Great place for a quick and great haircut! My 20 year old son was in dire need of a hair cut as Covid has closed hair salons since March. Recently opened, we took advantage and came to try this place. The owner (sorry didn't get his name) was fast yet precise. Even better is the price. $16.00 can't beat that! Its a a wonderful place. Mary is very friendly and personable. She has cut my hair for many years. She does what you ask of her without a second glance. I would recommend Mary (Five Star) rating although the last time I visited the shop I new Mary was off that day. The man and woman working were extremely difficult and rude to me after waiting for fifteen minutes (which wasn't the problem) I asked both of them If I could face the mirror while they cut my hair considering they have never done it before. They both replied...."NO". "No, I've never cut hair like that". Considering They never cut my hair before I thought it was a fair request. My reply was " If you do something wrong, you can't glue it back". I guess they didn't think was a regular and could care less. Anyway, I gave up and left. Still wishing them a good day. Went here while visiting. This is a great and clean business. It is tucked behind some other business so it was a little hard to find. Don did a great job with my beard and my hair. Don was very friendly and full of joy. I walked in and was able to sit right away. Very affordable and knowledgeable. Don has been a barber for over 30 years and knows what he is doing. I have never had a bad haircut at Another Barber Shop. Don is one of the best barbers I've encountered, and I am a retired Naval Officer that has moved from state to state, country to country, ship to ship, and Don is one of the best. I've now let my hair grow a little longer, but occasionally ask for a shorter cut (summer), and Don always comes through for me with the perfect cut. I really like this place! I went in for a haircut and was asked how I would like it cut. Being former military I still prefer a high and tight. During the cut, Mary and I were talking and I told her about a barber I used to use overseas that used a straight edge razor to cut my hair and how much I liked it. She said, "I can do that!". She got her razor, changed the blade in front of me with a new one and proceeded to shave the sides and back with hot lather. It was perfect! I will certainly be going back and recommending this place.......It's not just 'Another Barber Shop'. read more

I arrived to a note on the door saying "out to lunch" no problem,there was a number on the door so i called. I was greeted with "whos this?" After i found out he'd be back in 25 minutes I went and had a delicious lunch at the Desert Flour. Magical time arrives and I show the "barber" a picture said he couldn't do it. Really? Took the opportunity to get an overdue Sat. AM haircut while on a month long tour of the western and southwestern US. Great experience. The barber was an older gent who only works Saturday's in his daughter's barber shop. She likes to go hunting and fishing on Saturday, so he fills in. He is a retired career Navy man who cut Richard Nixon's hair on an aircraft carrier in Manila Bay back in 1956 when the Nixon's were visiting. Great old style barber shop.
