This time, the work includes autobahn ceramic tinting on the front side windows, a sunstripe for the top of the windshield, and LLumar platinum paint protection film for the hood as well as the front fenders/bumper, headlights & fog lamps. I decided to get my rustproofing and window tint done at Uniglass Ziebart on the recommendation of a family member. Jody, the owner, was friendly and helpful from the start. When I booked my appt, they had a special which included paint protection (a good coat of glossy wax). It was much cheaper than the gimmicky device my dealership was trying to sell me for rustproofing and the cost of their window tint. I have to take my car in to Uniglass Ziebart for annual rustproofing touchup so I have them re-apply the paint protection at the same time. Aside from some very minor surface rust spots, my car looks like brand-new. Every 2 yrs, I get an inner clean service which brings back the 'new car' smell. I've also had the pleasure of dealing with Chrysta who has been really great. The inner clean and paint protection was approx. $270 with tax. Well worth it, in my opinion, especially because I'm going to enjoy car-payment-free months for many years (if I can help it) and this maintenance goes a long way.

I visited this shop for some Spring auto cleaning this past weekend. They were super busy but…read moremanaged to squeeze me in on Friday afternoon. I purchased the $59 package and received internal detailing. This package includes vacuumed carpets and seats, washed floor mats, windexed windows, dashboard and center console wiped down, door panels cleaned and trunk taken care of. Not sure if they did anything to the outside of the vehicle but the inside was spotless. I have two short, course haired dogs who's fur is nearly impossible to remove and to my surprise, I couldn't even find one hair in the vehicle. The process took 2.5 hours and although the customer service is a bit scattered, the job performed was spot on. I will return.

I found Kayden who calls they/them, Stage 3 Auto Tints in Newmarket, a few months ago on Kijiji and…read moreasked them for a price to wrap the front of my 2017 Camaro with less than 5,000 kms. with clear Paint Protection Film (PPF). After sending them pictures they gave me a price of $725 to rap the front of my car, but they could not do it right away because she was waiting for them stock of PPF to come in. After some time, I contacted them again, still no stock but they said if I ordered my own precut kit they could install it much cheaper. I ordered a 3m PPF precut kit from E-bay for $579. Kayden then gave me a new price of $300 to do the install only. They came Aug 17, 2023 to do the install, but claimed this was a bigger job than they had thought and upped thier price to $550, even though I sent them pictures and described what I wanted by text. After many promises about the quality of their work, I reluctantly I agreed. They worked for two half days in my garage, on the installation. I left them mostly alone to work, when I came out to see the finish product, they were in a rush to go another job, They stated that the PPF was not fitted properly and they would need to come back and better trim edges, fix the blemishes caused by dirt particles under the PPF and pop the many air bubbles. After many promises again, that the product would heal as it dries, and they would come back and fix everything. Unfortunately, I still believed them and paid $450 in good faith. As per their instructions I left the car outside in the sun to dry and heal for a few days, but the bubbles remained and the bad trimming did not stretch out or get any better, upon closer inspection there were several small areas on the lower bumper had not been covered with PPF due to poor workmanship. After a number of texts they agreed to come back and fix the job and get their last $100 a week later. During that time, I took my car to "The Detail Shop" a well-known shop in Newmarket, to ask if he could fix the job. He laughed and said that this was the worst rap job he had ever seen and that it would all have to come off and start with new. They came back on Aug 24, 2023 we went through the issues bad trimming, cut to short in some spots, missing pieces and the dirt trapped behind the PPF. Then it became nothing was their fault and the precut PPF was no good, the job took them longer than they thought it would, the conditions in my garage where not right. I told them that I had taken it to a local well-known Detail Shop in town and he had said the job could not be saved. I asked that they return my $450 and that the product be removed. We came to an agreement that they would give me back $200 of my $450 and remove the PPF they had installed. The photos below show the aftermath of my experience, wasted material and scratches in my paint caused by her knife during the install. So, they cost me $579 in wasted material, $450 for their time, and a minimum of $1500 in the devaluation in my car, caused by the scratches left behind in my paint. To add to the insult, they continue to use pictures of my car and videos of their bad install to promote their company on Facebook without my permission. Stay away from Stage 3 Auto Tints and Kayden who does not have the skills to do this work. By the way, I'm still waiting for my $200.
