My son Easton was fortunate to have Jaime Maldonado (Early Interventionist), and Katia Kunzni (Speech Therapist). I regularly refer to them as the dream team. Jaime blew me away with all his techniques. He was extremely professional, hard working, friendly and relatable. I really felt like they were a perfect match. The progress he made with Easton was immense. I don't know what I would have done without him. I highly recommend him. Katia had my son talking within a few weeks. I was shocked!! I couldn't believe it!! The progress she made with him in such a short amount of time was astounding. She guided me through every step and gave me precious tools to do at home. I highly recommend A is for Apple for ABA. Our BT Princess Taylor is amazing. We have been with them from one year. My daughter was not talking at all before we started ABA. She was just babbling and very hyper. She was not able to sit and play even for one minute. She was running or jumping all the time. After ABA, we saw lot of progress in her talking, singing rhymes, sitting and focusing on activity for nearly three minutes now. Our supervisor Linda is amazing. We were with AIFA through SARC and now through kaiser. My daughter loves their social skills class too. She loves OT also here. Our OT therapist Nicte is also too good. So lucky to have princess as our BT. Supervisor Gabbie and BT Haydee are also good. read more

Such a frustrating experience, in all ways. We are furious for the stolen time from our son. No family should go through this, furious, cheated and heartbroken. We have been with A is for Apple for around 18 months, and out of 18 months our son received more or less consistent ABA services for 6 months only. Rest of the time they would come up with completely irrelevant profiles of BTs, who would come for few sessions and vanish. Every 2 months they would change our BCBA, and those two months we would spend equipping the incoming BCBA with data, and then s/he would hand over to someone else. One BT said "oh, this job is not for me (junior, high school grad, without proper education in the field)", the other one was a complete alien, didn't know even how to approach our child. I had a feeling like they approach people on the street and offer jobs, as if anybody can be a BT. But most of the time we would wait for them to come up with the next candidate. At the end they said either we have to significantly increase weekly hours to make it "financially viable" for them, or discontinue partnership. They were asking to extend days till late evenings (9-10 PM!). At the end we understood that all they cared was money, not our child. We are frustrated, because they took 18 months from our child, when early intervention in autism is so important. No family should go through this with this money machine company, so DEFINITELY a company to stay away from! read more

AVOID!! Their first and foremost concern is $$$. They will bill as many hours as possible and give very little quality therapy to your child. We had gone through 3 therapists in the course of 5 weeks--one left AifA as soon as she could (2 weeks lost due to "repertoire time"), the second had long, sharp nails, and lasted about a week (and, as we found out, stained our carpet and threw trash into our son's crib and toy chest--plus, we got "dinged" as being available for therapy twice....when SHE reported that her car broken down the first day and just didn't bother showing up the second). The last was required for another 2 weeks "repertoire" time--and, although he was a very nice guy, was clearly in over his head. So our son, who requires expert technicians, was given essentially kids straight out of high school. Our previous therapist, from Young Intervention, started to notice that our son appeared to show signs of SPD. Unfortunately, because our son needed too many hours for YI to fulfill, and specific services that YI couldn't meet, we had to go to another company. Sadly, A is for Apple is what SARC chose. After putting AifA "on notice" after the above issues (and a few I won't list here for privacy reasons), I stated that we were looking into other options, but didn't want to subject our son to yet ANOTHER 2 weeks of "dead time", I was willing to give AifA one more chance. And, in this time, when I would be part of the therapy session (my wife is the main caretaker), I would ask how their integration of SPD-specific handling was going, and I'd typically get a blank stare or, "yeah, I should learn more about that (SPD)." The final straw was that the company was giving the technician a hard time when we asked them to meet with our son's physical and occupational therapists (people he had been seeing for almost his entire life)--later classifying the visit as a "recreational outing". That's right, folks--his AifA therapist was told to treat seeing his other therapists the same as going to the park. And when my wife told the AifA supervisor that we're leaving, she had the gall to be surprised. Clearly, she didn't take in our initial concerns. She thought I was bluffing. Or, more likely, she just wrote off our concerns and went about business as usual, assuming that we'd just go along to get along. Nope, sorry--not when our child is concerned. The happy ending? We chose CSLOT. And they are AWESOME. CSLOT doesn't have just a passing familiarity with SPD (unlike AifA)--they have dedicated blog entries about it, and their techs and management KNOW A LOT ABOUT IT. And, for once, my wife and I aren't just coming to them with ideas and suggestions about our son's therapy, but (unlike AifA--and, to an extent, even YI, which I would rate 5 stars) they're coming to US with ideas! And while we thought we may have been isolated cases, I just came to find out from my wife (who took our son to the park today), after speaking with two other fathers that also went through AifA, they had just as equally bad experiences (maybe even worse). So, if you want some straight-out-of-high-school kids play with your kids and want the state to pay for it, go with AifA. Don't expect any results. read more

