Hi. I helped plan the Hellgate High School Class of 1992 Reunion, and we worked with Bravo Catering…read moreon our main reunion dinner/event at Caras Park. I gotta tell you: Ryan Boehme and Bravo Catering were awesome. Some of the highlights: Ryan was really flexible and easy to work with when it came to coming up with a menu that fit our goal. We needed to have a specific price per person that included the rentals of silverware, water glasses, plates, and table cloths and napkins. In the end, we came up with a reasonable price that didn't break anybody's bank to have dinner down at Caras Park. The food was excellent. Whenever you plan a big event like this, you rarely get a chance to sit down and eat, but I did. The grilled chicken breast was tender. The barbeque sauce was obviously homemade, Bravo cooks all their food on the spot, so it's fresh and hasn't been sitting in holding bins for hours on end. When I showed up, his chefs were just finishing up grilling vegetables (he cooks everything on the spot in two mobile catering trucks that are basically full scale restaurant kitchens) for 140 people, and the vegetables were seriously tasty. Ryan had an excellent vegetarian lasagne prepared for our vegetarian guests, and my wife told me it was one of the best homemade lasagnes she's ever had. The garden salad was excellent. It was full of tasty summer greens and fresh vegetables, and there was more than enough to go around. The dressings were all homemade, and my buddy told me that the huckleberry dressing was the best dressing he'd ever had. Ryan was also flexible when it came to letting us bring in our own Costco cake. A lot of caterers would require that you buy a cake from them, but he had no problem with us taking care of that ourselves. When I asked him if we should do a coffee service, he didn't try to sell me up for a bunch of extra stuff. He told me that it would be a waste of money and to not worry about it. There were too many good things to remember about Bravo Catering. The next time we have a shindig, we're hiring them to handle our business. It's really what they do best.

Here is what they did really well: 1. The food was excellent 2. They were professional and courteous 3. They were there well in advance and everything was served hot and fresh 4. Did I mention the food was absolutely amazing? (pulled pork tacos as an appetizer is truly one of the best things I have ever eaten) Thank you so much for making our event incredible.

I had the good fortune to attend a few different events catered by Riversong Gourmet last year,…read moreincluding: * an art opening in a private home gallery, * an outdoor harvest celebration and wine tasting on a Montana organic farm, and * a wine tasting / pairing dinner in the Tiny Event Space. Their culinary creations are rooted in organic local ingredients and unleash joy with every bite. The chef and staff bring creative energy and professionalism to every event, large or small. The private art opening featured a pork belly bruschetta with a roasted tomato jam which was so good I still think about it. The baked pecorino baskets with squash and chanterelle mushrooms were so beautiful and delicious. I've never seen anything quite like it. The wine pairing dinner featured a lamb pasta with a deep green nettles sauce that remains a beautiful delicious mystery to me. I thought nettles were weeds! The outdoor dinner on an organic farm in the Bitterroot included a Montana surprise: a cold rainstorm! The wines were fantastic and the food was so delicious it distracted me and I only remembered to take a few pictures. My friends and I were glad the rain didn't chase us away. We're all foodies and we agreed that this was one of the best meals we had all year.

Ashley was responsive and easy to work with and she answered all my questions during the planning phases. She made it simple to choose the type of bar and drink menu and let us put together signature drinks which made the event even more fun! The bartenders during the reception were professional, fun, and everyone loved the drinks they poured. They showed up on time and left a clean and neat area after the event. I highly recommend the Badlander for wedding receptions or other large events. They're the best!

We utilized this company for our wedding and it was a generally mediocre experience. We had…read moremultiple phone meetings with Ashley of which it was clear notes were not being taken because we made multiple corrections back and forth over e-mail to the service quote. We also requested some NA options of which were ordered seven days before our wedding and three days before we were told they were no longer available from the distributor, which lead to scrambling as our signage was already complete. When the bartenders arrived on location, it was clear that almost no direction had been given to them from our meetings with Ashley. They took advise from anyone who wanted to help and did not listen to the day of coordinator. Additionally, we requested several things with the service - three specialty drinks and no tip jars as my spouse and I would handle any additional gratuity (their base built into the quote is 18%). One of the specialty drinks was a basic lime margarita - it was undrinkable. We attempted to assist with modifications - still disgusting. Tip jars were also set out. As drinks were brought to us, it was not noticed by my spouse or I until the end of the night. When we confronted management, we were directed to Scott MacIntyre, who was just rude and had no accountability for the mismanagement. We were told it was our responsibility to tell the bartenders to remove the tip jars and how to make the drinks. Save yourself the trouble if you are going to utilize this company for a wedding - get a traveling bartender so you can order what you want and not pay $$$ for mediocre experience.

We couldn't have been happier with the catering for our son's rehearsal dinner and welcome party…read moreover Memorial Day weekend. The Korean BBQ menu was a huge hit and offered something for everyone, spanning a wide range of tastes and generations. Walker was incredibly flexible in helping us select the perfect menu and was exceptionally easy to work with, even while we were coordinating everything from another state. The food was outstanding--the mashed potatoes were absolutely delicious, the charcuterie spread was both beautiful and incredibly tasty, and we received numerous compliments about how perfectly the beef was cooked. Everything was displayed beautifully, and the entire experience--from delivery and setup to service and cleanup--was seamless. The staff was lovely, professional, and attentive throughout the event. We received so many compliments from our guests and are grateful for the role Walker and his team played in making the celebration so special. We would highly recommend them for any event!

I was also somewhat surprised (maybe…read moreunfairly) to find out that the food here is just as good as any food truck I've eaten at, which includes several in Austin and Portland. I ordered 3 tacos (chicken, pork and black bean). I believe each came with cilantro, onion and Cotija cheese. The tortillas were slightly pan fried, which was different, but I actually ended up really enjoying the crunchy texture. Ingredients for the menu - and menu items - change based on the season. What doesn't change is that the prices are all very reasonable. 3 tacos was more than enough food, and it was only $9. To make things even better, it's right next to Draught Brewery so you can place your order, go grab some beers, wait for them to text you, walk over to grab your food and then take it back in the brewery. What's not to love about that? Very happy I ate here, and more than happy to recommend it to anyone else passing through!
