I've never been into thrifting or anything like that, however, Value Village isn't the typical thrifting experience. The store has an abundance of options and there is always a hidden gem or two on the racks. Also, the color discount is the bombbbbbbbb. Granted on the days I go the things I want tend to never be the color of the day, LoL! However, the prices are already amazing even without the color of the day. On my journey of stores the Value Village - Forest Park location has become my favorite. The racks are always stocked and they put things in order size. OMG!!!! That is huge for me as I hate going on a scavenger hunt. The store is clean, the racks are sized, and they even had a Coach bag once. I told you, hidden gems. Value Village - Forest Park delivers value as a brand but also as a service. The staff is pleasant and they are always willing to help. Though the lines can be LONG at times, they move efficiently and never seem to be frustrated. If you're in the area, Value Village - Forest Park is a great place to stop in and grab a few things that may not have been on your list, but since you see them, you want them. LoL!!!!!

I would actually consider this a pretty good Value Village, as far as they are concerned. I…read morefrequent this place from time to time because I have friends that live in the area, and so we enjoy being cheapskates together on occasion. I've found some really great books here, so their book collection is pretty extensive. Thank you, people who don't read! A few notable purchases: once, me and my friend went here and found a really decent record player. A three-piece machine of beauty, with speakers, case case, and even one of those little volume boards to adjust bass, treble, etc. Though the player ended up having a busted speaker, it was still a really nice purchase. I've also found some really good costume pieces here before, as well. Things for when I went to Dragon Con, and other random themed parties. There are a lot of creeps, here, though. People who will hit on you, and sort of... Follow you in the store, to hit you up for your number, or because you "look so familiar". So there's that to put a damper on thrifting in this area.

Great selection a lot of variety of different things. They have great deals that is a lot cheaper than any other retail or variety store. Also, they sell everything here; clothes, shoes, toys, home decor, book bags, lingerie, accessories, perfume/cologne, and much more. Customer service is great and helpful. Ample free parking avaiable as it sits in a shopping plaza. One thing I don't like here is they sell clothing, but don't have a fitting/trial room.