I don't know where to begin. If I could give this place more stars I would. My daughter was referred to A is for Apple from San Andreas Regional Center early start program. When we started I was a concerned mom that had no idea how to help my daughter with her speech delay. We were fortunate enough to be paired with two amazing therapists, Janna (Speech Therapist) and Caitlyn (Early Interventionist). After just 6 months working with these two ladies my daughter has flourished and is making large strides in improving her social and language skills. So very thankful for A is for Apple and would recommend them to anyone and everyone. read more

My son has been going to speech therapy sessions at A for Apple for a few months. We took him in for evaluation with the county and they contracted with this company. Our therapist is David and he's really great with my son, both in keeping him focused on whatever toys/games they're working with and also with encouraging him to use two or more words in a sentence. My husband and I have seen a huge improvement in Aron's speech in terms of new words and putting words together since he started coming here. David has also been extremely flexible and patient with scheduling-I had to change our weekly appointment a few times because of my work schedule. The only downsides to A is for Apple to me are the parking situation (it can be very crowded and hectic trying to find a spot) and the set up of the building. There are countless glass doors you have to open and shut and also a big staircase with another door at the top. Between appointments when everyone heads in and out at the same time and there are a bunch of toddlers and parents trying to navigate stairs and doors, it's a bit of a nightmare. But the receptionist is very nice and all of the staff we've encountered is very patient with everyone as they try to navigate their way through the offices and waiting areas. read more

My son has been attending AIFA for about 8 months and we absolutely loved all his therapists(Claire, Jillian and Mahta). I am giving this company a 1 star and zero if I could because the company only cares about making money and not their patients. Now, I understand why all their therapists have resigned. The therapists are great, the company is AWFUL.  I'm not sure where to even begin.  We have been at A is for Apple for about 6 months with my son receiving both speech and occupational therapy.  During that time my son has had 3 different occupational therapists and 3 different speech therapists, (6 therapists total) due to extreme turnover.  This has been very disruptive for my son and has ultimately robbed him of months of effective therapy sessions in the process of transitioning.   The company switched from 1hr OT sessions to 30min OT sessions recently and after a long series of emails back and forth, it became very clear that their sole motivation in doing this was to collect two session fees instead of one.  Even our son's therapist was recommending him to continue forward with 1 hour sessions but the company didn't care what was in our son's best interest, they cared what would make them the most money.   A is for Apple has proved time and time again that they care about money more than their clients and based on the INSANE turnover, more than their employees.  If there weren't a huge waiting list at all our other options, we'd have jumped ship by now.  Save yourselves the headache and find another option before you fall into their trap. read more

The place is located in a good neighborhood. The facility itself is clean and updated. I'm giving minus 1 star because of one speech therapist working with my son. During the whole session she was mainly sitting in one spot and was not following my sons activities. She gave him a lot of musical toys so he "freezes" playing the same melodies without paying attention to anything else for 5-10 minutes. We got a really nice ot here, but the therapist left. We were recommended from San Andreas Regional Center Early Start program and had Mahta as our Speech Therapist and she was awesome !! Initially, we had our son, Avery, introduced with in-home help, then transitioned to the actual A is for Apple site. We were there once a week, for over a year. This was our first time with Speech therapy and it was actually a lot different than I thought it would be. Each session was interactive as far as fun and "word play" goes, which we thought was pretty cool. A huge definite improvement that I've seen from beginning to end was that Avery was less frustrated just overall. Before he would get frustrated when wanting something and couldn't get it right away, but over time he become more patient and worked through and verbalized what he asked for. I wouldn't say his entire speech is 100% yet (which I know will just take more time), but his behavior and communication have drastically improved. I understand that all kids are different and grow up in different environments, but coming to A is For Apple has definitely given our family a better direction moving forward with Avery. I would definitely recommend anybody A is for Apple read more

I did not see much improvement through the home visits with the Early Intervention, but when he started A is for Apple with Mahta, the change was incredible. He loves Mahta so much and gets so excited to see her. I am still in shock with the progress that he made with her. read more

