Since…read moremoving to the desert, it has been incredibly challenging to find someone responsive, reliable, and competent. Bryce is all of that and much more. He was on time every day and brought a great attitude, a fabulous work ethic, and a keen eye for detail. My home looks fantastic with new baseboards, door hardware, old wall speakers and pet door removed, etc. The baseboards were not straightforward at all (embedded in the Saltillo tile), but he persevered and did it beautifully. In the process, he noticed evidence of an ongoing leak in a wall that I had been unaware of and took care of it! Needless to say, if that had gone unchecked, I would be dealing with a huge issue down the road. If you are looking for a quality handyman you can trust unequivocally, look no further! Also, his wife, Jeanine, was such a pleasure to work with!

He is and will be my most recommended YELP review for 2014 and 2015! I bought one of those fixer-upers type of house and now I realize what I got into! I have had Mike and his great assistant Teddy to my house 4 times upon my new move to the desert. He has done everything from paint rooms/ re-paint rooms, remove debris, re-paint MORE rooms, fix doors, put up ceiling fans, re-put up more ceiling fans and fix electrical outlets.. (the list goes on and on..) THIS GUYS DOES IT ALL. ((and with a smile)) When I have guests over they always love the different type of ceiling fans I had put up.. I had him install 9 ( YES, NINE) ceiling fans!!!!!! YUP, This house is that large and my ceilings are 12' feet! Talk about an obstacle course! He was very "matter of fact" and you didn't feel like he was pulling your leg or getting you to spend more money which most of the handymen in the valley are known for. Best part about why you should hire mike: He was extremely confident, professional and ON TIME. He had a spread sheet emailed to me with in 12 hours and gives a free estimate. I am not kidding you when I tell you he can do it all. From hanging a picture to a custom remodel, this is your guy. I love that he sent a spread sheet and estimate on the break down of pricing and you know exactly what you are spending, how much time it will take etc.. everything you were getting into. IT WAS SUCH A RELIEF TO SEE AN ITEMIZED LIST!! I found Eric here on yelp and he absolutely exceeded my expectations. I recently moved into the old…read morehistoric Ocotillo Lodge that was built in the late 1950s. My most major concern was the very small standard closet that you would find in hotel rooms. it would be my primary closet for my clothing along with other items. I was moving from a walk-in closet that I had had for 20 years.and was concerned that I wouldn't be able to use this closet effectively. There were also very old lighting fixtures that needed to be taken down and new ones hung. At the end of the project that was done in a timely fashion he was able to give me a closet that was able to fit all of my clothing minus some extra large coats. He also hung really beautiful closet doors with frosted glass that added a very sophisticated touch to it. i'm still not exactly sure how I got all of it in there but I'm sure it had to do with some genius organizers that he built into the closet along with extra pole space. Amazing! The lighting fixtures were also done perfectly and overall, I am very pleased with his work. The one thing that you can count on when you buy a old vintage place like this is that all of the work that needs to be done will probably run into difficulties because of the outdated nature of many things as well as increased cost in time. he handled these roadblock quite effectively and professionally without breaking my bank for sure. i will absolutely use eric again.

The first problem is we needed to cancel plans to make sure we were at the house waiting for him, only for him to let us know after he was already late that he wasn't coming. Secondly, he was very rude, " You know... if I don't get this job I'm charging you still." I had no problem with our interactions before, it seems he just got lazy and didn't want to follow through with the job. The problem is he didn't care that he made 4 or 5 people wait for him and cancel plans for him to not even show. I even texted him hours beforehand to make sure he was still coming. UGH! sooooo unprofessional.
