I moved from Boston to Florida 11 months ago. When my car was shipped, I noticed a tear in the…read moreleather driver's seat of my Mustang. It was left by the driver who delivered my car. (He kept a pen in his back pocket.) The transport company was wonderful and said that they would take care of repairing the seat when I found an upholsterer down here in Southeast Florida. It took me TEN MONTHS to find a company that would undertake the project. Business owners gave me many reasons why they would not do the work, usually related to the perforations and unique pattern of the seat. One company told me that they would need to reupholster BOTH seats to match and quoted a price upwards of $2500. Other companies agreed to do the work and then 'ghosted' me. They never got back to me about scheduling, and when I called them, they were nowhere to be found. I FINALLY was lucky and came in contact with BAHAMAS UPHOLSTERY in Boca Raton. William was friendly, knowledgeable and willing to do the work for a fair price. He took care of dealing with the transport company so that he could get paid, order materials and schedule the work. William remained in contact with me throughout the process. The job took less than six hours. I dropped off the car and picked it up on the same day. When I first saw the repaired seat, my eyes welled up with tears. The craftsmanship was exquisite! I couldn't even tell there was ever a tear in the leather. This company also went above and beyond by fixing a stain that "I" was unable to get out without ruining the passenger seat. They took care of BOTH seats and I am satisfied beyond belief. William is an artist and a decent, honest business owner. I cannot recommend Bahamas Upholstery enough. Trust this company if you treasure your vehicle the way I treasure mine. John is dedicated to his work and his wife is at his side at all times. They did the tea top on my boat and when I wasn't happy with it, they took it off and made another one. They also made an enclosure on my boat that's called a phone booth. It protects from the water spray as you drive the boat and they did a fantastic job attention to every detail that's John.
