Awful, greedy and very unprofessional. This lady recently hired me for a photo shoot so she can market her company. Wedding shoots are my specialty, It's how I pay my bills. I showed up to the shoot with my own wardrobe. I drove 2 hours. When I get there I worked my ass off and made her job easy. 8 hour job...Three weeks later I contact her for payment and she ignores me. About a month half later she responds and says I'm sorry I'm not going to pay you. I then had to contact my lawyer and my lawyer said that I have to take her to peoples court. I told her she needs to pay me and she offered to pay me only $100. I took the money out of need because I had to pay my bills and I could not wait any longer. Seven days after she paid me the hundred dollars she is trying to reverse the payment with PayPal and get her money back. This lady is a real scum. I do not recommend working with her Or booking her. She is not honest in what she does and she is trying to get over on little people so she can cash out on big fish. read more

I recently worked with Carlisha and I was not impressed. She wasn't fully prepared and arrived very last minute. If it weren't for my staff, she wouldn't have been able to get the job done. She forgot and overlooked very simple, common things. I would not recommend her. read more

My wife (fiance at the time) and both our families live overseas, which is where we had our official wedding. I wanted to also have a reception here in the US for all of my close friends that would not be able to make the trip overseas. Carly was such a huge help in planning this event. Without her I would have been totally lost trying to plan this event on my own. Everyone had a blast and it was all thanks to Carly's hard work and dedication. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding that Carli planned and honestly I was not impressed at all. At first when I was looking at her site and seeing all of the tips and pins that she has I thought to myself wow this is going to be what my best friend deserves. Lets just start with the day before the wedding on everything that went wrong. the bride and I are headed to the venue to meet carli and the rental company and received a phone call from Carli 10 mins before she is supposed to be there and she stated everything was under control and she didn't need to come. When we arrived the set up crew forgot to leave the cushions for the chairs and didn't place the tent and the dance floor in the proper place. I told the bride to call her to get it straightened out. When the bride called Carli reassured that the cushions were there when they weren't but she said she would handle it. So the day progressed and we made it to the rehearsal That's when we realized that the table length was going to be the wrong size and they were shorter then what was used for the layout for reception the next day causing the bride and planner to think of an alternate plan which caused the bride to purchase more tables and linens. Carli informed the bride everything would work out, but that was not the case the next day. The bride and us bridesmaids stayed at the venue until about 11pm that night setting up everything inside to make sure the inside details could be perfect to the brides needs and they were. The next morning we started getting ready and following her itinerary that she mapped out for us. Everything was going great. Once the planner got there she was surprised the bride has set everything up internally minus some flowers as she was waiting for the proper time. She shared with the planner the only thing she needed was to be sure the reception area was ready and so she got to work with the father of the bride with moving tables. They tried many layouts until one worked and assured my friend that the seating chart would be fine. My friend was stressed but believed everything would work and tried to stop crying and it work until well like any day in Florida it started to rain. So the main reason you have a planner is to help with those disasters. Well thats literally when panic started to set in. I was disappointed at the lack of communication there was between her and the bridal, bridal party, and the families. Yes, there was some weather issues but to not let anyone know what was going on in the wedding party, to the bride getting upset, to the mother of the bride crying because she wasn't allowed to "see" her daughter. Then Carli said that bride didn't want to see anyone and be alone when that wasn't the case at all. The photographers didn't get a first look of the bride and her father making the father feel the bride did not want him there and Carli kept all of the bridesmaids out of the room of the bride by miscommunication because the bride just wanted to get dressed with one person present but did not bring everyone else back in promptly but instead the sister of the bride was outside waiting not feeling wanted. Carli decided to move the cocktail hour to before the ceremony but didn't communicate that with anyone present at the wedding beside the bride who was not even present. It made it look like something was going wrong with the bride and groom since no one new what was going on. As the cocktail hour ended you thought with the extra 2 hours she had to set up everything would have been perfect. Since Carli disappeared because well the "stress" she forgot the ceremony table. The Dj, sister of the bride and pastor had to set it up after the bride noticed from upstairs it was not outside yet where she also had items still not set up and items laying around an hour after the ceremony should have started and the ceremony was delayed. As she was trying to set up the reception during the hour delayed ceremony she misplaced the place cards and thank you cards as well as the seating chart that was printed for her, catering and an extra that a bridesmaid gave her resulting in the brides mother and father not even seating next to her in the reception. Then there were a few mess ups with the decorations that were not where they wanted them and of how she handled the day when stress set in. As the night went on the tables outside started having issues because of the humidity and she did nothing to change the look when table numbers began to wilt, she just allowed it to continue instead of adjusting to make the appearance better. Once you notice a look is bad you should change it not leave it looking crappy. After the wedding she complained about closing up and had said snarky remarks to all of the bridesmaids. My friend was supposed to have her magical day with so many wonderful memories and it ended up everyone being upset. A Rose Designs was absolutely wonderful! Carlisha went above and beyond to help with anything I needed. I wanted to do some of the planning myself and she gave me as much space as I wanted and helped when I needed help. She even found me a hairdresser right before the wedding when mine backed out and had my bouquet corrected when it arrived the morning of my wedding and wasn't quite right. She made my wedding planning enjoyable and took a load off of me for a very reasonable price! I was a little hesitant to have a wedding planner at first, but am truly delighted that she was there, especially on the day of the wedding. We discovered Carlisha at the PWG expo show. We hired her as our day-of planner with a plus package that included 4 months prior consultations in which she helped us to find and hire the majority of our vendors. Her vendors are phenomenal and affordable, especially her florist Sarah. We had several DIY elements that needed the personal touch and she helped in so many ways that were not expected. Besides keeping the big picture in focus she helped to transport decorations when we didn't have time to bring them to the reception hall and when we ran out of food at the reception, she worked with the caterer and father of the bride to quickly and affordably get more food on the table. One minor bump was that her client load was a bit heavy the weeks right before our wedding. This resulted in a few communication black outs when most of the vendors from "our side" were trying to get in touch with her. Carly was a huge help in all of my planning. She made all the appointments so i did not have to worry about making 100s of calls while still working full time. She got me lots of options to choose from all witn in my low budget! Also having her there on the big day was great! i didnt have to worry, i knew it would all be taken care of!