This company is terrible!! Please DON'T use this company. The company only cares about money. Our child has used their ABA, speech and OT for about 1 year. The therapists are great, but you need to choose the right one, not every therapist clicks with your child. Anyway, everything was going ok, but all the sudden on one Friday, the owner sent us an email and said they need to cut out our ABA service IMMEDIATELY because our insurance company requires the company to have a BCBA to take over our case, and she said she had no resources to support this. Ok, fine, what a BS, so we asked her to give us some time to find another ABA service provider because discontinuing ABA service will have a big impact for an autistic child, but she refused to do it. Lately, we spent a good six months to find another ABA service company, but our child showed regression during the period, and it was very frustrated. All I want to say is there is so many businesses you can make good money from, but if you are trying to "Helping Children Thrive" (This is what they say their mission is), please bring your heart to run this company. **** Update in July I was laughing after I saw the comment from the owner. Many years ago, I have read a scholarly journal online. They mentioned if ones lie to themselves 100 times, they would think the lie is truth. However, the bottom line is that the lie has to be consistent. Our assigned BCBA DID NOT leave the company during that time, and we were not given a choice to be put on wait list (but we were not going to stay in a company believe in Mammonism anyway). I have other parents contacted me and experienced the exact same situation. Ones can argue that this maybe just an coincidence. Well, sure, we are living in 21th century that people's mind are no longer unopen, and ones can judge how truth this story this. Lastly, I am hoping again you run the company with heart. Being an special need child parents is not easy, and the special needs children are innocent. They don't choose to be the vulnerable group in this society, but for those who live healthily in this world can make the choice on whether or not they bully on the minorities. I take my son here for speech and OT. The speech therapist Jillian Tanner is great. She has been helping my son for almost a year and a half now and he is almost all caught up thanks to her. My son had a speech delay and he's made tremendous progress. What I like about Jillian is that she also not only has her speech therapy techniques, but she understands child development. For example, periodically my three year old will be uncooperative and want to have his way. As a parent, I can appreciate it when Jillian does not give in and enable him to dictate his therapy session. There's a balance that the therapists have with my son. They are firm yet also make it fun for the kids to keep them engaged. The occupational therapist is Natalie Park who I also recommend. Natalie has made such great strides and incorporates practical ideas to use at home that she is confident my son will be caught up with his OT needs and no longer need private therapy in the near future. Ryan at the front desk is very friendly and has been helpful in getting me requests addressed immediately. Thanks Ryan! Don't be intimidated by the $150 hourly rates, if you push hard for it like I did through my insurance appeals process, you can get it covered. Having an HMO insurance benefited me significantly because I only have to pay $15 per visit (co-pay). read more

Our son was assigned to this company via the San Andreas Regional Center, early start program . He has been receiving speech , OT and ABA therapy for over 8 months . In my opinion there has been little improvement , especially in his speech . It appears that the techs are all very young and new to this field and don't have previous experience working with special needs children. They don't have actual BCBA's working 1:1 every day with your child , its technicians who have gone through a training class or course I believe. I have had 4 techs that either didn't work out or who started working with my child and then quit or they were promoted . Two of them were unacceptable and I asked them to be replaced. This company has a terrible strike policy only allowing you 1 absence per month ( toddlers are sick more than that) and if I cancel I must do a make up session but they don't have to make up their absences. They even send me a letter in the mail that I had 6 strikes and my therapy would be cancelled. That was a mistake I only had 1 strike and they had to send me an apology letter!! I did ask to be switched to another company but my social worker would not assist me with that request . Think twice about taking your child here. If the Regional Center assigns you to this company ask what other options you have . There are allot of other companies who provide similar therapy. You need to check what qualifications and expertise these therapists have . In response to the owners comments . My ABA therapist who came to my home every day was NOT a BCBA. Yes they may very well employ BCBA's but they rarely come to your home and are not the ones working with your child everyday . I don't believe my regular ABA tech had previous experience working with special. Needs or a BA degree. read more

