I hired this company to trim a large viburnum hedge on my property in Venice. They did a terrible…read morejob. Half way through the job, the manager, James Hentman, told me he had to go for a while and do some estimates of other jobs. He asked me to pay him for the job. Like an idiot, I not only paid him in full, but paid him cash -- $750. I thought he would come back at the end of the job to make sure I was happy. Little did I know then that I would not see him again or hear from him again. As soon as the manager left the job site, the two guys who were doing the trimming started bad mouthing him, complaining about how hard they had to work. Bad attitudes. On top of that, they did a terrible job. They cut the hedge top very unevenly -- it looks like a roller coaster. I told them to let me know when they were leaving as I wanted to inspect it with them. They left without telling me. And they left a whole bunch of cut debris in the hedgerow and on the ground. Terrible clean up. The manager also drove his bucket truck on my front lawn to trim my palm trees. He ran over and broke a sprinkler head. Cost me $61 to get it fixed. I texted him to ask for reimbursement. No answer yet. In fact, I have sent him 10 separate texts asking that he come back and discuss this terrible job. He has not responded in five days now nor did he ever come back. He took the cash and ran. He couldn't care less about doing a good job or about customer satisfaction. Poor Quality! Poor Clean Up! Poor Attitude! Took the money and disappeared! They use "Experts" in their company name. Hah!! The only thing they are expert at is ripping people off. I am going to have to pay another company $250 to finish the job. USE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

C&P is the absolute worst…read more Colton was very cagey about not providing a written estimate to take down a tree and grind the stump. I soon learned why - so he could jack up the price once he arrived on site. I foolishly accepted. Such an amateur. He and his assistant managed to break my water main and flood my yard. No water in the house for my family all day. Then he dragged the entire downed tree through the mud rather than cutting it up. Broke my rock bed curbing and two water sprinklers and left a huge rut through the yard. He promised to return the same day for the stump grinding and to clean up. That was a lie. He grabbed the check and ran. Left the entire mess for me to fix. Avoid C&P at all costs.
