Loved this spot! Cute, great outdoor seating, and the line moves quickly. We loved their biscuit breakfast sandwiches and would come back just for that.

I rarely leave negative reviews, especially when the customer service was good overall. Unfortunately, the quality of the food and drinks did not match the reputation of this cafe. The coffee was extremely disappointing. It tasted like someone rinsed out the coffee pot and poured that into my cup. The latte wasn't much better, an easy way to put it would be watered down milk. The sandwich was also disappointing. While the price was reasonable, the preparation was careless. The egg and cheese sandwich consisted of a little more than a slice of American cheese placed on the bread. They didn't event take the time to melt it. For a cafe with such a strong reputation, I expected much better, and I probably could've gotten better at a local gas station. Overall, while I appreciated the good customer service, the food and beverages fell far below expectations. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this place.

Omg, the best thing to happen to Wildwood since the Morey's allowed alcohol sales on the boards. This is the some high-end quality sh!t. Food is scratch-made and out of this world.

Iced cinnamon dirty chai

Friendly staff, cute atmosphere, love that they have a little doggy station for your furry friends. However, I wasn't a fan of the coffees I've gotten. First time I got a iced black coffee and that was just ok! Wasn't anything to write home about but it was just black coffee so I decided to go out of my comfort zone and order something different... BIG mistake. I ordered a iced cinnamon dirty chai... (I've had this at other coffee shops so I knew what to expect) BUT at the little cafe I was given a literal cup of milk with no cinnamon in sight. I was even hesitant to take it from the girl when she called my name because of the way it looked... it wasn't good at all. I ended up going home and brewing my own coffee to add to cup of milk I paid for. My advice is be vocal and tell them EXACTLY how you want / expect your coffee otherwise you might leave disappointed...

Best egg sammie!

OMG- best egg sandwich I've had in a long time!!! They don't advertise that they have the multi grain bread but they do! I got the egg sammie on toast, with sharp american cheese, bacon, and egg over medium. It was prepared perfectly. Wrapped in foil to keep warm and easy to eat. Odd that they didn't cut it in half but I ate it so quickly anyway. My latte was good. I couldn't taste the caramel so they gladly put more in. This place had a few people at 10am on a Saturday. We sat inside and ate our breakfast as the place quickly filled up. Service was friendly. They play upbeat music and the decor is super cute. Putting it in the rotation for all future visits to Wildwood Crest!

This was a great find of a breakfast spot! I'm sure their lunch options are also great but we were there for breakfast. Super cute place, friendly and attentive staff! Had scrambled egg, bacon, avocado on a biscuit- so well made!! Bacon was cooked perfectly and it was also so neatly made where it didn't fall apart! Definitely would be a go to spot for me!

Totally a five star. We have been here over a dozen times this summer and so happy each visit. Gluten free absolutely no problem as they have GF bread. The food is beyond delicious and fresh. The smoothies and iced coffee is my new addiction. Breakfast sandwiches have been our daily take out. The staff is hardworking and friendly. It's just a welcome place.

Our go to breakfast spot every time we're at the shore. Steak and egg sandwich and the sunrise wrap are both phenomenal.

The Coffee House at the Grand

The Coffee House at the Grand: Coffee in the Theoretical Sense…read more There are places that serve coffee, places that understand coffee, and places that appear to have received a brief description of coffee from a passing stranger and decided they had enough information to proceed. The Coffee House at the Grand, unfortunately, landed somewhere in the third category during my visit. The coffee itself was subpar. Calling it weak would be generous. "Brown water" is perhaps less diplomatic, but considerably more accurate. It had the colour of coffee, occupied the appropriate sort of cup, and was apparently introduced to a coffee bean at some point in its journey, but flavour seemed to have missed the appointment entirely. A proper cup of coffee ought to have some character. It needn't leap onto the table and recite poetry, but one reasonably expects aroma, depth, richness, or at least some evidence that the beans had ambitions. This had none of those things. It was warm, brown, and liquid, which technically places it within shouting distance of coffee, but only in the same way that a puddle is within shouting distance of a swimming pool. The service did little to rescue matters. The atmosphere struck me as unfriendly, and the interaction lacked the professionalism one expects from a place trading on the appearance and vocabulary of a proper coffee house. There is no requirement that staff perform Broadway numbers while handing over a cappuccino, of course, but a little warmth, attentiveness, and basic hospitality are not extravagant demands. They are rather the point. That was perhaps the strangest part of the experience: the whole place felt less like a coffee house and more like an impersonation of one. The visual cues are there. The name is there. The equipment is presumably there. One half expects the next step to involve excellent coffee and pleasant service. Instead, the performance stops just before the important bits. It reminded me of building a pub, hanging a Guinness sign outside, installing a magnificent wooden bar, polishing every glass until it shines, and then serving everyone lukewarm tap water while looking mildly inconvenienced that they came in. There is enormous potential here because the concept itself works. A coffee house at a grand property should feel inviting. It should be the sort of place where one settles in for ten minutes and accidentally stays for forty. Coffee should smell like coffee before it reaches the table, taste like someone cared about making it, and be served by people who understand that hospitality is part of what the customer is purchasing. Instead, my experience was remarkably forgettable, except for the unfortunate fact that it was memorable for all the wrong reasons. Perhaps I caught them on an off day. Every business is entitled to one. But based on this visit, the Coffee House at the Grand needs rather less attention paid to looking like a coffee shop and considerably more attention paid to being one. At present, the coffee is brown water with excellent public relations.

We visited Beach Plum Farm before heading back home from Cape May. It is a beautiful tucked away…read morespot where you can wander around the grounds. They have gorgeous flowers, a trail to peek in on the pigs, chickens to feed, and of course a cute shop where you can buy all sorts of fresh farm market finds. We ordered breakfast from the little stand in the back and sat at one of the picnic benches. The menu is certainly limited, so if you have a picky eater it might be hard for them to find something. My kiddos and I all ordered the sausage, egg, and cheese on a brioche bun - but made different ways. The woman who took my order was very kind and patient as I requested no egg on one and no cheese on the other. The sandwich was very delicious and fresh. They were also able to make scrambled eggs for my niece which was much appreciated! The strawberry lemonade was a huge hit, and I enjoyed my cold brew as well. As stated by other reviewers it does get to be pretty pricey at $14 a pop per sandwich. But it was certainly a relaxing way to end our Cape May vacation.
