They worked long hours, around different weather conditions, including a hail storm, and successfully repaired, replaced and lined the sewer pipes with an epoxy liner. This liner ran from the house, under the yard, and almost under the full width of the paved road, to the saddle of the connection with the city's sewer. This is what they had to work with. A 50+ year old sewer system, made up of 4 types of cracked pipes, including one type of piping that was build out of tarpaper and covered with chicken wire, which was collapsing. There were a number of roots invading the pipes, including one tree root ball that was under the paved road. It was big and like cement. It was located where it was still my responsibility. The city's sewer connection was at almost the opposite end of the full width of the road. And that is where the largest root ball was located. They replaced pipes on my property and removed the large root balls, that were under the paved road. My next option would have been to get permits, have the street closed, hire flagperson(s), the paved road ripped up, excavation of a deep trench, replacement of the pipes, backfilling the trench and repaved over. Because of the technology used by LiquidRock Sewer Lining. I did not have to go to this extreme, expensive, option."

That comes out to $10.82 per minute! NOTE: They will charge $99 just to come out. The work was completed satisfactorily, but I felt the price was excessive for the scope of the job. I recommend getting a "written" quote before authorizing any work, keeping in mind you will pay $99 even if they don't do anything. They did give us a $93 credit for being a veteran, which we appreciate, but they are too expensive for our budget.

He said the job would require removing the hot water heater and wanted $800 to take out and put back in. Discussion was if that was necessary, perhaps a new water heater would be warranted. Aaron the plumber said he needed a tool to work on repairing the water leak and that he would pick up a new water heater then. When I discovered he did not acutally need to remove the old one, he wanted $525 to restock the picked up one. He also had Ecodry come over and do a free estimate to remediate and repair damage done by the plumber, etc. He estimate $4000 for this. I had another company come over and found remediation is not needed and the repair is only $120. I believe this plumbing company is quilty of fraud and elder abuse.
