On 5/2/2023 I paid A-Team trappers $2,245 for bat removal services. They came by once on the roof & we're supposed to return & check to see if problem resolved. They never came back! I noticed extreme bar activity & called them to tell them, no one came back & we indeed STILL had bat issues & even more then before! i was told someone would come back free of charge & remedy the issue. I have been calling, emailing, & leaving messages for weeks, multiple times a day. No one is responding or answering. Not only is this an issue with the thousands of dollars I spent on a service that they never followed through with, or completed; but this is a health hazard! read more

Had been trying to discourage the neighborhood raccoons from using our pool as a bathroom and finally hired a trapper. The humane policy from A-Team is what sold me on their service. While I was happy with the initial rodent trapping and proofing, I am quite unhappy with the office staff. I made an appointment for service, and no one showed up and no one called. When I called the office the day of the appointment, an office staff member told me that someone will come out by the end of that week or the next week. No one did come , and I did not receive a call or text. When, I called back , I was told that my previous appointment was not valid, and no one will be able to come out for another three weeks. When I asked if someone could come out earlier because I had an initial earlier appointment, the young woman on the phone suggested that I use another business and would give me some recommendations for other pest removal services, which I found very rude and a very poor business practice.I also had some questions about my contract and asked to be transferred to a manager, and this young woman told me she couldn't do that, and she couldn't give me contact information about the manager. These are very poor business practices. I don't know if anyone will show for my appointment which is a whole month after my initial appointment and have no way to contact a manager. read more

A Team Trappers were great to work with. Had a rat problem and now I don't have any as far as I can tell. The office always contacted me with any issues, let me schedule services when good for me and informed me with any changes. The work they promised was completed and only the future will determine how well the work was done. My RV had openings underneath where rats could enter and these were closed, put some traps inside that never caught a rat which I was told is good. The two company workers I was involved with were James and Dennis. They were very professional, friendly and appeared competent, always being patient and explaining everything to me and gladly answered all my questions. Very pleasant gentlemen. Enjoyed working with them. The services and quote was explained to me and I signed the contract so this issue is my fault and no reflection on James or Dennis. From what I've learned since and observing the work being done, the price was VERY EXPENSIVE. The work was not that involved and not a lot of work done. Only a few traps set, some patch work underneath and a spray job for erasing rat pheromones. All work only took a few hours to complete. I've since learned that I was charged close to double what the work was worth. For the services I received $900.00 plus dollars was a great deal for the company but not for me. Again, this issue was my fault and not the companies. Just be careful and do thorough research before hiring any company. I chose them based on reviews only. Not smart on my part. I recommend this company for their honesty and integrity. They were unable to resolve our pest problem because one of our neighbors was harboring the pest (wild rooster) and would not allow access to their property. This was totally out of A-Team's control and not their fault. They gave me a complete refund because they were unsuccessful (again not their fault) even though they spend several hours trying to remove the pest. When the issue with the neighbor is resolved I will definitely be calling A-Team Trappers to catch the rooster! read more

These guys did a super job ridding my attic of pests! Chris and Gordon saved us a lot of time and money. We tried 3 other pest control solutions before A-Team trappers. They truly live up to their name. Professional and service-oriented, these guys fixed our problem that had been plaguing us for a year and a half. Since A-Team, we haven't heard a single noise in the attic. I must say, it wasn't a quick fix but it was a permanent fix. Our house is old and had broken pipes, which is how the rats were getting in. I chose them because of the good reviews. I sent two notes and scheduled an appointment via HomeAdvisor. To make sure that they would come, I called the Miami office two days before the appointment. The person that took my call just told me that she could not confirm the appt if I booked via HomeAdvisor. I asked to check her schedule, she said she would not do it until later. I told her that I had family coming to a reunion and had a rodent problem. She just said â everybody that calls here has an emergency so yours is not a priorityâ . I found her attitude and comment not only rude but completely unnecessary and unkind. I told her to confirm my appointment and let me know. I did not hear from her so I called the afternoon before the appointment Another woman answered my call and told me that the morning person had cancelled the proposed appointment and noted that â customer called to cancel because decided to go with another companyâ !!!! SHE LIED! She was not only rude but decided to be vindictive and LIED! I asked this person to please confirm an appointment for me and to call me. She said, promised, that she would call me that afternoon before closing the office. Never got a call and no-one ever called me back or showed in my house. I am beyond upset and offended by the unnecessary treatment I received from A-Team Trappers.... unkind, unfair, unsympathetic and rude. We selected the A Team because they guaranteed that they would remove all of our Pest problems that we unexpectedly encountered when purchasing a new/old home. We signed up for a big job to clean out the whole attic and as part of the contract, they promised a long term service plan so once removed, we would be worry free and have a team tracking any issues before they come back. They were incredibly attentive until they received the large payment. We agreed to a monthly service plan and not only do they not show up, they won't even return my call to discuss why they have suddenly dropped off the planet. Don't be fooled by their "we take care of our customers" as they are just after the larger jobs that make more money and don't care at all about customer loyalty. Go with a company that will follow up long term as it's a huge up front investment and you deserve to receive what you expected when selecting a service provider. read more

When I found out I had bats I did not know what to do. This wasn't something I ever thought could happen. I called several companies and even though they advertise as pest control and bats are technically pests they would not even bother coming out for a quote. I luckily got in touch with A-Team Trappers and not only did they do bat removal they had someone out to my house the next day to give me a quote. Bat removal isn't cheap but the price quoted was way below what I heard through the neighborhood the last guy with a bat problem paid. Gordon was my technician. He provided 5-star service the whole way through. He called before showing up, showed up when he was supposed to show up. He told me step-by-step all that he was doing during every visit. Gordon was always a phone call away and was always ready to answer my questions. He went above and beyond and always delivered. We are wrapping up a long, tedious process of eliminating rats in our home. We moved into our home a year ago and soon heard evidence of rats in the attic. I had a rat stuck in a hole in my barn. I was worried because I had recently poured concrete to fill the hole and was afraid the bottom half of the animal was stuck in the now dried concrete. I tried what I could do but was too afraid to get too close to it. I called A Team because their ad says "humane". That shows they have a dirty job to do but they are as humane as possible in doing it. The tech was out within the hour, during a tropical storm. He did not hesitate to handle the animal by pulling it out of the hole it was wedged in. He saved its life while removing it from my barn. He sealed up the hole. He was very professional, kind and clearly knows his job. I live in the country and now I feel a lot better knowing I have this company to turn to. I highly recommend them to everybody! read more

Update...posting the review got the return phone call I had been looking for for weeks. A trapper came out right away and A Team made good on the remainder of our contract to my satisfaction. All 3 trappers that had been out to our home were knowledgeable and seemed to genuinely care for the animals. I called A Team Trappers on a Saturday afternoon and Sam, one of their techs arrived in just a few hours- he fit us in his busy day and it was so appreciated. We noticed a smell in our home that increased in strength over a few days and needed help in identifying what the cause was and where it was hiding. Sam spent an hour looking over our house, the attic and even crawled under the house to see if he could find the rodent to be removed....but no such luck. After determining where the strong was presenting the strongest, it was determined it was more than likely behind our bathroom wall and Sam gave us an option to open the wall and hope to find it, or wait until the smell disappeared, which by the signs he saw could be a few days. We opted for waiting versus tearing out a wall. He gave us such good information- we felt just the education and suggestions he gave was extremely valuable. The visit and opinion of Sam was totally free as they give a free assessment with each call, but we would have paid for their help without hesitation.
