I didn't want or need a rush job done. I only want to pay $2100. Not $2900. I was willing to pay a few hundred more for additional supplies. Adding more workers was never discussed. I don't think that it's fair or right to throw this fee at me because you added another worker.

We even had them do a few extra fixes to long-standing problems other contractors either created or never fixed properly like a bathroom vent, etc. We've worked with lots of contractors for small jobs to entire "gut rehabs" and more important than price (though they are very competitive), Matt and his team are honest, attentive, and committed to ensuring your job is done properly and with integrity - not common among the contractors we've worked with over the years. One guy would be there for three days and then someone new would show up and have no clue what the last guy did. At one point, I had to tell the project manager that I did not want anyone in my home until I met with him. The lack of craftsmanship, and integrity was upsetting to say the least. Who puts kitchen cabinets in before painting??? Once the job was complete, it took Vaz Construction another month to come back and finish the things that were not completed. Overall the experience was very disappointing, even more-so with the amount of money they charged us for their sub par work.
