After researching and reading reviews, I decided to take a chance on PJM Auto Detailing and I am so incredibly grateful I did. I am a first time customer and I brought my 11-year-old car in for a deep interior clean and exterior clean and detail and what I received was an incredible miracle! When I saw my car after Peter and his son finished and showed me the car I was in absolute awe and amazement and wanted to cry tears of joy. I couldn't believe my eyes. He even took the time to clean under the hood. It is no exaggeration, my car looked and smelled like a brand new car! What impacted me even more than the results was the care, integrity, and heart behind the work....it was truly a labor of love. He stayed true to the original quote even though the labor took longer than the original time estimate. That kind of honesty and work ethic is rare, and it more to me than I can fully express. From the moment I walked into the shop, it reminded me of home and my dad who is a mechanic. There was a sense of hospitality, trust, and genuine care that you don't come across often. I didn't feel like just another customer, I felt like I was genuinely being taken care of. In a season where I've been navigating a lot--transition, new city, car decisions, finances, and life in general--this experience felt like such a wonderful gift. It wasn't about just getting my car cleaned. It felt like I was being shown kindness, provision, and care in a way that went beyond the service itself.. I am so deeply grateful. This wasn't just a clean and detail, it was an experience I will never forget. Thank you so much Peter and Josh at PJM Auto Detailing. I am forever grateful. I have been trying for months to reach this business by phone, and have not had one phone call returned, despite leaving a couple of messages. I finally decided to try reaching out through Yelp. I thought that I'd finally made some headway, as shortly after filling out the form, I received a response with a list of their services and their prices. But it turns out that was merely an automated system response. Where it gets worse is I responded with the service that I would have liked. . . But crickets. Even though Yelp showed that my message was "Read". I gave them a few days, assuming that they were just busy. But I can't believe that a business can be so busy as to not provide at least an acknowledgement. My final communication was reaching out to thank them for their initial automated response and mentioning that I assume they have no availability. And again. . . crickets. The final straw was the notification that my message on Yelp had indeed been received and "Read", yet still ignored. I really wanted and tried to support this women-owned business, but I am extremely disappointed in their lack of communication. Reply to Business Owner's Response: A quick search of my cell phone's call history shows that I did in fact call the correct number. The screenshot below shows that I have been trying to reach out to you since May 2025. And if you look closer, you will see that each of the icons are outgoing calls. Not one call back was ever received from you, despite the voicemail messages that I left. Additionally, I still have my landline, so a couple of calls were also made using that phone number. However, I don't feel that it's necessary to provide a screenshot of those call records. After my last call of October 28, 2025, I finally reached out to you through Yelp in November 2025, which leads us to this review. Thank you for your response to my review, although I wish that I could have received a proper response outside of this forum. Good luck to you in the future.

    I had a recent experience with Lamon that was completely unacceptable. I brought my car in after…read morehaving a mild parking lot fender bender. The original estimate was for $3800 ( which i thought was on the high side.) Well , by the time Lamon was finished, they had submitted 3 extra supplemental requests to my insurance company, and brought the new claim all the way up to $13,000! I strongly believe that they created additional work just so they could make more money. When I addressed my concerns to the sales rep, they explained that they " need to make money" and the only area that they can accomplish this goal is thru additional labor charges. When i dropped my car off, i told them that i needed to return the car as the lease was expiring. They estimated completion within 8 days. As it turned out, they had the car in for "repairs" for over 5 weeks. They even put in a last minute supplemental request to the insurance company 2 days before i was expecting to pick up the car. I was put in the uncomfortable position to have to call my insurance company to expedite this last repair approval. In essence, my car was being held hostage pending this last payment. While the quality of the work was satisfactory, the overall experience was very disturbing. I will never bring a car into Lamon in the future.
