Let's just say I was due for a haircut. Was greeted by E, Anthony, and Adrian. Adrian cut my hair. The place is small but super cool! Got hooks on the wall to hang your coat, action figures from cartoons to pro athletes on the wall, and my cut came out ! Keep up the great work Adrian and crew. Will definitely be coming back. read more

Been coming to this place for years now since moving to Orange County 15 years ago. The one thing that has never changed is the attention to detail the love for the craft and the respect that this barbershop gives to their customers. Over the years, Eric and the other barbers have learned things about me and got to know me on a personal level while providing outstanding value for the cuts they provide and at their price. I frequently have people complementing my haircut and asking where I get it at and I proudly say my barber Eric at a Fullerton barbershop hooked me up! These barbers are respectful, friendly, and great at their job. And the barbershop is clean and decorated nicely with entertainment playing on their TVs constantly. I would highly recommend this location. read more

Great location for a classic fade cut! The ambiance is friendly and efficient, with military memorabilia on the walls. Call first for an appointment. A wonderful family business! read more

I've been coming here for 20 years and I've watched some of these barbers grow up. =) It's a family run business with a family atmosphere. They greet you by name with a smile as you come in the door, and they always give you a great haircut. Although they do take walk-ups, ever since covid they've been taking reservations so if you don't want to wait too long you should make an appointment as they are always busy. read more

Awful service! Rude and arrogant! Do not go here. The barbers are a**holes. The fat, old, bald barber chopped off my son's hair and when told about it proceeded to deny that he cut more than asked. And of course, all the other barbers had to chime in. And refused to give us our money back and said they can only offer to fix. Offer to fix what???! There's hardly any hair left. Totally BS!! read more

Eric recently made a special effort to get me in on a very busy Saturday day because I was going on a business trip the next day. My sons and I have been getting quality haircuts from A Fullerton Barber Shop for close to 20 years! Thank you from Chris, Chip and Paul! read more

Good vibes from start to finish! I had the best experience from Fullerton Barber Shop, so I consider this place a great find. The phone call to make an appointment was nice due to the young lady being friendly and helpful. When I showed up the next day, everyone greeted me as soon as I stepped through the door. Let me tell you, not all barber shops do this simple thing. First impressions and feeling welcomed makes a huge difference in overall experience. That was an excellent start. I ended up with Carlo, who is the best barber, is laid back and easy to talk to. He seemed to be good in communicating so I felt he understood what type of cut I wanted. In the end I was extremely happy with my haircut. Carlo was meticulous and he followed what I was looking for. It turned out perfect. I'm definitely coming back here for future haircuts. read more

I came home and realized that the hair cut was all fucked up. Nice man the owner but not happy with the work, owner said I didn't explain to him, I ask for a simple med fade. He put a V shape in the back of my head didn't do the med fade at all, the way he cut it, he put like two different haircuts in my head. fuck am I supposed to go to work looking like this he charge me 20 bucks for fucking up my hair. It's like I had told him That I knew how to cut hair but I didn't have the Patient to do it. So for this mess I should've gone to pay a 5 dollars more and may be running late to work but I would've had a clean med fade. I came home and fix my hair and went to work and everyone was like nice hair cut read more

I usually leave ratings for restaurant's but I've been going to the Fullerton Barber Shop for years and have been extremely happy that I've chosen this as my place for haircuts. Robert, Eric & the Anthony's all give great haircuts. The shop is close to my home, they are always nice and have good conversations when I get in the chair. The prices are reasonable and I like how they make me look better after I get out of the chair which is a feat itself. I also like the fact that they celebrate the military since I lost a brother in Vietnam and my Dad was in three wars, WWII, Korea and Vietnam. I would recommend this barber shop if you are looking for a place to get a haircut. read more

Don't go here. Completely rude and arrogant workers. Waste of your time. On top of being rude the guy with the shaved head gave me an awful haircut. 0/10 awful read more

