I had the opportunity to spend some nice R&R time with my eleven year old son at 6 Colony Lane. It was a nice, quiet stay for the two of us (although there ARE 3 bedrooms with queen beds and a twin daybed with a trundle bed beneath in the loft area). Tucked into small wooded neighborhood in the Galena Territory, this would be an excellent place to bring the family or friends for a weekend of relaxing by the fireplace... My son was overjoyed with the presence of a pool table in the lower level; however, the double whirlpool tub won me over. Thanks to Jolene at A Plus Reservations for making our stay as enjoyable as we were told it would be. Definately an A+ for A Plus Reservation by Dixie! read more

We are a small family owned business managing about 30 vacation homes in the Galena Territory and Apple Canyon Lake Resort areas. I was born and raised in Galena, Illinois and LOVE this area. I think Galena and all of JoDaviess County is a "Must See" for everyone!
