The owners are honest, trustworthy people that offer excellent service at competitive prices. They have been accommodating of my schedule and have frequently provided me with rides to home or work. As honest as they come. I came in and said hello to the resident garage dog, then asked the people behind the counter about fixing my car's headlights. I was quite concerned I had an electrical issue since both bulbs were out. I know nothing about cars and was already anxious about how much this was going to run me. I know so little about cars that they could have told me anything and charged me anything. Instead, they told me the bulbs were just out and I was out the door for $72. I have no issue with the labor part of the bill, but for well over $2k emissions and a tie rod end and alignment. I have a HUGE issue with the woman in the office and her prices of parts charged, 50% mark up over Napa retail costs on all the parts and few over the cost of dealer items. She also told my daughter that she pays more for parts then a walk in customer because she has extra warranties . 100% UN TRUE. Brian does good work. Sandy is the numbers juggler. Oh and the 10% off on their web site was never honored No piece of mind after this, couldn't even make me feel good by getting taken LOL read more

Came here today to get an alignment. I also needed wiper blades. I got everything done while I waited for a great price. Sandy (the owner) kept me informed as to what was going on with my car and the steps that were being taken to fix it. They gave me an estimate for some other services that I asked about. It was almost $400 less than another place. Also in the waiting room was the owners dog Molly. She was very sweet and added to my love for this place! Thank you for fixing my car!! read more

These guys are horrible. They're close by the house, so I have tried them twice. Thinking the first time was a fluke. My car was in for something else, and they told me the radiator was leaking and wanted $350 to replace it. I have some mechanical experience so when I asked where was it leaking from (top, bottom, middle)? The guy says all over, that didn't seem like a good answer to me. I decided against having them do it, and took it home to do it myself and actually took out the radiator and filled with water, came back and its not leaking at all. Worked fine for another 3-4 years till we sold the car. Another time a friend wanted to put on his summer wheels on and we stopped this place to do it quickly, because Discount Tire across the street had a long wait. They charged $35 bucks, and then when we left, suddenly the rear brakes were making noise. They were fine when we drove there. When we came back, he says its need to be cleaned and adjusted and he would have to charge us for it. I thought it was ridiculous that the car was perfectly fine when we came, how could it all of a sudden be causing a problem. He wanted $65 bucks to do an 'adjustment' and it was done within a matter of minutes. I wouldn't be surprised if they screw up things on people cars so they can create work for themselves to fix it. I feel bad for the other people on here who gave positive reviews, they're probably getting ripped off and don't even know it. Go elsewhere. read more

A mechanic shop you can trust! Brian (the owner) was highly recommended by a co-worker who described him as knowledgeable and fairly priced. Since then I've used their services several times on my older car. They are outstanding! They went out of their way to find me the best used part I could afford (the new part was offered and available, I chose to go with a used part.) I wouldn't recommend this place. I have dealt with them a few times and never had a positive experience. Once they told me my radiator was leaking, when I asked where from they said "All over". I was quoted $350 to replace the radiator. I took the car home and found out there was nothing wrong with the radiator and in fact just the hoses needed to be changed. STAY AWAY. read more

I took a car here for inspection because the car had a rebuilt title and i was skeptical about buying. The carfax check showed the car was totaled out this year in an accident involving the vehicle being rear ended, no flood damage luckily. I could tell these guys were honest from the second i brought it in because i mentioned it had a rebuilt title and I could see their skepticism right away. This is a good thing though, even though it would have been disappointing to be told the car i really liked and wanted had a major defect, that's exactly the reason i brought it in. I had to make sure everything was legitimate with my lucky gem of a find. Well the inspection lasted about an hr and I didn't even want to watch because I knew he was REALLLLYY checking it out knowing about the rebuilt title. So, much to my surprise, he had good news and let me know only a few minor problems with the car (front brakes, minor rust problems in certain areas.) Nothing bad enough to not make the purchase. We both agreed tho that an alignment test would be in order to make sure the frame was all good and in within specs. Wheel alignment was within specs, but off by a hair or two on two tires. He brought me over to their computer system attached to the platform for the alignment and explained all the specs to me and reassured me that even tho the specs were barely within range, it would only take a tire alignment plus a little extra for the front end labor but it was understandable after he explained it, and wasn't too much more anyways. I also really liked the fact he was able to pinpoint the spot of the accident that caused it to be totaled initially, despite solid repair work done to bring the car back to life. After all of that they still went the extra yard and made a call to a friend he has in the secretary of states office to make sure the title was clear. His friend was able to patch him over to indiana sec. of state since that's where the current title was from. Once I got the ok on the title i felt soooooo much bettter about buying that car. The icing on the cake is when he told me, "as much as i would like to, i can't find a reason to tell you to not buy this car with a rebuilt title." Needless to say i went back to the dealership and bought the car at a great price and absolutely no hassle. KNB motors was where i found this gem, i have to thank them but more so i have to thank the good people over at AJ's for giving me peace of mind and making my year by going above and beyond to make sure that car was 100% a good safe choice and I would have no trouble with anything. And i havent so far, the car has been driving excellent and the best part is im not stuck wondering what underlying problems this car may have. I plan on going back to Aj's to get those few repairs and for all future repairs. Everything was A+ from the honest crew to pricing to car knowledge to an awesome dog Molly that freely walks around freely and is super friendly. Proof is in the video. Rusted nuts, and no indication of doing any work! They will screw you! Do not go here! I moved from that area.
