to the time we left he was the one who made my family feel welcomed and did exactly what we asked for our hair. The other lady, I want to say bonnie... was her name. She was rude and didn't listen to our requests. She wanted to first argue with me over whether i called in or not and i kept telling her i did but she was not listening and told me it would be a bit for 4 walkins. Luckily the other girl over heard and said yes I already have their call in. We asked where the bathroom was and she basically yelled at me saying there was only enough room in the bathroom for one, all I was trying to do was take my kids to the bathroom. They're 7 i wasn't gonna let them walk alone. Then when I come out of the bathroom my mother in law was already in her chair and trying to explain what she wanted, the stylist was like well I can shave it all off. She was being rude and not even listening to my mother in law. Then she cut her hair really fast and didn't even even it out. Its crooked now. And nothing of what she wanted. While that was going on Joey was doing one of my daughters hair perfectly. He asked my concerns and reaction every step of the way. Then it was time for my other daughters hair. She was scared and the lady was so rude about it. I had already calmed my daughter down and the lady was getting irritated and telling me what to do. Basically told me I was gonna have to stand there to keep her from moving or she wasn't doing her hair. And I was already standing there. I told her I wanted my daughters hair to accent her curls and be below her shoulders. She cut it above her shoulders and when I questioned it before she started cutting she said its going to be shorter because it'll curl up. And she went on her way cutting it how she wanted. She cut it too short and it's uneven and she cut her curls out. Already seeing that I was upset Joey saved the day by apologizing for the behaviors of his co worker and taking his time to do my hair. If I ever go back to this place it will only be because of Joey. If you're going to be hair stylist you're supposed to listen to the concerns of your clients and not do what you want all willy nilly. read more

Got my haircut today with my mom. Everyone was really friendly and the prices were low. I can't remember her name but a girl with purple in her hair cut mine. She was super nice and did a great job. Definitely will recommend this place. read more

Today I went to Super Cuts. I spend about ten minutes telling the young lady how I wanted my hair cut. I opened my phone to Pinterest and showed her many pictures of how I wanted it. She assured me she understood exactly what I wanted. What I got was nothing like we discussed, nothing at all like any of the pictures. My hair had been basically already cut in the style I wanted and really just needed to be reshaped. However that is NOT what I got. When I saw my hair I was shocked !!!! The cut is super short, not even in the shape of any of the pictures we reviewed. She knew I was upset and told me the hair cut was free because I wasn't happy with it. The hair cut is horrible and giving it to me for free doesn't help what it looks like! Now I have to walk around with probably the worst hair cut I've ever had. Don't go there unless you want to look like a freak for three months. read more

When in Brunswick and in need of a quick dye job call this Super Cuts and ask for Alexandra. She was so sweet and so knowledgable and match my color perfectly. The only down side is the fact that you can't make an appointment and you might have to wait a few minutes longer than at a typical salon. But it really was worth that small inconvenience. I will go back again the next time I'm in Brunswick. read more

Disappointed. I know its a Supercuts and not a fancy salon but I expect, at the very least, consistency with the stylists and in their customer service. On my first visit the staff was very friendly and Stetson did an amazing job on my hair. He fixed a bad haircut from a "higher end" salon and I was very pleased with his work. My Husband and I returned weeks later: me for a heavy trim and him a haircut, but found a completely different atmosphere. Stetson had just left for the day and it was approximately 1 hour away until closing. The lady who met me at the counter was highly irritated at the number of customers coming in the door and the fact that it was just her and another stylist in the shop. She in no way made any effort to cover her obvious irritation. I had intended to allow a little more length to be trimmed. However, when the lady took me back and began consulting me about what I wanted ( the same one with the attitude) she commented that my hair "is longer in the front than in the back" with a confused look. I had to explain to the stylist that it was an long inverted bob or a A-line cut. Her response was ' oh, well usually there shorter". I became very nervous and quickly stated that I just wanted a light trim. I know something about the chain salons and I understand that its not always going to be perfect. So, a couple weeks later I took my Son to get a haircut. The same lady met me at the counter with the same sour attitude as weeks before. Luckily, another stylist was next in line for the next cut and my son got her. I showed her a picture of a cut called a high and tight just like they wear in the military so it should have been a very easy cut. However, by the time she had finished my child sat there with a basic buzz cut. I quietly paid trying to be understanding since my son liked it. After I got him home I began to see lines in his hair where it was not blended and gaps in other places. So, two days later I am back at Supercuts. Thankfully, Stetson was there and I allowed him to actually cut my hair and explained my experiences with the other visits to the salon and the issue with my sons hair. The cut I received was ok but the quality of the cut wasn't the same as the last time. He fixed my sons cut and I must say did a really nice job on him. Also, the couple cuts my Husband received weren't very blended either. I will pay good money for a quality haircut so, I had thought I had stumbled upon the perfect scenario with Supercuts; quality at a decent price. If Stetson was a different salon I would probably give him another chance but seeing as he is not, my family and I will not be returning. In my experience, the consistency isn't there and the sour attitude meeting me at the counter is not conducive for good customer relations. After my first visit I had great expectations but after several chances I ended up feeling very disappointed. read more

First, when I entered the salon, I was told to have a seat and they would be right with me. They proceeded to sign in others who walked in after me, ahead of me as I waited to be served. Then, when I was finally able to get service, I asked for a military hair cut, consisting of skin on the sides faded to a two on top. The stylist agreed and began to cut my hair. After a while she said she was done. The haircut lasted many minutes longer than any haircut I have received in the past. I noticed I still had a considerable amount of hair on the sides. I requested the hair on the sides be trimmed down further and she said that was all she could do. I asked if she could use a different pair of clippers that did not require an attachment or the electric razor she had sitting on the counter and she refused. I asked why she would begin my haircut knowing she could not provide the style I requested and she was unable to answer. I paid for my haircut, then went to a barbershop nearby where they were glad to finish the haircut. read more
