UPDATE: I am assuming you got a second opinion on your original response to my review, b/c your response below is wildly different from what I read yesterday. For the record, in your original comms, you claimed that I had "too much time on my hands" orchestrating a "smear campaign" against you, and you've also traded your sarcastic line of "have a nice life" for a very touching "wish you guys the best". I guess insulting customers isn't good for business. By the way, it's only a smear campaign, if the claims are false, which mine are not. In fact, you continue to lie and twist the narrative of what transpired a few months ago.
1) For one, you don't care about my partner, so please keep your fake apology.
2) I don't believe that you will better your training, in fact you'll probably try to discredit my reviews.
3) You did not warn us not to touch anything.
4) In regards to the refund: I was the one to request it, not my husband, and it was through Viator. I know for a fact that you know this because you responded to my review on there very defensively and referred to me by my name. I requested a refund for the tanks we didn't use because my husband was unwell after touching the corral. In my review on Viator, I mention that we should've at least been COMPED (Google it) for the pictures we overpaid for, since they cost you nothing to produce, and we had a negative time on your excursion.
5) The cancellation policy is irrelevant at this point because how are we supposed to cancel the dive when we are literally on the boat.. ? A good business person would have the common sense to try to smooth things over with adequate customer service as soon as the service goes awry - something that I think you've learned by now.
6) I didn't do the 2nd dive because I did not want to leave my husband alone on the boat, NOT b/c I was sea sick - and you know this because I TOLD YOU. You and your partner asked me if I wanted to go back down with the group and I said no because I wanted to stay with my husband on board. At that time, I was completely fine to dive, but again, I wanted to make sure my husband was okay given that you did not even offer him any vinegar or First Aid for the painful rash. I got sea sick AFTER you all came back from the 2nd dive, which you also know because when you came back up on the boat after the 2nd dive, you personally asked me if I was sea sick.
7) Looks like you got my review taken down from Trip Advisor. Interesting.
I neglected to take a screenshot of your original response to my review which was a lot more combative, to say the least, than your updated one, but attached are some screenshots that show how you updated your original response to my review a few times to appear more agreeable and friendly.
I don't care about any refund. The reason I've been so vocal about this whole situation is b/c the training was inadequate which resulted in someone I care about getting hurt, you and your staff have been unprofessional in your responses to my complaints, and you've done nothing except buckle down on your commitment to lying about the whole thing. I'm done with this back and forth. You can say whatever you want. My reviews are up on Viator and Yelp, and that's where they'll be for people to read. Thanks. read more
