After walking around wal mart and even walking to Lowe's we came back at 1 and it was still not finished. An oil change and a light being fixed. This was when I was notified that they stripped the plug on the oil change. This took over 2 hours. I now have lost all plans for my day to camp out in the auto parts waiting room. I was told under a half hour when I showed up! Will not be returning.

No one was in front of me when I bought it in, so I was first in line and the service tech said: "We will get it right in." I had over $100.00 worth of groceries, many perishables, I asked the manager why it was taking so long - he said: "I don't know - I will check!" The tech working on my car was right in front of the viewing window! He was slow as I have ever seen! He kept putting his gloves on and off, changing his baseball cap with a hard hat and even took a break in the middle of changing my oil! Again I complained and the manager went to talk to him. Finally, after over an hour my car was done. The manager told me to go outside, meet the tech, get my keys and be on my way, which would be faster since I had already been detained too long. When I approached the tech for my keys - he angrily demanded that I show him a receipt! I said that I was fed up with the service, that he was way too slow and he had seen me waiting! I told him again to give me my keys! He refused and I said: " Get inside and let's talk with your manager - I am fed up!" Upon entering he towered over me, made a fist and a very threatening face! I told him to go ahead and hit me, as I would sue Walmart and there were plenty of witnesses in the waiting room! The manager told him to give me my keys and I left, very stressed out! Upon getting home I checked my oil level, as I was not trusting the angry service tech and found that he had overfilled my oil by over 3/4! I contacted Walmart Corp. They had the Service Manager call me an apologize and offer to redo my oil change. I asked about the tech who had threatened me and was told that the manager would be discussing the issue with the store manager! I told him that I did not feel safe for myself, or my car with that employee being around me! I never heard back from him. I complained to Corp. and a security employee called and left a voicemail - I responded, but have not heard back since! I suffer from anxiety and am very reluctant to return there when the person who threatened me is still there. Overfilling oil can damage your engine! I will never go to Walmart Auto Center again and suggest everyone check your oil after going there! My next step is to file a small claims suit against them for a return of my payment and damages as well as emotional stress and punitive damages!

After…read moreunlocking the breaks and telling me I needed new cv joints he charged me 120$ had to buy parts for 300$ and have him replace joints for 200$+...after he was finished he tells me he test drove the car when I have him on camera clearing not even leaving the driveway, he gets out and looks at the passenger tire and leaves telling me it was all good, I told him it wasn't he tried covering up the fact he knew it was bad...he shows up that night looking over my car for almost an hour and tells me it's the front differential on my 2006 nissan altima and it would cost me about 800$ for him to replace it and it would take about a week. Its been a week and after very little communication on his part (not responding to my texts) i decided to get it towed to a mechanic and they tell me my transmission is bad and it needs to be completely replaced. The cv joints probably didnt need to be replaced but oh well i guess. Im now out 700$ because of him and still nothing is fixed. Oh and by the way there is no front differential on my car that can replaced without replacing the whole transmission. If your gonna hire him take all that in mind.

We wanted them to match, turns out one wasn't broken and was plain glass. We were referred to American glass and we are so pleased with the job and the customer service. Only had to do 3 panes because the remaining pane was also plain glass. The other 3 were wavy glass, old. The estimator who came out pointed out the remaining glass was plain and not wavy. We hadn't noticed but appreciated the honesty. From the first call to American Glass to the set up of the installation were all perfect. The install even came 3 days earlier than expected. Communication was great. Caulking was very sloppy, it's an old house(summer cottage) so I guess they figured who cares. We do though.

It took a few more weeks for them to get the correct materials , I requested a discount for my trouble and they told me the best they could do is offer me a 10% discount on my next purchase, based on my experience I said that I will not go with them for future needs and they said they would have the owner call me, it's been several weeks and I never heard back. The girls in the office were great but I can't say the same for the owner very poor customer service.

Appointments were canceled without any communication or courtesy call, and trying to reach someone at the local office was nearly impossible because no one answers the phone. Everything is automated, which would be fine if it actually worked properly. Even the online system was incompetent and repeatedly failed to recognize that my vehicle was not an EV. After finally getting someone out to complete the service, the problems continued. The technician's work was clearly not done correctly, and now I have to bring my car back in for recalibration. To make matters worse, every employee seems to give a different explanation, so there is zero consistency or accountability. I specifically scheduled a Saturday appointment because I work 60 hours a week and cannot easily miss work. Instead, this entire situation has now taken over my Monday as well because of Safelite's mistakes and lack of communication. The complete lack of organization, communication, and competence throughout this process has been unbelievable. Safelite seriously needs to get it together.
