Having planned and executed many events throughout my professional life, I was quite impressed with the layout of the back shop and dock areas to the rear of the building - they appear to be well thought out so the logistical ease of event build and load out considered.

I was looking for somewhere to book my son's graduation party for Jun. 14 I spoke with Tammy, the main organizer of events and she said to come by on Sat May 24, she would show me around. When I arrived I was greeted by someone else who showed me around. That I was ok with. After I left I texted Tammy and told her I would like to book this venue. I never heard from her and one lady said she would get back to me on Tuesday. I never heard from her still, so I messaged her on the Thur May 29 and she said she submitted "it" she would send it to me tomorrow. 2 days goes by and I ask again if she knows anything yet and she said, "sorry I am not in the office and can't see her notes." She then proceeds to ask me how many guests and what food I wanted. Mind you we already discussed this. It is now Jun 2 and I have less than 2 weeks to find a new venue. Very poor communication and unprofessional.

An order was placed over the phone. The nice folks agreed to a contact-less, "curb side" delivery. When we arrived a very nice and helpful lady (also wearing a mask -- thank you!) brought our purchases out and loaded them. At the time we came there appeared to be no other customers in the expansive greenhouse, so after the nice lady who brought our stuff out stepped away we ventured inside. Wow -- were we impressed! A h-u-g-e variety of beautiful plants attractively (and uncommonly) arranged. Very nice! We'll be back when this stupid "virus problem" abates. Highly recommended! :)

The house itself is beautiful, and located just a quick walk away from the cool downtown restaurants, cafes and breweries. Word to the wise: don't leave each morning before enjoying whatever meal Thomas and Mary Joy are preparing. This place is a Bed and BREAKFAST. The fresh fruit, the homemade scones, the eggs and bacon...this isn't the wimpy continental breakfast you get at a hotel. This is a 4-star "I'm probably skipping lunch" breakfast, prepared by folks who clearly know what they're doing. The IT services are cutting edge, and the Venues we have are unique and one of a kind. We have a research Arboretum the perfect place to have lunch mid-day in the summer. We have a 1,000 person auditorium and two large exhibit halls. We also have a 900 person ballroom.
