He gave a very fair estimate and we scheduled for a couple days out to allow for my new stove to be delivered. He took care of everything from pulling city permits, scheduling inspections and making sure my new stove was installed and ready to go for me with minimal down time. I'm thrilled to have such an awesome plumber to call for all my future needs. I highly recommend Sean for anything you need. Sean from Avid plumbing was an amazing referral from a handyman of mine and I highly recommend him…read more Sean has a work ethic that you don't see often anymore, it was very refreshing. He is so polite, very professional, communicative and take so much pride in his work. He was apprehensive at first to do an outdoor shower for liability purposes, but still came to spec the job, which I really appreciated. He ended up taking the job and was exciting about the challenge and the design and went as far as doing research on how he could make the water valves safe from freezing in the winter. He just went above and beyond every step of the way. I really appreciated the complementary home inspection of all the plumbing inside and outside the house PRIOR to starting any work. That was so smart and so nice and it actually turned out to be a life saver for me when he found a pin hole leak in a pipe underneath my house that had been leaking for weeks! I am not sure anyone else would have found that. Needless to say, he ended up fixing that, saving me a disaster down the road and getting the shower done in two visits. He worked non-stop all day, is very clean and neat and takes so much pride in his work. I highly recommend him! I am very happy :)

Unfortunately, we recently experienced a leak from the system (which was not due to any fault of their installation or work). Their plumber arrived within the hour, immediately fixed the problem, and provided very helpful information on our plumbing. I've been highly impressed with their work and customer service, and highly recommend them. I will definitely be a long-term customer.

Checking voltage, gas pressure, live camera, etc. The new install was done under a "home warranty repair contract," and I knew I wasn't bringing that guy back. But the Magic tech showed me the AC float switch that was never wired correctly, the tape that could have blocked a critical kill switch, and left me knowing everything was okay. He confirmed safeties were working properly (after service). I felt good with the updates done. Combustion assessment has a separate price tag, like an al a carte menu. He researched a replacement UV bulb and found a cost while onsite. There was quite a bit of effort to upsell into service agreements. Aside from that, I will certainly consider them for summer AC, hot water, and heater maintenance. For what I needed at the time, perfect. I am considering a annual service agreement for the heater, AC, and hot water. They are apparently expanding to attic insulation ad well. The negative reviews from "CA customers" are puzzling. They deserve 5-stars.
