After initially being quoted 1 price over the phone and then the customer…read morerep trying to make me sign a higher price at the store and insisting that his price was final, I contacted the manager and he fixed the price to the one I was given over the phone. I appreciated this. Their pricing system is very, very complicated and is not designed for long term storage. It kind of feels like it is designed to trick the customer into increasingly higher payments. An initial new customer price quickly rises to nearly double that price over a year. I understand that climate controlled storage pays a premium but this storage might be the most expensive in the city for simple long term storage. Overall I wouldn't recommend this place unless you only need it for a few months or if you absolutely have to have climate controlled storage. The company could probably make more money with longer term, stable pricing that doesn't accelerate so high. Something like the first 4 months at a new customer discount and then an expected stable price is much, much easier for the customer to navigate.

After 2 payments, they randomly decided to increase the monthly rate with an email. Since we live in Boston we are stuck until late August. I'd discuss rate and make sure you are locked in if possible for the duration of the rental. I've reached out for an explanation, but not response from anyone with the company.

I had gone here to rent a uhaul truck. The equipment had some mechanical issues and was not…read morefunctioning. We called uhaul and of course there were problems with their service. We decided to go back to conifer and the owner was really nice and pleasant. He called his son and they took care or dealing with uhaul for us. We were issued a refund. Their service was exceptional and pleasant despite our frustrating situation. I would recommend this service to my friends and family and would return myself.

They ALWAYS worked with me and never closed my unit. Whenever I had issues (losing my key), they would figure out a way to help me. When I had to empty the unit due to moving out, they refunded me part of my months rent since it was during the first week of the month. Such wonderfully kind people!!! And I always felt like the place was clean and my things were safe. I drove 35 minutes from my home to store my stuff and it was completely worth it with the customer service I experienced. I can't recommend this place enough!
