My go to barber for all of my boys including my father especially when we use to reside in Fullerton. This Barber Shop has been around for over decades. Still the go to barber for them even though we moved. The original barber Thu is the best. Takes a good amount of time on your haircut. It's $ 15 if you're including a fade. Uy Barber takes awhile. 40 mins but he's just trying to perfect the cut for both of my sons and also a really nice guy. Located next to a massage parlor plaza right next to Rite Aid. Limited parking. read more

Worst haircut ever now I have to go and get it fixed now have to pay twice the guy up front has no idea what he is doing I can still see the line from my fade read more

Mr. Andy is very friendly, very thorough, never rushed. I've been going there for years.

The two men who cut care do not understand the meaning of "I want it full. Just clean up the length and leave it long enough to comb" I went there 3 times and each time got the same cut. Way too short. Right away began cutting and would not stop. Never going back read more

Nice barber shop if you have 45-60 minutes to waste. My guy was incredibly slow. It took him 20 minutes to shave my sides. After cutting my hair on top, he would pause for 10-15 seconds to see if there was any loose hair. He did this about 10 times! I have very short hair, almost a flat top! I got fed up, rip off my apron and informed him that I was done. This was about 50 minutes into the haircut. What the heck!! My other guy was cutting my son's hair and it took him about 15 minutes longer! We felt like they enjoyed torturing you. My regular barber in Orange takes about 10 minutes to complete the entire job. The place is also old and kinda smells funny. read more

(Mi) I think is how u spell her name? does phenomenal haircuts for men. She knows her stuff and gives a great fade! I recommend coming here to see her but make sure u call for an appointment, she's appt based. Like most all places, the difference is no long waiting or crowded. It's chill and she's fairly quick 30-40mins max. So you're in and out. Nothing over the top of fancy. Don't forget to TIP good, she deserves it. read more

If you're like me busy with work life kids the gym You don't want to wait hours for a haircut or even there's an available spot for you, for a good price this the place. read more

I would consistently hit this spot for a haircut for the low cost, $12, sacrificing quality for simple haircut that is hard to mess up. Over the past year the price has slowly increased to $18 and quality has declined even more. The cleanliness has gotten worse also and barbers will hardly ever clean their tools/work area. Definitely will not go back. read more

This place deserves 10 stars! Friendly staff, great service, and can't complain on the price! read more

Wasted my time. The asian lady knew I was waiting for a hair cut but instead of helping me she chose to do her laundry in the back. When she noticed I was irritated she told me wait for the one barber cutting hair that had just started on someone. That's when I walked out and took my business somehwere else. I guess my money was not important to het. read more

My is amazing, been going to her for over 10 years now. Always knows what kind of haircut you're asking for. Her professionalism is spoken for by the long list of loyal customers. read more

You can't beat a $7 hair cut. They are very precise and careful, I asked for a 2 on the side and a 5 on top and he took a good 20 minutes to make sure everything was perfect. No nonsense, no awkward small talk. I highly recommend it. read more

My is great with men's haircuts; it's the only place my boyfriend trusts to get his hair cut and really, that says a lot. It is always busy here so come early, its all based on walk in; first come first serve! But no fear, they have many magazines so rest assured you won't run out of things to read! read more

You guys been to Bolsa to get a haircut? My Barber Shop reminds me of those places.. Yeah, it can be cleaner. It can be fancier. It can be a lot of things... But can they cut hair?? Answer is YES. There's 3 barbers here. Two dudes and a lady. I've used all of them. All are very capable. Speak clearly and really explain what you want done. Just don't assume they can understand you.. (THAT GOES FOR ANY BARBER SHOP) Especially the dudes. They all speak english, but it's their second language so be patient and understanding. If you are open to that.. you will be alright. Legit barbers. Place could be nicer.. but not a dump. Sometimes long lines. Overall, a great value. Ask for Don! read more

Worst. Haircut. There is a barber shop just down the street. Not recommended. Doesn't speak any English.