Well they just lost a customer. Came here once and had no issues, I was just a walk in. Today I came in at 4:30pm (they close at 5pm). I simply asked if anyone was available for a haircut, the young gentlemen looms at me and kind of looks like there is a possibility, he turns to one of the barbers (2 or 3 seats down from the front) and this barber yells out "naw I'm done at 430". He wasn't cutting anyone's hair but no worries, then the young gentleman says something a long of the lines that we can't take you. I mean geeez, simply just say your dully booked or something. This whole exchange put a bad taste in my mouth. Well good thing they did this, found a haircut place more than half the price without all the nonsense read more

My husband has been getting his haircut here for decades. He won't trust any other place. This is a classic men's barbershop and has a strong following. These guys are great at cutting hair. 2 years ago, my grandpa's barber in Whittier passed away. He needed a new shop, and this place has taken him in with open arms. My grandpa and husband both look forward to their twice a month barber trips. Highly recommend. read more

I'll start off by saying whoever answered the phone was very welcoming and the shop was clean and looked to be well taken care of. Unfortunately, I also care about the quality of the haircut I received. I asked for a basic haircut, a mid-taper, some off the top, and a line-up. My barber proceeds to give an uneven, not faded, and poor "taper." Then we get to the line-up where it is not just uneven but it is also pushed back. I will not be going back to this shop, and will not be recommending it to anyone as I believe I could offer a better haircut than the one I received. read more

I've been coming to this place for a year or so now and it's easily the best barber experience I've ever had from $5 dollar cuts to "hip" spots this is hands down my favorite. It's easy to look over because it's lack of flash and subtle naming but this shop has a heart all its own with war memorabilia and small murals on the walls. It's really a no-nonsense classic barber shop, offering great cuts at an honest price. I think a regular gentlemans cut runs about 17 bucks, i have them clean my beard too for all the bells and whistles i pay about $26 and gladly! Personally my go to guys are Erick and Bob. But i think you'll find who works for you there. read more

I am visiting Fullerton from Philadelphia. I desperately needed a good haircut as I had been putting it off way too long while we have been traveling around in our RV. I found this place after doing searches for local places with good reviews and I wasn't disappointed in the least. This is a very friendly shop with many chairs and barbers waiting. Call ahead for an appointment if you can but they also take walk-ins. Great price too. I told them they don't charge enough. I left a good tip. If you are looking for a barber shop, not a salon, then this is the place. Good cut, good conversation, a pleasure to experience. I'll be back again when I'm in Fullerton. read more

I appreciated getting an appointment within 15 minutes of me calling on the phone, but I absolutely did not get what I asked for. I asked for a trim, but enough to keep the man-bun I had. Instead, he seemed to have just done what he thought looked good and ended our session with "well you needed it". I don't usually even review barber shops, but I paid $20 to lose what took me months to grow out. Thanks I guess. read more

OMG THIS PLACE!! We made an impromptu visit to this barbershop while in town from Washington to have my almost 2 year old's hair cut for the first time. Every single gentlemen in this place was SO NICE and welcoming. We were nervous but felt so comfortable the entire time. I went to this place for a year or two. The last time I went there, the guy cutting my hair, who I hadn't met before, started up a conversation about politics. I think this was before Charlottesville, so the language of white nationalism wasn't really on my radar yet. As we were having this superficially cordial political discussion, my brain was still processing what he was saying, which with hindsight was clearly a kind of slick, polished presentation of white supremacist ideas using words that superficially sounded innocuous. Only as I was driving home did I fully process the experience and realize what I'd experienced. To be fair, this was only the one guy, and nobody else who'd cut my hair there had seemed at all like this. read more

My husband gets his hair cut here often. He is very picky and continues to go even during quarantine. I went in one morning, because my regular barber was on vacation. I was tended by an older gentleman, said he was the owner. Very nice guy, excellent conversation. I really wouldn't mind being friends with him. Inviting him over for a bbq. I can't say enough how nice he was. I asked the gent for a mid-fade. He gave me a low fade instead, very low. Completely uneven and not even close to being aligned. My cut was wobbly looking and oblong. I hope my friend reads this next line: "If you can't do the job right, politely decline to do the work and ask a fellow barber for help". I would not have taken offense. It pains me to write this review because again he was a great dude but the fade was way off! Maybe fades aren't his forte, I don't know. Good luck to the barber and his business but won't be coming back. read more

These guys always do a great job. Any of the barbers you get a cut from always are on point. Recommend this place
