We hired AGS because our neighbor was using them and we needed someone to fix our rotted trim and paint it, as well as remove paint from the shingles. While they responded fairly quickly, they didn't listen to our original needs and we had to go back and forth on the estimate. The first thing they did was show up, after dark, with a power-washer to remove the paint from our shingles - after we'd told them we had tried that and it didn't work. They wound up destroying our shingles and we had to call to get them to stop. While they did replace them, they attempted to overcharge us everywhere else to make up money for their mistake. I do want to make sure to point out the workers are really great - though the owner talks horribly about them behind their back, which is a huge red flag to me. I had to call repeatedly to get them to show up and actually do the work they'd said they would do - though the owner shows up sporadically, never knocks, and just walks around your property, which is super uncomfortable. This is not a company we would ever hire again or recommend to anyone, and it's all entirely due to the awful owner.
