A Pleasant Dog Thanks to Jenn, the Founder and Head Trainer, I was able to watch and snap some pictures while she and others were training. ⁣ ⁣ This team is so so genuine and passionate about what they do. You can trust this local training program and that your dog will learn in a gentle, modern, scientifically proven way. ⁣ ⁣ We highly recommend A Pleasant Dog to anyone who may need help with their dog's behavior! ⁣ ⁣ Even YOUR dog can be a pleasant dog. ⁣ ⁣ If your dog needs better manners at home or in public, consider checking out their website & making an appointment! ⁣ ⁣

I started coming here when a family member gave me a gift certificate for my birthday. I have been bringing my Australian cattle dog/ Corgi mix for a little over a year for private training sessions. My dog, Arya, loves coming here for classes with Gin B. Arya has grown into a confident, well-behaved young dog.

Great place for dogs to interact. Not the largest location, but still has ample room for dogs to be dogs.

Terrific experience with Jenn! She trains the humans and the dogs with both competence and compassion. Great value for the investment.

Jenn and her team trained us so we know how to help make our boy feel safe and how to respond to his reactivity.

We couldn't be happier with our adoption experience with Pet Tales! I completed an online…read moreapplication and received a call from the rescue within 24 hours. The volunteer asked me to contact my vet's office and give the staff permission to give them information about our care of our dogs and our cat who had recently passed. Once we were approved to adopt, a foster parent called to schedule a meet and greet. The cats were so healthy, well cared for and happy! We adopted a brother and sister who were well bonded. The rescue is entirely foster-based so they don't have a physical location. I had been following a few local rescues on social media as we were interested in getting a second cat. Every day I'd show Nate another set of photos of cute kitties asking if he wanted to meet them! I eventually filled out their adoption application with the idea that we'd be ready if we found a cat we wanted to meet. Once I saw "Kiwi" a little tortie cat I knew I wanted to meet her, so once our application was approved and our vet references checked, we were connected with the foster who set up a time for us to come visit. She gave us all the info about Kiwi who we were approved to adopt, so we went and picked her up a few days later and now we can't imagine our home without her. Thanks, Pet Tales Rescue!

Review for Family Friends Veterinary Hospital…read more Over the years, we've taken a lifetime series of hounds and bulldogs to Family Friends. I've always wondered why they chose the name Family Friends. At first, I assumed it was because pets are members of the family, and the name had a nice ring to it. Over the past few days, I understand it differently. Family Friends are truly friends to our family. It's a large practice with a remarkable staff--every one of them kind, caring, knowledgeable, and professional. Many practices achieve "friendly." Family Friends has created something more: a place where each staff member steps forward like a true friend, without hesitation, and goes the extra mile. That sets them apart. This past week, as we worked to connect with specialty veterinary services for our dog, Family Friends exchanged supportive emails, answered questions, and listened patiently as we tried to talk through tears. They took time with every visit, showed genuine care, and did everything they could to help us move forward. Their kindness has made a very difficult time feel less overwhelming. Friends are awesome; friends who also know what they are doing--each and every one of them--are deeply appreciated. We do not yet know the outcome for our dog. What we do know is that, whatever lies ahead, we have been supported by wonderful people, and their care has meant a great deal to our small family of two people and two dogs. Family Friends has lived up to its name in ways we never expected. - Carol G.

They take the time to explain things clearly, offer practical advice for care at home, and never push unnecessary services. Their urgent care hours have also been an incredible help to our family.