My child was with company for a year. Most ABA Technicians not trained well. Depending on Supervisor, you may or may not get adequate help for your child. The company keeps making it more complicated for parents to switch technicians if there is an issue. They change policies often. It would be nice to get a 30 day notice before any policy changes take effect ( as they require 30 day notice from parents for requests to schedule changes). Also, it should be a PRINTED AND SIGNED document for the cancellation policy changes to show that parents agree to this (currently, whenever an issue arises in the company, an email is sent highlighting the changes and they suddenly become the new rules without any signed agreement). I've had a technician that arrived late constantly. I let the supervisors know numerous times and nothing was ever done. I ended up going to the CEO and that still didn't help for long. I ended up contacting the main company that vendors out to A is for Apple saying I wanted to leave the company, then they suggested a new supervisor. New supervisor was better, just ended up having an issue with a technician. Asked to switch technician as this person was not interacting with my child much, and they said there was a waitlist, then a month later, I tell them again.. then they tell me there's 30 days to make a switch in techs. This was even after I already waited a month, and they wanted me to wait another month. Company seems more concerned with profit than providing decent services to our children. read more

They absolute worst ! Strongly would not recommend without a parent available for a session as pricey as an hour session is in my home after looking at surveillance and asking a lot of questions it was a lot of money wasted they were very unprofessional having people drop off lunch for them in front of my home to taking personal phone calls and arguing outside of my home and having my child take toys out of bucket and then have him put them back inside and continue that for 45 minutes. Upper management took no accountability even after I fired the two from my home they never phoned me when they were sending in a substitute. They don't even deserve one star. read more

We had Katia as our speech therapist for my 2 and half years old son, once a week. Unfortunately, we had to quit after about 6 months because of our insurance changed, but we had a great time with her. Katia used a play-based approach which significantly helped on building a relationship with my son. For example, my son learnt how to say "Open (door/book)", "Pop (bubble)" and " I want ~" all from playing with Katia during the first several sessions. Because the session involved some fun activities, my son was motivated to participate most of the time. Katia was very patient and loving. She certainly helped increasing my son's communication skills. read more

I am involved with A is for Apple because of my now 2 year old daughter Bella. She was 19 months when we started and could not communicate with us. She wouldn't point, push speak or make a sound to let us know what she wanted or needed. It was very frustrating for both Bella and I. Not knowing what your child wants or needs while they're screaming is a bit stressful. A is for Apple sent us an early interventionist, Erika. Bella quickly warmed up to her, and within a couple weeks was signing and starting to make sounds. One day she mimicked Erika signing and saying "more" it was the very first time I had heard her voice...speaking voice. Not a sound and baby coo...her actual voice. It took everything in me to fight back the tears. She slowly learned more and more words and songs. Bella went from knowing zero words to 10-15 by the time she turned 2yrs old, which was amazing compared to what we started with. Soon after that, we began speech therapy with Kelsey, in combination with intervention and she has very quickly progressed. She can now communicate with two words at a time. She points, pushes, pulls and can start sounding out words to let me know what she needs. There are way less tears (from us both) and less tantrums of frustration. A is for Apple has helped us as a family learn what we need to do, so we can help Bella learn and apply what she is learning at home as well as during sessions. I can't thank A is for Apple enough. Both Kelsey and Erika have been absolutely amazing and so informative and helpful. I am deeply grateful for all their work, time and effort. Words can not fully express my gratitude. After attempting to set up speech therapy for 3 months, we gave up. A is for Apple has terrible communication and their registration process is long and frustrating. In November, I waited almost an hour while the front desk person scanned and emailed all the registration papers. A couple months later, I received a letter stating they needed additional documents. Similar to other reviews, my son's therapist recommended he receives 1 hour sessions rather than several 30 min. sessions per week. The company refused due to their contract with private insurances. I wrote this review around August 2014 but didn't realize I never actually submitted it. Things might have changed in the last year. As with all speech therapy, it's the therapist that makes the experience worth while. Our son was receiving speech therapy from a specific therapist and when she left the previous company she was with for the flexibility offered by A is for Apple, we followed her. Unfortunately our therapist became disenchanted working for private companies all together and moved on to work somewhere else and alas we weren't able to follow. It turned out unfortunately that one of the benefits our sons therapist found she enjoyed at A is for Apple in the end turned out to be a hindrance for us once she left. That hindrance was the fact that each therapist manages his/her own schedule. We have limited flexibility in our schedule so we had a standing 4pm Thursday appointment which we lost when our therapist left. A is for Apple was unable to accommodate us and had nothing available in the late afternoon. I called to find out what could be done and they were able to find one therapist that would have an opening when we were available but not for a month. Unfortunately I didn't notice the part of the email where we were supposed to email them back to confirm. Any way, long story short, they never followed up with us either and gave the time slot away. We only found this out the day before our expected appointment so by this time it was too late. A is for Apple should have had some common sense to confirm. After all we had enough phone calls with them it wouldn't have made much sense for us to just not respond if we were supposed to. Our son had been out of speech therapy now for a month and the process of getting a new authorization from Kaiser was going to take a while again, so we unfortunately had to decide that it wasn't worth going back. Our son had a lot of difficulty the last time we had to change therapists and now with the added time we've had to wait we didn't want to put him through more anguish. I'm giving A is for Apple 2 stars, not for their therapists, but for the business side of things. Communication from them abruptly stopped and ultimately resulted in us losing any hope of getting our son back in therapy here. Also, they don't have very much flexibility. I admit that I didn't respond back to their email because I didn't catch that detail from their email, but after all the calls I made to them I would have thought they would have followed up to find out why I didn't respond. read more

