It is my great honor to write this review. I was sent Lucy's name and information from a very close friend who has worked with Lucy for some time. I was a bit skeptical as I am on the East Coast and Lucy (A Higher Perspective) is on the West Coast. I understand the value and over the last two years the need to connect and Zoom has been a great tool. But, understanding what Lucy's practice was I wondered how could this work so far away and through Zoom. I am so happy to say it was a wonderful success and a deeply emotional and spiritual experience. Thank you, Lucy. Anne E coaching@morgansteward.com Connecticut read more

I reached out to Lucy to seek help for my child. As a mother, you are willing to do what it takes to help your kid. After exploring multiple approaches, I finally found Lucy and her services. She was extremely responsive and accommodating to have us visit her new office in Walnut Creek for an appointment. My child has struggled with sleeping and after the tools Lucy gave us, I am seeing immediate improvement. My child is sleeping soundly and so much quicker than before. This has done wonders! Sleep is so important for children and I am ever so grateful for Lucy's services. Thank you! read more

From the very first session, I felt welcomed and at ease with Lucy. Her warmth, empathy, and professionalism created a safe space for me to open up and discuss my thoughts and feelings. Working with Lucy has had an invaluable impact on me during a challenging period in my life. She is an active listener who provides insightful feedback and through asking me thought-provoking questions and hypnosis, she has helped me gain a deeper understanding of myself and ends each session with actions to help me to continue to move forward and to quickly overcome overwhelming feelings when they arise. I simply cannot recommend Lucy enough to anyone who needs a therapist. I'm so grateful I found her! read more

Oh Lucy! Where do I begin? - well, I guess I just answered my own question - Right from the Beginning! Lucy was the first call I made by accident (not an accident) when my life was at the rockiest point it's ever been. When I asked God for help, the first person sent to me was Lucy... she really paved the way to the person I am today - which I'd like to think of as grateful, loving, and "whole". At the time, I was searching for a marriage therapist on yelp and Lucy popped up as a "hypnotherapist" and I thought - hmm, what's that? Sounds relaxing... I could use some meditation or something like that... I was in for a treat.... I was given a true gift straight from Heaven who truly started my path to enlightenment. I highly, HIGHLY recommend her healing help to anyone just simply trying to figure it out, seek answers from within, knowing yourself and loving yourself. My intention was to look for a marriage therapist and boy, did I get one - she guided the way to my Real Marriage, which I'd like to call the Alchemy of Happiness Thank you, Lucy. May you always be blessed, protected, and elevated. read more

In September of 2021 I looked around on Yelp for a licensed hypnotherapist. Lucy Grace's listing looked interesting to me, so I reached out to her via email. She responded quickly, indicating that she wasn't accepting new clients at that time. So I went back to Yelp. I interviewed several therapists over the phone and had an hour long Zoom chat with one person to see if he would be a good fit for me. What I learned from all of the chats was that it wasn't easy to find a therapist that seemed right for me. In May of 2022 I reached out to Lucy again, to see if she was accepting new clients. I was delighted to learn that she was. I had been experiencing performance anxiety for almost two years. Golfers call what I had "the yips." This can affect any part of your game, but in my case it affected my putting. When playing in any sort of competition, even the most friendly, I felt paralyzed standing over the ball on the green, virtually unable to move. The fact that my husband and I are in the golf business made this doubly painful. Golf was a big part of our life and I felt like I couldn't just walk away from it. Lucy was confident she could help. In fact, she thought she might be able to help in just one session. I wasn't so sure, so bought a series of 5 sessions, just to make sure I would have the problem well and truly solved. Lucy's forecast wasn't far off. My putting was back on track after two sessions, and by the third session we were exploring other issues, which seemed like a huge added bonus to me. Lucy has lots of tools in her tool box. She introduced me to The Emotional Freedom Technique, and also made me several relaxation tapes, which I typically listened to while going to sleep. The tapes started out by helping me relax from head to toe, and then went on to talk about putting. I was always fast asleep by the time it got to the putting, but I certainly took in the information on some level. Hypnosis was also helpful. Lucy was wonderful to work with. She was patient, kind, accepting and competent. I highly recommend her. read more

