I can't praise them enough for the driving lessons that they gave me. I have had my license for 30 years but I have been terrified to drive on the high way. I had lessons with another driving school that just made my anxiety worse. I decided to try Safeway driving school and see if that went any better. Even on the phone prior to my lessons Dale made me feel more at ease. After my first lesson I already felt like I could master highway driving. He took his time with me and gradually increased the difficulty until I felt more confident. I now can drive places that I couldn't drive before and my anxiety is almost non existent. I would recommend Them to any one needing to learn to drive. Dale did an incredible job and he has given me so much more confidence and independence. read more

I called around trying to find someone who services the quarryville area during the pandemic and this driving school came to my rescue. They cover all of the necessary things to be able to pass my driving exam and more. Dale was the instructor that helped me and he is very patient, thorough, and dependable. read more

Specialties

We can train anyone of any age with little to no experience behind the wheel how to drive. Our clientele is usually teenagers, but we have also helped a 62, 69,73, and 84 year old student either regain their license or get one for the first time. We have taught students with learning disabilities, cognitive impairment, Asperger Syndrome, ADHD, and Extreme Anxiety. Our chief instructor, Dale, is a high school teacher with over 33 yrs. of experience in the classroom and 17 yrs. in the driver ed. car.

Established in 1980.

We are now preparing our clients for 12 different test centers in 5 different counties. If you are nervous about your test, give us a call so that we can share with you our insights on the examiners, the course, and the proper visual reference points necessary for consistency when parallel parking.

Meet the Manager: Dale A.

I have taught all levels and abilities of students from ages 16 to 89. Most were getting their license for the first time, but some of our clients had lost it due to illness or accumulated points on their driving record. It is a joy to see each student start with a certain base knowledge and then see him/her quickly master the skills required to succeed in today's complex data environments.
