This review is for Glenn Nishihara and his boss. Glenn was the seller's agent for the home I…read morepurchased last year. He was totally unprofessional and cocky. He went on a Vegas vacation while we were in escrow and didn't answer my realtor's phone calls or emails. He missed a bunch of deadlines and never communicated with the seller. In fact, we even walked in on the seller watching TV because he failed to inform her of a home inspection. The only reason the sale went through was because my realtor kept pushing and pushing, doing twice as much work as needed. The seller was often confused about what to do, so she would ask my realtor. My realtor would try to help her out, but it was difficult for her to do so while avoiding any risk of conflict of interest. In fact, when Glenn returned from vacation, he began yelling at my realtor and accusing her of unethical behavior. He even threatened her, and told her he would report her. My realtor was perplexed and upset. When she tried contacting Glenn's boss to help resolve the issue, Glenn's boss just blew her off and essentially told her to figure it out herself. The realtor's deal they made regarding roof repairs fell through. He didn't uphold his end of the deal which cost me $5,000. During closing, we made a side deal for the home alarm system that was already pre-paid. There was confusion regarding transfer of the alarm system title and the alarm company chose to terminate the pre-paid contract, reimbursing the seller. I requested to be reimbursed, in turn. However, as expected, Glenn ignored my realtor's phone calls and emails. I hope no one else has to ever deal with this unprofessional realtor. Coldwell Banker is dumb if they keep him on payroll. He is probably costing them more money than he brings in. The douchebag still owes me $96.

Our interactions with Select Floors, specifically the owner (Marek) and his son were GREAT! I will…read moredetail the experience: INITIAL CONTACT: We were looking to replace the carpet in our home with vinyl laminate flooring. We contacted 4 flooring installers for quotes. Marek was responsive to initial calls and quickly scheduled an appointment. He came to my home for the estimate, his knowledge about flooring and detailed conversation about the topic set him apart. He examined the carpet and thought he could feel uneven concrete, so he told me about it and possible remedies so I wasn't suprised once the carpet was removed. He provided an estimate promptly. He was straight forward and came across as honest and dependable. We had lower cost estimates from others, but went with Select Floors because of the interaction with Marek, we felt the job would be done right. He also gave me insights and where to purchase good quality flooring and specials companies were having. SCHEDULING: Marek was up front and detailed on how long the flooring would take. He told me what he had on the books already and gave me options for scheduling the work. We picked dates immediately and we were booked. Very smooth. He also picked up all the materials for me for a nominal fee. WORK DAYS: Marek arrived each day exactly on time or early with his son. His son is a hardworking, polite, nice, knowledgeable man. They make a great team. They removed the carpet; repaired/removed uneven leveling from the concrete and then leveled the floor; installed underlayment; and cut and installed the vinyl, T-molding and quarter round. Both Marek and his son did an OUTSTANDING job, they were efficient, professional, and did great work. They communicated with me along the way and answered questions. There were no surprises, Marek discussed price upfront and the pros/cons of each decision on the floor. The final job, which was suppose to take 5-6 days finished in 4 days because they worked hard every day 8-10 hrs/day and didn't even leave for lunch. Solid professionals! OUTCOME: Absolutely love the floors, the workmanship, and overall experience. I've done varying degrees of remodels in the past and this was one of the best experiences with a contractor. I would highly recommend Select Floors!
