My esthetician was very nice, professional and darn good at making sure you have a relaxing time. As there were 3 of us and we could only go one at a time and each appointment lasts a little over an hour, they offered for us to spend time in their sauna while waiting. The facial was really great- she made sure to focus on all of my problem areas. Whenever she would apply a treatment to my face, instead of leaving the room and coming back like I've experienced at most other salons, she spent her time massaging my arms/hands/legs/feet/shoulders/scalp. Overall, a great facial(I left glowing!!)and the prices are very reasonable! Most importantly, I have very sensitive skin and none of the products irritated my skin. I told her I would call her back shortly to confirm the appointment as I didn't want her waiting for me. Mind you, life happens and we are all human. I had a medical appointment earlier in the afternoon which I couldn't make it too due to my hectic work schedule. I had to go to that appointment directly after work, hence my request for a later time. I called Bev at 5:15pm, and yes it was short notice but I genuinely was trying to see if I would still make the 5:45pm appointment even after my medical appointment as it was close to my job. She automatically went "ugh" on the phone then questioned what town I was in... I also apologized to her as I never cancel appointments. She proceeds to say, "you only gave me 15 min but okay thank you" with an entire attitude then hangs up. Mind you, 5:45pm would be a half hour notice not 15min. SHE THEN PROCEEDS to send a cancellation notice through the app with the following message: "this special person cancelled within 15 min notice, gave bs excuse. Tell all fellow esthies about this one". LITERALLY THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL, DISRESPECTFUL thing a business owner could say or do. Now I'm special? That's literally crazy. I am so glad I dodged the bullet with this one. I even attached the photo for proof. Next time you shouldn't assume someone's situation before getting mad someone cancelled. I don't know you, and you don't know me. It's not like we have worked with each other in the past and I cancel left and right. What a great way to bring new clients in.

I should have called but everything happened so quickly that I honestly was not thinking about the days appointments. I was unable to pick up my phone when they called but when I realized what had happened I called right back from the hospital. They do not answer their phone so I left a message and sent an email explaining what happened, I received no response and they charged me $185.00 for missing the appt. My message stated that I understood I would need to pay a cancellation fee and asked if under the circumstances if they could refund part of the $185.00 Well as I said there was no response. I would have been a very good client for these people as I would have utilized a number of their services on an ongoing basis. I did make a mistake but I think this is a very bad way to do business and a terrible way to take advantage of someone. Sometimes things just happen!