I have been trying to obtain services for speech therapy for my son with this company for almost one month and, to this day, I have not received an appointment for an evaluation. I have left numerous voice messages to not one but two of their intake coordinators and I haven't gotten ONE call back yet. And from reading previous reviews, it looks like I am not the first one to experience something similar. I basically give up with this facility. HORRIBLE!! read more

okay, so maybe not a perfect 5 star because some of the negative reviews here are valid..but from someone who has had insurance billing background and semi-benefits specialist in HR (my profession, not HR for this organization)...let me explain. My son received services from A is for Apple from 2016-2018 and I never regretted a moment of it. It never dawned on me to write a review sooner. I happen to be searching on yelp for activities for him to do and finding organizations that happen to have people who are good with Autistic kids and A is for Apple showed up with such low ratings and that was heartbreaking! I read the reviews..and I understand..but here is my experience. Extensive amounts of paperwork - That's a negative, yes, but based on his transition to public school, it's normal and miniscule Early Intervention - LOVED his early interventionist, yes....high turnover just like everyone said..he finally got used to his EI and she left. I ACTUALLY saw her walk out crying when we went on a different day to Speech Therapy and as an HR professional that has to "walk people out"...I could picture all sorts of scenarios that she was going through. I did text her and she did say she was ready to move on, but of course I just said that I'd recommend her any day, anywhere. I have a guess on what happened, that of course doesn't make A is for Apple look good..but I rather not make incorrect assumptions, especially on a yelp review. What I do know is, they made the transition to another EI very easy, who was also very good with my son. Towards him turning 3, I found out that EI was quitting as well. From what I know, she's doing just fine now in her career path. So clearly, the turnover is a problem..but they transitioned my son just fine so I have no direct complaints (or similar extent of a problem as everyone else on yelp giving 1 star review) Speech Therapist - I wasn't as fond with her as his EI and I was especially annoyed that I had 1 hour sessions and she would always end 5 or 10 minutes early. But she did come down late once and acknowledge it so allows my son to stay extra that one day, so I'll give her that. I warmed up to her a bit later and so did my son so I can appreciate her persistence. Billing - It took a while between them and San Andreas Regional to confirm all the billing/insurance stuff with my son. It turns out, my insurance was a High Deductible plan so Speech Therapy would've been well over $175 a session had we continued. I get the "statements" of how much he is billed and it is enormous. That is probably why people on this review are furious. That bill, is how much is charged, not how much you pay. I can speak on behalf of ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL medical services (Dr. Dentist...etc) that the biller always HAS to bill an insane amount because the insurance company, or the company paying, will always pay as little as possible. This is a problem with the system..and I've dealt with these frustrations at many other types of services where insurance is involved. At the end, it's really on YOU to be nice to the biller and ask them if there is anything they can do given your situation. I don't recall having any issues with the timeframe before our insurance had to kick in. After it kicked in then yeah...we couldn't afford speech anymore but still got a lot out of EI. They helped my son transition his assistance to Speech at our local school district. Again, lots of meetings and paperwork, but I found out that this is standard. I think, if your child needs that extra help, you are already stressed and more changes and paperwork and billing is going to be a bigger headache and that is not pleasant. I got a 2nd and 3rd opinion from other people who specialize in this field and it sounds like this process, cost, and turnover is completely normal. I mean, let's be honest, this is HARD work and I DOUBT anyone is paying ANY of these workers enough. I'm just thankful that they gave my son options and guided him to the path. It's been 2+ years and he's still struggling in lots of social areas, but I am glad A is for Apple guided him to his development path to where he is today. read more

