I like this dance studio. My daughter takes dance lessons here and loves the classes, the studio,…read morethe dances, and the instructors. My daughter is on her second year here. It has built her confidence by giving her accomplishments that she can show us. They have found her strengths and let her be strong with them. They have found her weaknesses and made them better and taught her not to be afraid of them. This last weekend (early November), there was a two hour free dance night in exchange for a good drive. My son went to the free night with my daughter. He didn't really want to go, but when we showed up to watch what he learned, my son was excited and had a great time. When he left, he was hugging the instructors and telling them thank you. I can say that it can seem hectic when it is time to drop off and pick up. It is a busy place with a small-medium waiting area. But, I will also say that once you come here, you'll learn the rhythm and realize that there is an order to it all. Over all if you are looking for. Dance studio, give them a try!

I signed my daughter up for a trial class back in April and never was told to try to sign up for…read moreanother trial class again in the summer because the spring course was already halfway through. So I called to schedule the trial for this past Monday (20$). We got to the class about 10 minutes early as the employee on the phone stated that they would give me a tour. We got there and the girl at the front desk seemed clueless and really wasn't helpful at answering any questions. Then, two teachers came out at the same time for two different classes, which made it very confusing for the amount of adults and children that were in the waiting area. As we did not get a tour, I was unaware that there was no seating area for the parents to watch their children as my child is just about to turn three and was in the 3 to 4 year-old moving class. So, they all lined up at the entry door and started marching towards the classroom. At that point I realize that parents were not allowed and children began yelling and crying, and my daughter got very nervous. So I then followed them to the room where they closed the door and there was kids left crying on the floor and teachers, grabbing children to carry them back into the room. Me and another mom were not happy about this experience as it was not presented to us before we signed our children up for this class. They need to better prepare the parents that this class the children have to go in alone for 45 minutes without seeing their parents. I then proceeded to go down the hallway to take a peek through the blackout glass to see how my daughter was doing and got told by one of the ladies working there that I needed to leave because the children can see me. I'm sorry, but I'm not going to leave when my daughter is nervous and there are girl crying on the floor for their moms. Plus, she was not prepared that she would be without me for this class. So, 45 min later, the children walked out and we were not told anything about the class. My daughter came out and started crying. How do you expect a three year-old to tell you whether or not they enjoy the class and what they did? So, my husband went up to the front desk and asked questions as to if the teacher had any feedback or what the next steps were and again the front desk was clueless and had nothing to. I feel as though this experience was very unwelcoming and unprofessional, and I will not be going back nor do I recommend children ages 3 to 5 to come here.

I never would've thought that Latin dancing was a workout but MAN WAS IT A WORKOUT lol. A good workout though, nothing too strenuous or anything we couldn't handle. Our instructor was patient with us and didn't mind telling us the same thing once or twice...maybe three times. I definitely recommend buying the Groupon first and seeing how well you like it. It's worth it and lots of fun!

Not sure who would give this place a horrible review! We totally came here because of a Groupon…read more And we definitely got enough lessons from the 3 session. But really we knew off hand that no way a groupon was going to give us the wedding dance we needed. Basically the groupon is for you to get a field of what the studio offers as far as wants and needs. Our dance instructor was Todd and he was fantastic! He worked with us with our wants and needs and he managed to create the most beautiful first dance for us. Even listen to our wedding song, and advise the DJ to slow the tempo. Really without him, our first dance would not have looked majestic as it did. Dancing is not easy, Todd made us look like rockstars though! LOL All our guests were so impress! The dance package was not cheap but it was so worth it! We not only paid for lessons but we did get a good workout out of it! Cant thank Todd enough! Best decision we made for our wedding. We recommend you spend the money, cause 3 lesson is not enough. And 1-1 lesson is better than going off YouTube, cause if you have no background in dance you are going to struggle, unless your some kind of dance prodigy. Worth every penny spent! Thanks again Todd!

Let me start off by saying I have *previewed* this establishment during a Yelp Elite event earlier…read morethis week. But they impressed me. I think they are geographically and conceptually positioned to do well. Pronounced "three one seven", their street dance academy is the only dance studio in Indy whose concentration is the art of breakdance. They offer classes for 5-years-olds on up through adults of all ages (our lead instructor told us they recently taught a 70-something yr old). It's not only fun and interesting, it's fantastic exercise. The moves definitely work your core muscles. I would imagine in a more traditional class as opposed to our quicker demo, that it's a full-body and cardio workout, improving both strength and endurance/stamina. Our lead instructor "Seoul" taught us some basics. He's smart, charismatic and has a laid-back style that dispels self-consciousness by the class. We explored Toprock footwork, Freezes, and some mechanics of Powermoves. There's a lot physics that goes into to this dance form, which Seoul pointed out. He also brought a cultural context to a lot of what we were doing. I was impressed that they had 5 staff at our evening event, which ran 8-9:30p. After we guests were asked to show what we'd learned by putting it all together, the four dance instructors each brought signature moves to the floor. Breakdancing can be broken down into Breakin' and Popping, and one instructor, "Nimbus", was particularly skilled at the latter. They also have an awesome DJ. They're running half-day kids camps for 2 weeks in June. The weeks are divided by age group, so DEFINITELY check out their website for the deets. If your kids like Wii and Fortnite dancing this is the real deal. What a fantastic way to get our kiddos off their devices and into some healthy exercise, as well as expose them to something they're too young to have experienced the first time. For those of us old enough to remember breakdance as a cultural experience and unique art form, now's your chance to not let it pass you by again ;)

The space is so vibrant and fun with graffiti art along the walls and the music is so fun! Loud and makes you want to do more than just tap your foot! Great for exercise for kids because they don't know that they are exercising, great for confidence because these are moves not everyone knows, and great for fun because who doesn't love to watch people spin on their heads?! Even my three year old wants to sign up... Check out their website! Unique classes for kids for sure! - And we have Seoul as our teacher and HE IS AMAZING! Great energy and great with the kids! I love places where they great you and your kids by name when you walk in!
