He then told me I'd need to pay another $80 for a reinspection after I fixed it. Afterward, I went to another professional for a second opinion, and they confirmed that the axle replacement was unnecessary. In fact, the vehicle should have passed the inspection without it, just repair lights with new bulbs. I feel like Pedro's service was misleading and potentially a ploy to send work to his friend. I'd caution anyone considering a brake and light inspection with him to get a second opinion before making any repairs he suggests or go somewhere else.
