The "professionals" you got coming to the house were careless. Their texturing left a mess in the living room because they didn't seal the area properly. They did not tape off the wall that didn't need texturing. Their response was for me to wash the wall because the texture will come right off. The cracked areas of the drywall ONLY occurred on the areas that you worked on. NO OTHER AREA IN MY HOME HAS THIS. and this home was built over 20yrs ago. your work only lasted about a year. There was no illusion on the work of the raised drywall. I felt it and YOUR response when you felt it was that it was an illusion. A person with some sort of experience would know that there is an issue with the work if they felt it, but you just wanted to get your money and leave. You can change the format of your invoice after you see it was your job but it does no not change the fact that it was your work. I'm sure you don't like the review, but the work is sloppy. If you want to lie about it, it's fine, but people should know on who to bring in before they spend their hard-earned money to fix their homes.

They even installed special thresholds so we could be assured of being able to roll equipment in and out of the space easily. After each stage of the job, the crew cleaned up the area and removed all debris. The price quoted us initially was in line with competitors, better than several, who failed to follow up with us. First, Bobby was highly recommended by Idyllwild's much-beloved roofing contractor, Brandon - so that was a good sign out of the gate. When I contacted Bobby, he replied quickly, set up a call for us to chat about the work, and sent us a proposal within the day. The proposal was pretty much what we expected given the scope and difficulty of the job; that is to say, nothing seemed egregious in the proposed charges and timeline. We hired him without meeting him (as we were out of town for a spell). Bobby gave us a reasonable start/stop window and kept us updated on the process the entire time so we never had to wonder what was going on. He texted us updates and sent us pictures of their progress frequently. Our house is quite difficult to do outside work on, as one side is extremely steep and rocky. Bobby and his crew persevered - they went above and beyond to do the work on budget, on time, and really WELL - they did a beautiful job! The soffit looks amazing - NOT an easy job, that's for sure. And Bobby was flexible, too - we asked if he'd be willing to add installation of copper mesh to the job as they installed the soffit, and he was totally on board. I cannot praise him and his crew more highly. It's really a leap of faith to hire someone to do such a large, important job when you're not even there (something we always told ourselves we'd never do). But every step along the way, we felt like we were in good, capable, trustworthy hands. The job was completed without a single problem from our side - though I know that he and his team ran into some roadblocks along the way that never halted their progress, because Bobby is a problem-solver.
