(...all except for the french fries, perhaps, that came with my wife's plate. For some reason, fries are ubiquitous in Barcelona!) The mojitos here were every bit as good as Victor's (on 52nd St. in NYC), which I still consider the best I've ever had... so that's saying something! My wife's "Limonada Natural" took quite an interesting twist on a classic, by blending in a slurry of fresh mint. So much so, that it more closely resembled a green smoothie than anything else, but it was truly refreshing! We ran out of room (and time, as we were hustling to go to a movie) but next time, we're going to slam the baklava. It looked irresistible! So yeah... we'll be back!

Iberian Pork Ribs with Pico de Gallo - this was the standout dish we ordered. Spain knows how to do pork. These ribs are so tender, the meat just slid off off the bone, which makes placing it on the tortillas easy. Topped with pico de gallo and a red wine reduction, these made some tasty tacos. Highly recommended. Rigatoni with Truffle and Parmesan - more buttery than creamy, if you need an Italian fix, this is a good idea. Pan Fried Sardines with a side of Catalan Tomato Bread - I can't remember if I ordered the tomato bread separately, but I used it to put the sardines on for sure and that was a winning combination. Had to remove the heads and I fought with filleting them a little, although the bones are soft and can be eaten. Fresh Sardines and Anchovies in Europe are way different than the US, and should be ordered when traveling. Shrimp and Rice - I made an assumption that this would be Spanish, and was surprised that it was an Asian Stir Fry. It was ok, but I was expecting some kind of paella. Skip it. Cheesecake - While waiting for the food we were staring at this cheesecake with a beautiful Basque burnt top to it. Turned out to be a hybrid, with more of a NY style texture. Not sure why they hid that great top with berry sauce when plating it, but it was still tasty.

The high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows keep the dining room open and spacious. The tapas menu had a good selection, and we decided on several items: pan con tomate, sweet potato rolls, chicken cannelloni, bacon-wrapped figs, croquettes, falafel, and a charcuterie board. All the tapas were great - my favorites were the chicken cannelloni, pan con tomate, and the charcuterie board. The cannelloni especially was a standout - definitely a unique dish, and the chicken was super flavorful. We opted for dessert, and got the feta whip cheesecake - this was great as well. The combination of tang and sweet was a good finisher to our meal. Service was great - everyone was friendly and our dishes were served at a good pace.
