Hired them through the U-Haul app while scheduling a moving truck on Jan. 4, 25. We schedule them for Saturday, Jan 11th. All they had to do is load the truck we rented, go to the storage unit with my husband and then unload into the unit. At max it would have been 2 hours, we paid for 3 hours. They called 3:30 PM on Friday Jan. 10th to find out what city we were in. I told the man where and he cancelled stating he doesn't service this area. We used this company (turns out to be only an individual) to pick up a sectional in kissimee and dealer to winter garden. I was told they would have 3 movers. One guy named Jason arrived in a small uhaul, and all of the sectional pieces were crammed into the truck without protection. He began unloading and when I mentioned there was damage and water on some of the pieces, he demanded the moving fee before continuing. We no longer wanted the furniture but had no options. When I paid him, he trough the furniture out of the truck and drove off. read more

We hired these guys through U-Haul their number is 407-881-2210 DO NOT ACCEPT THEM AS YOUR MOVERS. THEY ARE SCAMMERS They scammed my mom. they stole her payment code by asking to see the "confirmation email". They were scheduled for 4 hours, and threw everything onto the truck with no consider, BROKE FURNITURE. My mom had them scheduled for TWO LOCATIONS. Appartment and a Storage Unit. My mom confirmed two locations 5 times with this number and with the two men in person. when the apartment was done, they began to give her a hard time about the storage unit and then asked to see the confirmation email. this is when they stole the payment code apart of the email. my mom did not notice or think about it. They said to meet at the storage place and they would follow. they did not follow, they left to do "another job" and they would come back. Waited 2 hours, and that's when I knew my mom was scammed. called them, they began to cuss me and my mom out (as I began to argue back bc this is my mom). They said they would come back as a "favor" because their job was already "complete" after the apartment. because they stole the code already. Theyre spam listed on craigslist under the number: (407)881-2210 Bait and switch tactics, as well as hostile in person behavior and tones, they did not complete the move, and one of the 2 movers didnt speak to my partner when she was asking him question about the move. We booked the move yesterday for today and they told us a $300 flat rate would be all inclusive and they would provide a 15ft truck. We told them we could provide a larger truck than they had available and then they said $200 flat rate for everything including if the move took more time than 2 hrs. They completed their work on 1.5 hours, but we wanted them to return to our storage unit to get the last few items as it did not all fit in first load and we were being rushed after only about 30 mins of them loading our items. Our storage unit is less than 2 miles away from our home so it should not have added more than 30mins to an hour tops to the move (so in total it would have changed from a 1.5hr move to tops 2 to 2.5 hrs). When we tried to speak to them about the fact that they said $200 for the move including if it took more time and tried to discuss going back to get the last few items, the mover started yelling at us. He stood in our doorway, would not look us in the eye when speaking, and yelled. They did not complete the full move, commented on our home/income, baited and switched the moving arrangement, and yelled at us when we wanted to figure out what the cost should have been for a move that only took them 1.5hrs and was incomplete. The worst part about this is that we hired them because we're from the same community, and our intention was to give them a substantial tip on top of the cost of the move just because of our similar backgrounds. read more

OK so I know my wife left a review but to respond to everything that transpired with our move. The move was initially intended for 9:30, for whatever their reasoning they did not arrive until 3:30. My wife was initially told that they would pack and move both my T.V's, they left my televisions and told her they did not feel comfortable moving the tv,s. I left before they finished packing to go to the storage. I received a call from my wife that they missed an entire room and left boxes that were in my closet. When I called A-team movers they stated to me they did not see the 4th bedroom. So to see there response after the fact, that the truck did not have space is a flat out lie. Once I seen the truck when they opened it. I can tell you that is not true. Also, you charged us double the price. I can agree it was more work then what my wife stated to you, she will even agree with that, but to put a hole in my wall, leave items and not even make a attempt to go back was unexceptable. We spent more money and time having rent a truck myself and go back 40 miles to pick up the items that you forgot. I missed a day of work to complete the job we entrusted you to do the day before. If you could admit the discrepancies with the move I wouldn't have a problem but you own up to doing bad business. so i called them after seeing their ad on Craigslist. I had a last minute move and needed someone who could come immediately. I called them they gave me info but when I told them I would give them a call right back to verify Jason hung up on me. I thought that was odd but just chalked it up to him being really busy. But in the meantime I spoke with another moving company but A-team was going to make it to me a little faster so I opted to go with them. Jason is who I spoke with. I told them that the other company was going to take longer to arrive So I would prefer to book with A-Team. He sounded oddly surprised but booked with me anyway. We hang up then maybe 5 minutes later I get a text from him that says "use the movers." So I texted back "the other ones?" cause I wasn't sure if he was saying to cancel or booking or what. then I called a couple times but it went straight to voicemail and he never responded. I realized that all the other messages showed delivered and read besides that last message. So he had blocked me apparently. This was the most bizzare experience I've ever had. I've never written a Yelp review to my knowledge but this one was insane to me. Looking at these stories I think that this company realized that they weren't going to be able to take advantage of me because I had options and so didn't want to deal with me at all. idk if that part is true but after looking through these reviews it certainly seems to fit. My opinion is to use discernment when dealing with them. read more
