All Clear Plumbing and Drains - Boiler installation

All Clear Plumbing and Drains

We found a small leak in our crawl space and called All Clear Plumbing and Drains. They immediately…read morescheduled someone to evaluate the leak within hours of my call. The office even called back letting me know the technician would be coming earlier than expected and asked if I would be available. Finally, a company that appreciates my time too!!! Drew, the technician, was very courteous as he explained what needed to be done. He was able to start work immediately and, once completed, Drew showed me what he did. In addition to the excellent service, I love this company for their professionalism and friendliness. All Clear Plumbing and Drains is my go to plumbing company now!

I called them and they were polite and responsive. The gentleman who came out gave me a fairly high…read morequote.... but i thought, if I never have to deal with this stupid sump pump again, it will be worth it. They quoted me 1600 dollars... that was only to remove the old sump (pumps, plural) and replace it with a new one. I wasnt sure if the electrical was to blame or the sump pump so I just contracted with them...thinking they will take care of it. They originally said how it would take probably 8 hours. The day the gentleman showed up to do the work, he was timely and polite. Everything started out great. But then he was done in about 2 hours... (????) so i figured, no problem, at least I wont have to worry about it again... (queue up the foreshadowing...as this was NOT the last time I would have to deal with it). Within a month or 2 I went down to the basement/crawlspace area to add salt to the water softener, and sure enough, there was standing water...(What the heck??) So I called All Clear.... They promptly showed up.. it was even the same guy! He stuck his hand in the mucky/murky water and stirred it around and got it working again.. and told me ..."anytime this happens you can just do this" (UHHH NO THANK YOU SIR, I WILL NOT BE STICKING MY HAND IN GROSS WATER TO FEEL FOR SOMETHING TO TRIGGER THE SUMP PUMP) I told him im not sticking my hand in that so ...what do i just ...poke it with a stick? He said, yeah just do that. So I ultimately paid 1600 dollars for a sump pump replacement that took 2 hours that I have to go and poke with a stick on occasion. How do I feel about this..? Not good, to be honest. I have never paid that much per hour for plumbing work..(well, honestly I paid less for plumbing work from another company that just ended up getting ripped out and to have them text and threaten me)... so I guess at least the plumbing work stayed put and works...90% of the time... but I cannot say it was a good value. I kind of figured that for that amount of money (per hour) I would have gotten a better, more lasting outcome.

The basement flooded in our house over the summer and All A's was recommended by one of the guys…read moredoing the water clean-up. The All A's crew was tremendously helpful in our time of need. Kevin and Anthony were immediately responsive and helped us understand what we needed and were able to replace our sump pump system as well as our hot water heater the same day. Despite the damage they made sure my family didn't miss a beat. Even in the days that followed they answered questions we had and were able to educate us about our new system and other things to keep in mind above and beyond what their services offered. All A's is a local, family owned business and their work effort reflects that. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a go-to plumber in or around the Randolph area.

Kevin and Anthony are so dedicated and hard working. Their staff is polite, neat, organized, and hard working. Their pricing is beyond fair, they handled everything with such professionalism, and they are super easy to talk to. Big shout out to Marisa. She runs an organized, very busy office and is also so pleasant. Two thumbs up guys. Thank you so much for making this process much easier than I could have ever imagined.

She took a few notes and said she would call back. Nine minutes later she called and told me that their crew was just finishing up in my town and would swing by. Ten minutes later the owner John came up my walk and I directed him to the crawl space, whereupon he emerged 5 minutes later with the verdict: the 12 year old water heater was DOA and leaking. Since my mechanicals are all squeezed into a crawl-space, he would need to locate a new heater designed to fit in such spaces. He spent about 10 minutes on his phone and told me he could have a supply house in Hanover drive one right up. Additionally, he told me an electrician would be necessary to install an emergency cutoff switch and offered his go-to guy if I didn't have one. I didn't and he made the call. An hour later he came back with his helper and the new tank. Meyer Electric out of Swartswood showed up 10 minutes later and both crews went to work. 3 hours elapsed and I was back in business! I am completely satisfied with the workmanship and with the fast response to hot water dilemma. I love that the operation is a family affair and local. I'm lucky too that John has a good relationship with Bill Meyer Electric, who came on very short notice and did the work for a fair price. You can't ask for more than good, skilled and honest local contractors. I highly recommend them!

For the amount of work that was done here, I found all their pricing to be absolutely nothing but fair. Since buying this house, I've had to replace the; hot water heater, well-water holding tank, well pump & washing machine spigots. I think that's it... for now. But Heine will be my first and only call should the need arise (i have a kitchen/bath remodel coming up... :)