I've suffered from a variety of psychiatric issues since my early teens: anxiety/panic attacks, excess weight, substance abuse/addiction, etc. Despite all this, and with the help of various psychiatric medicines, I'm blessed with a loving family and a fairly successful career. However, when I recently decided to ween myself off of some prescription pain medication, I found many of the ugly symptoms from earlier in life returning. I'm at a stage in my life where I really want to rediscover who I AM (the happy, pre-anxiety kid from long ago), rather than using more medication to numb the pain, and, from what I read about Lucy, I felt she might be able to help me with this. First off, I have my own brand of spiritualism but am also a natural born skeptic and generally anti-New Agey type stuff. However, after talking with Lucy, there are two concepts that she spoke about that really resonated with me: (1) There is a Higher Power which is there to guide us to our highest good (2) In order for permanent change to occur, you must essentially "rewire the flow of energy in the brain" Lucy uses a number of techniques designed around these concepts. As an IT Professional, (at the risk of over-trivializing!) I would liken these techniques to certain computer maintenance utilities: Hard Drive Defrag, Registry Defrag, Temp File Purge, Disk Repair. This may seem like an odd comparison but I truly feel like my "emotional systems" are now functioning on all cylinders. I also feel more in touch with that elusive "life force" that has been largely hidden from me for most of my life as a result of it being buried deeply within and unable to express itself. If you identify with any of this, I would strongly recommend you connect with Lucy! read more

The cosmos has a funny way of leading you to a door and I feel that way after having walked through Lucy's door. I was led there by something greater than myself. After an initial session that was more about my own story-telling, in a later session, Lucy guided me through a spiritual experience that was paradigm-shifting. I have just left a job after many years that was a family and a calling, so I have been doing more soul-searching lately. Through readings, podcasts and now the affirmation from my spiritual guides (brought to my attention through Lucy's work), I have been again reminded of some universal truths: We all have sparks of divinity within us Human connection begins with developing our own sense of worthiness What we seek is already within us, we just need to acknowledge it These are easy platitudes to either dismiss, or intellectually wrestle with, but much harder to practise. Lucy can help you tap into yourself in a way that will give you that 'one thing,' that Jack Palance was talking about in the movie "City Slickers." Knowing that 'One Thing' is priceless and worth a call to Lucy! read more

It's hard to sum up in words the experience I have had with Lucy so far. I contacted her regarding an issue I was having, and walked away with a higher connection to what I call "God" and spirit. I didn't even know what to expect when I saw her for the first time, and was nervous because I had never seen a "hypnotherapist" before. But Lucy is so much more than that. She truly helped me connect with my higher self in ways that I can;t really explain other than to say that my sessions with her have been life changing. She is honest, warm, loving, caring and trusting. Thank you so much for opening my eyes, heart and mind Lucy. I can't wait for our next session! read more

Lucy's promise of 100% cure for fear of flying sounded too good to be true but we had a big family vacation on the line so we gave it a try. Our teenage son had previously had to walk off of airplanes due to anxiety and we wanted to help him conquer this fear. With a recorded session on his phone and EFT notes in hand, he was able to fly from SFO to Florida for our big family cruise and we were all so proud! It was the best Christmas gift I got this year. He also retreated to his room one evening on the cruise ship to do some EFT because the boat got rocky and his anxiety spiked. He is the first person to tell you the EFT solved that problem. Many thanks to Lucy for sharing her tools for success with us! read more

Lucy is a joy to work with. You can feel her positive energy just being in the same room with her. I felt like she truly listened to my concerns. Just within a short conversation I felt as though I had known her for a long time. I was at my wits end with my young (5 yrs) son's rocky transition to Kindergarten. He had been through a lot and was having a tough time adjusting - so much so that he was being sent to the principal's office every day for the first two weeks of school! I met with Lucy and decided to give this a try, especially since the school was basically telling me that he has ADHD and needs to be medicated. His behavior started shifting for the better almost immediately after the first session and after the second, even more so. He loves listening to his "Lucy story" every night before bed! read more

