He said they sold Marvin doors and that I could look on their site to see if they had the sort of style we were looking for. On the Marvin site they did in fact have the kind of style we were looking for. We came in for our in-person appointment, the salesman showed us French doors, not really what we were interested in so I showed him the Marvin site. He said "we sell Marvin doors but not TruStile." Apparently TruStile was bought by Marvin but for whatever reason Affordable Windows and Doors doesn't sell particular lines in a brand they carry? He didn't offer up any alternatives in a similar style from perhaps another door company and made no attempts to actually help us find something in the style we were looking for. He basically showed us one French door, told us we don't sell doors like the ones on the site he told us to go look on and that was it. Guess I'll order from the door company directly.

When the guy came he essentially told me he'd charge me triple for the vanity if I didn't do my kitchen at the same time because he'd have to come out for a small job. A couple weeks later and I never got any quote even after emailing to follow up. I also don't like that they use a third party answering service so if there was an issue there's a hard barrier between you and the company.

Do not hire Elite Installations…read more Elite Installations was nothing short of a nightmare. After a flood in our home while we had a 21-month-old and a 6-week-old they appeared to be doing things correctly. We later realized that was only because we were stuck in a hotel and couldn't see the shortcuts they were taking. They took advantage of a young family, trying to get back in their home. Fast-forward a year, and the truth came out: - They put the wrong carpet in one of our rooms. I will blame postpartum fog for not saying something sooner. - They installed our toilet in blatant violation of MA plumbing code, it wasn't even secured to the floor. This is basic, entry-level competence they couldn't manage. - they installed hardwood floors that warped and when they replaced it with LVT, they dint remove all the hardwood and now 1.5 years later it's warping again. - They did multiple other things incorrectly, and after constantly following up with them for 5 months, they did ultimately fix them. Despite constantly hyping themselves up on Facebook and recommending themselves at every turn, our experience proved they are not honest, they cut corners whenever possible, and they absolutely do NOT stand behind their work once they're paid. Look up the reviews, look up the litigation against them (which are being added too regularly), our situation is unfortunately not unique. To be clear, I have given elite MULTIPLE opportunities to remedy these issues and they refuse. If you value your home, money, your time, or your sanity, stay far away from this company. They are the last people you want to trust with your home.

Our entire front entryway was a dark, stained wood. They carefully sprayed every surface white and it looks brand new. I will absolutely be calling them back to start on our upstairs!
