Todd came out to go over all my options and took measurements and gave suggestions and we also picked our fabric and color and gave us everything we needed for our condo association to approve installation. There office kept us informed every step of the way ,when awning was shipped ,when they received it and gave us a choice on dates to install. The whole process prob took about 4 weeks and installation took about 4 hrs!there installer was very knowledgeable and cleaned up afterwards you wouldn't know anyone was there, he also showed us how to operate remote!Nice awning,job and service! DL Gibson was prob a little more money overall but you get what you pay for! I would recommend them to anyone needing an awning

I now recall telling him the check had my old address. A few days later after hearing a potential job opportunity fell through I called a canceled explaining my situation. He knew a bunch for our initial meeting. They said fine they would mail me a check. Two weeks go by. No check. So I inquired and was told it was mailed out the day after I called. Long story short. They mailed to address on check. Charged me $30 to cancel check. Picked up the registered mail cost. Might nice of them considering it was all their fault. This review would not exist if they covered the cost of the cancelled check. When I have my awning installed I will use a more competent contractor.

Everyone I've spoken to along the way has…read morebeen professional, courteous, knowledgable, punctual, and forthcoming, from the folks who answer the phones to the sales rep to the installers. Really, everyone was a pleasure to work with. We called, they answered, and we got an appointment promptly and smoothly. Our experience then continued with Chris Burton, who answered all of our questions and was very communicative. He gave us a price for our two bow windows that was less than the other local company we got a quote from, and with a better warranty, and he seemed a lot more invested in our business than the other guy. We ended up asking them to do two bow windows, an additional five bedroom windows, and our back door, which was falling apart. Mike came out to measure and he was right on the dot, time wise. Their estimated lead time of ten weeks or so was about right, and then Mike and his team (Travis, Cash) came out to do the install, which they completed in a few days. The windows look great! And they seem quieter and way more insulating than the old ones. Hopefully they stay that way for a long time. My only minor complaints are that the guys trampled my flowers a bit and also gave us bow windows that are "deeper" than our old ones (they stick out past where the old ones ended). As long as they don't fall out or put strain on my house, though, I'm actually kind of enjoying the deeper window because I can fit more houseplants there. It does look a bit funny though (see photos). Also, we opted to stain the wood trim around the windows and the guys were kind enough to install the wood, wait till we'd stained the pieces, then come back to do the last bit of caulking. My dad told me, "If you already paid them, they're not coming back," but he's apparently never worked with a company like Thermal! Also, Danielle, their scheduler, was very responsive and fun to chat with. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for an honest company with good prices.

Jim was not out to con me or sell me the next best thing. He gave me options on how I could save money. The guys came in and installed windows and cleaned the mess. Felt very comfortable with leaving them to do the work and go to the beach. I highly recommend them!!!!! Ad my dad would say "This company is Top Notch!!!"

I live in a very well to do neighborhood and unfortunately, these guys will look up house values and charge accordingly so while some neighborhoods will get $10k decks, not mine. If I was living in DC suburbs then they'd charge us $50k for the deck. I got the PVC Aztek material with metal posts. The guys did the job in 2 days. I was worried when I saw scuffs on my new deck the day after install, but Luke came to buff them out. With Aztek, you have to be very careful about scratching the deck with furniture so I've yet to put anything on my deck! We rarely eat out there anyways. We're not outdoorsy people.