I first met with Lucy in a group seminar for couples dealing with infertility. After leaving the seminar I felt lighter. Within the following two weeks I became pregnant, after three years of trying. Unfortunately I was unable to carry the baby to full term but I know she had everything to do with my getting pregnant. She allowed me to see my future and that pregnancy was a possibility. It is now two years later and I have decided to see her privately. With only two sessions I again feel lighter, like I am carrying around a lot less baggage. Due to her guided mediation and hypnotherapy I now have a mental place to retreat to when things are becoming stressful. ******It is much more beneficial than any traditional therapy session I have attended.***** She also teaches breathing techniques to calm the body and mind. As the last yelper stated, she does make it a very safe place for you to speak freely no matter what your beliefs are. read more

Lucy truly has a gift! I started seeing her a month ago to deal with anxiety issues and body dysmorphia. Her warmth is a natural calming agent, and she connects with her clients on a deeply spiritual level. I was astonished at how Lucy Yaldezian was able to help me through her interactive hypnosis technique. She has a gift. The insight I gained from my own subconscious mind with Lucy's help was well worth the price paid. I also still use her simple and easy "emotional freedom technique" on a regular basis. It can be very helpful. If you decide to work with Lucy, just know it's a safe environment. Lucy is amazing and I am forever grateful that the Universe allowed our paths to cross. In the past, I've struggled to find a therapist who can give me actual tools to work through my stress and anxiety. During my sessions with Lucy, I can talk about what's on the forefront of my mind and then she leads me through guided exercises to target the core issues causing my stress and anxiety. I leave each session feeling calm and relaxed. With the recent turn of events (COVID), we have switched our sessions to online via FaceTime/Zoom. I am so relieved and grateful that my sessions with Lucy are just as effective online, as they were in person. Lucy's guidance translates seamlessly in a virtual context. My husband and I will be moving to another state soon and now I have one less worry about trying to find a new therapist who I connect with. I plan on continuing my virtual sessions with Lucy for the unforeseeable future, as she has been an absolute godsend for me! read more

I am so grateful to have found Lucy. I was looking for a "spiritual councelor" as opposed to a traditional therapist. I didn't want to talk about my past for years hoping for a "breakthrough". I felt more relaxed and realized I just had a better attitude in general. After another 3 or 4 sessions I had a wonderful breakthrough in my career, getting things in order and finding solutions after years of frustration. I came to see Lucy by a referral. She is definitely very sweet and compassionate and truly tries in every way she knows how to help. However, when it comes to a deeper understanding of the psyche, she lacked the education needed to help me. Instead of mentioning this to me at the beginning, she simply thought she could help by her limited viewpoints. To be in the position that she charges at $125.00 a visit is a lot, more than an educated and professional MFT. As I have had more than 40 years of therapy behind my belt, I closely listened. She is, in my opinion, more into if I liked her and asked me if I felt she was doing her job satisfactorily, than keeping her own self-needed approvals at bay and addressing her client's true needs. I just felt she needs so much approval and to me, that is not very professional and crosses a line. At one time, she called me and wanted to ask for some clarity for herself. We must have talked 20 minutes. She was really wanting again, approval, rather than tending to my questions. As she did not even know the meaning of certain medical terminology, I was certainly surprised. At the end of this conversation, I said, "Would you like to be paid for your phone time ?" She then replied, "Oh, how nice of you to offer that." I asked, "How much do you want?" She then replied, "$50.00." Now remember this was for her needed clarification and approval for 20 minutes of her time and mine. I then said to her, "I am not paying you because I am nice, I am paying you because I have integrity as this is a professional relationship." Well, I mentioned to her that I will definitely pay her for her much-needed clarification, however, I said to her if you want to call me for more clarification, I will charge you for my time. I did pay her through my online bill pay from my bank and she did cash the check. This woman, I am sorry to say is about "money" and does not have the proper credentials to practice on people with just the few hypnotherapy letters after her name. Sorry. read more