The speech and occupational therapists are great but the ABA technicians are dicey. We had a good one, Heather, who left. They then sent a guy by the name of Habtamu who didn't know even some of the core behaviors of autistic children among other things. This review is for Katia. Katia has been working with my two-year old son on Wednesday mornings for several months now, and his speech has increased significantly because of it. She is so genuinely kind, attentive, loving, and patient. She took the time to get to know my son (and our family), and in the process, has built a close, trusting relationship with him. Even when he presents challenges during our session, she is always so patient and is able to redirect and get him to focus again. If all SLP's are like Katia, many lives will certainly be changed. read more

My almost 3 year old son has been a client for 9 months, and we have been nothing but pleased with the services provided by A is for Apple. We attended through the recommendation of SARC, and were set up with ABA, speech, and OT within a few weeks of our initial meeting. The ABA therapists who visited our home on a daily basis were professional and genuinely enthusiastic about helping our son with his behavioral needs. They answered our questions and always made sure he was having fun while learning. Their supervisors were also great with communication and follow-up. We visited the A is for Apple site for speech and OT once per week. The facility was clean and well-organized, and the staff was super friendly. It is readily apparent that all of the therapists we worked with enjoy their work and care about the children they are helping. My son has aged out of therapy services, so we are very sad to be leaving A is for Apple. We will be eternally grateful for the services we received. Our son has grown so much in the last 9 months, thanks to the help of his therapists. His troublesome behaviors have nearly vanished and his speech and balance have dramatically improved! He will really miss all of his therapists, as they have become more than just his teachers, they have become his friends ;`) read more

A is for Apple is awesome! I have been taking my son Gabriel for a year and a half here for speech therapy on a weekly basis. Everybody on staff is so welcoming and cheerful. Chrystala and Eva have been amazing speech therapists. They have worked really hard with my son and he looks forward to coming each week because they make it fun. I love this place! Katia and Richard, you guys are the best!!!! My son's speech improved drastically since Katia and Richard started working with him. We started the speech session with Kyle speaking less than 50 words. Kyle's vocabulary increased, he can sing, identify objects, makes animal sounds and even ask for what he wants! I love the services that they provide. They very professional. We love our therapist and the team that my son is in. They really care about my son and i have seen improvement. They have a great social skills center where they get to socialize with other children. They do pretend play, circle time (story time), they do puzzles and many other activities with them. The CEO Marilyn can be directly contact if you have a problem. She is very prompt with her responses. This shows that she cares about you as a parent and wants to make sure you happy with their services. I would definitely recommend A is for Apple. I just signed my son for speech as well. I had been receiving Early Intervention Therapy with my 2.5 year old for about 3 months or so. We had a great therapist ( he had to miss a session or 2 for illness but no talk of make up sessions ever happened) but unfortunately he had to move on from the company. We were given the name of a therapist that was to take over for the leaving therapist which was fine. This is were the issue began. I received an email from the replacement therapist saying he was available that same day at 12:30 but our current therapists last session was scheduled for that day so I responded back that we still had our last session with our current therapist and that my availability is tues @ 5:30 as that is what my current schedule was with the current therapist and I had changed my work schedule to be able to attend the 5:30 sessions as it was. Well my current therapist ended up missing the last session due to illness. so I had expected AIFA to reach out and try to schedule again after I responded back the the replacement therapist email. well they didn't... I finally reached out to my SARC worker and explained the issue.... well I found out NOT from AIFA but from my worker that the replacement therapist that was suppose to take my sons case is actually not assigned to us anymore and that they were looking for someone else to take over. Here is my issue... they could of called me and let me know... they could of reached out and checked in to make sure we didn't feel forgotten... they could of made any contact in any form to let us know that they have not forgotten about my child and did take his development serious and actually cared but they didn't. it wasn't until I reached out to my worker and expressed to her that I wanted to move to a new company that they reached out to me... so I had to reach out to my worker for them to even follow up with me..... so I will not be continuing services with them.... I understand that things happen ppl leave and they have to find ppl to cover and replace but its not to much to reach out to parents and caretakers to let them know that they are working on it. My son is autistic and im afraid this loss in time is setting him back. I just don't understand. This company says they care for kids and all that but don't actually reach out when their staffing issues create havoc to the kids they are suppose to be helping... my advice ask for a different company to work with. read more

We had very poor services for my child here. There is very high turnover and as a result you do not have a consistent therapist working with your child. There are numerous excuses that are made for last minute schedule changes and cancellations and the caliber of staff working there is very varied. Inexperienced staff working with challenging children with minimal supervision is bound to cause problems. I would suggest asking to meet with the assigned therapist before agreeing to anything and to insist on being notified ahead of time for changes in staff or reassignments. read more
