I told her I have been cutting it myself, just buzzing it down to 3/8 inch. She told me she knew what a layer cut is, but as it turns out, I just paid $25 to get my bangs evened up. My hair is still at 4 inches long on top--or longer, and 2 inches long on the sides. She kept asking me to comb it or "play" with it to show her how I wear it. I told her I don't play with my hair. I wash it then comb it straight back and let it dry. It parts itself where it wants to. She couldn't get the concept of a guy just wanting his hair short enough, and in a style, that he doesn't have to screw with it all the time. As soon as I'm done with this review, I'll give myself a proper haircut--for free.
