Jeremy Belyeu managed the project from start to finish and kept me well informed throughout the process. Jeremy inspected the roof, met with the insurance adjuster, and was on site most of the time while the roof was being replaced to support the crew and answer my questions. The roofing crew completed the job of tearing off the old roof and finishing the new roof in one day, and did a very professional job...my roof looks great! I was very impressed by the way the crew covered my landscape and yard, and how thoroughly they cleaned up after the project...a crew member even came by the morning after and carefully inspected my yard again to make sure all nails and scraps were removed. This is the only roofing contractor I've seen who provided a porta-john for their crew...my neighbors and I were impressed! I thank Jeremy Belyeu and Billy Harris Roofing for doing such a professional job. I highly recommend Billy Harris Roofing.

Through a fortunate referral, I connected with Tony from Innova Home, which turned out to be an…read moreexceptional stroke of luck. I was facing significant plumbing problems and had already received quotations from two other plumbing services. When I met Tony, I found him to be approachable and easy to communicate with, which was a refreshing change from my previous experiences. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that his quotation for the necessary work was substantially lower than both of the estimates I had received earlier. This combination of clear communication and a much more competitive price instilled confidence in his services, leading me to choose Innova Home to resolve my plumbing issues. Tony also helped me navigate the process with the insurance company, as I ended up needing to replace my floors. I decided to replace my cabinets as well since they had reached the end of their lifespan, and once again, Tony provided an excellent quote. As the job progressed, we had numerous conversations, and I asked if he could paint my cabinets in the living room or add wall paneling. He never hesitated to say yes, and we did a few change orders along the way. The crew was fantastic to work with and always left the job site clean. When the process was completed, I was stunned by the results--it looked like a new home, and I finally felt like it was truly mine. Now I'm looking forward to the bathroom remodel, and yes, I will be using Innova Home again!

While the shower is usable, the quality of work in the shower is sub par aesthetically and very mediocre. The repairs now seem expensive ($3600) in hindsight for the quality of work completed. The owner of Innova homes Tony is a terrible communicator with no follow through and he took my mother's money before completing a final step she requested on the shower door. Tony reported that he would order the part in question and follow up with her ASAP to install it. This was the end of Feb/early March and here we are now coming into August and he has only made empty promises that have yet to be delivered on. We should've known better when we learned that the person who recommended him was not a licensed architect or design business as reported. Tough lessons learned! Buyer beware on using either or both of these businesses!

Their work was very high quality and the prep and protection of the adjacent areas was very well done. We recently had JCH back to paint the interior of a large double door entry with extensive natural wood molding/panels and etched glass. They also re-painted a kitchen accent wall and hallway baseboards following a major floor remodeling project. Their prep work and protection of the adjacent main living areas was top notch. They erected a plastic containment tent that was 15' high and enabled them to sand, prep and spray the entry door system resulting in a finish that looks like it came from the factory. I have an architectural background and 40 years of construction experience and JCH's prep, protection and final product are as good as anything I've experienced. Their crews on both of our projects were courteous and made sure that their work every step of the way met our expectations. We will absolutely be using JCH Painting on our next project and do not hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering a painting project.

OVERALL a decent experience with Couto Homes...with a major caveat. The landscapers they hired…read morewere horrible, and the company didn't seem to care. Before closing on the property we virtually begged them for repairs, and didn't get much improvement. Because we didn't have unlimited time or money to stay in rental housing we were forced to accept the property as it was. You know how when installing sod it's expected that rocks on the ground surface would be removed, and holes and depressions filled in? Then you know more than the landscapers, who left a wildly uneven surface; we're paying for that every day when the rains leave huge puddles and we encounter holes in the yard. When after serious complaining the landscapers were forced to return to do some minor repairs, they scalped the installed turf, did some minor adjustments with the grade of the yard, and then replaced the excavated turf with the SAME turf they had left for weeks piled on the side of the yard--and that turf was now mostly dead. If YOU encountered a depression from a trench in a yard, YOU and I would fill in the dirt in the trough. THAT would be the correct thing, so of course they landscapers didn't do that. That's almost as much fun as playing "find the sprinkler" with sprinkler rotors left buried in the sod. The crowning pieces of bad luck were the two leaky sprinklers. TWICE the landscapers came out and purported to have fixed the problems at the sprinkers themselves, only for us to find the issue was actually an entirely separate valve that needed to be replaced--by a separate contractor at a cost of several hundred dollars for us. Some 'landscape warranty.' It's apparently too much to ask to have a crew of at least ten people who came to install the landscaping to get ONE guy with a metal rake to remove the rocks and boulders before the sod gets laid. Finally: When demonstrating the holes in the yard to a landscape supervisor, he essentially suggested all the holes were put there intentionally by us stepping hard on muddy soil. We are yet to figure out what the point would be of creating a hole only to get it filled in.

I regret paying for Chris'…read moreinspection (if you can even call it that), as all it has resulted in is thousands of dollars out-of-pocket and the home warranty company to deny my claims. VERY frustrated with the "service" I received. I was too trusting going into buying my first home and relying on the home inspection report and the inspector to be thorough. He only "visually inspects the operation" (per his contract) and does not actually test the components to make sure they are functioning properly. I relied on his report and then after moving in found out 5 electrical panel breakers were bad and 1 wire had incorrect sizing. He stated on his report they were "no visual issues" and "correct wire size per breaker" - both which were false!! (See photo) This cost me $2,811 in repairs. The second issue I had was with the HVAC not reaching temperature. He told me it was operating as expected and a couple of degrees off was not a big deal and I didn't need to worry about it. I TRUSTED him (big mistake!!) and now I am paying the price (~$16,000) to replace it, as it is indeed a BIG deal to have an HVAC unit that is half the size it should be. Before getting the repairs done, I reached out to him and he told me if there were any issues to "give him a chance to correct it before someone else makes repairs". So I reached out to him about the HVAC gas leak before I had any repairs done and then he responded saying he noted it didn't make temperature and he suggested having service done, but he would not help me try to correct the issue like he previously stated.