Stumbled upon this place as I was driving home and it was nearby. Just to make sure it was legit, I used my handy dandy yelp out to confirm it. And yes - legit with solid reviews. My (the owner) was very detailed and offered great feedback. The only downside is the wait .... and it was badddd. Literally 1 hour. Sigh.... read more

My first haircut with mai was amazing! She did a great job in cutting my hair... however, it seemed like she was a little passive aggressively upset since I didn't tip her $10. Since it was my first time I thought respectively a 50% tip would be ok. I noticed after my second haircut she was a bit stand offish and every time I would try to make a conversation (ask her how her day was) she would just ignore me lol so I brushed it off. After my 3rd visit I noticed some of her regulars would tip her $10... So I thought I would be the bigger person and just start tipping her $10 hoping the quality of the haircut would be the same... little did I know it back fired. I went out to get a haircut on a Sunday at 1:00pm and I noticed there were 4 people ahead of me. After waiting an 1.5 hr, she comes over to tell me that she has to pick up her son and has to leave. Ok I get it that you have to pick up your son but don't you think it's a bit RUDE to tell someone to leave after waiting 1.5hrs.... so a customer ( a random dad) stood up and said to her, "Hey it's fine. That guy (me) has been quiet and watching movies. I'm not getting a haircut so you can cut him anyways." I thanked the Dad for being so nice and then noticed her muttering Derogatory words in Vietnamese. After cutting 2 people she then goes back and takes a 30 min break.... she makes her daughter go out to see if I was still there..... the random Dad customer looks over at me and quietly says," wtf..." I'm just sitting there so confused.... anyways its disappointing to encounter these types of people... I'm not sure if Mai is monetarily thirsty however, it seems a bit apparent that some people need to work on their soft skills. Being passive aggressive is the most ineffective and inefficient way to resolve your issues. I hope you matriculate into adulthood soon .... read more

No offense to the other barbers at this shop. But I only go to My (Pronounced me). She now only takes appointment which is cool. Before, you would have to wait 3-5 people. Which isn't too bad since she cuts her fairly quickly and does a superb job getting your hair right. My advice...make a weekly appointment...same time every time and DONT GET CUT FROM ANY OTHER BARBER there. But if you have no choice. Go with the bigger fellow. read more

Needed a cut and drove by and saw this place.. Got it cut by a gentlemen place was empty so i figured i will be in n out. Wrong!.. He literally took Atleast 45 mins cutting my hair and i was just looking for a simple fade... I was getting frustrated and told him i think its fine now.. He's like I'm almost done.. All i gotta say is this will be my first and last time here.. Its funny to me now everytime i pass by and say "omg that's the place they took forever eff that place" lol read more

Only person in this place that knows how to cut hair is Mai, everyone els there is pretty much just there to take some of the workload off of Mai. I went to go get my haircut today and the older bald guy that works there straight up just told me that Mai wasn't there today (he knows I only let her cut my hair) and sat down to read a magazine and I've seen him sleeping on the job in previous visits . I couldn't wait so instead of him asking me if I wanted a haircut I asked him if he could give me one and I figured there was no way he could mess up a simple mid taper. Long story short, I should have know I was going to get a messed up haircut when he spent about five minutes on the same area. Then he just started hacking away at my hair. Basically I literally could have cut my own hair better than this guy. It is by far the worst haircut I have ever had, don't spend your money on anyone other than Mai. I would post a picture of this hack job but it's too embarrassing. I'll be wearing a hat for a few weeks read more

Only been here once, but I had a pretty solid cut and the guy did an excellent job on my beard. It's fairly priced so I was very glad I came here. read more

Overall a great place to get a standard haircut! They don't speak much English, so it's not the place to come in for a good conversation. The first time I came here, I don't think the barber understood what I wanted. He cut my hair wrong! But the cool thing was that it came out good. It wasn't quite what I wanted, but damn, it looked good. He gave me happy. read more

My friend recommended this place and said to make sure I get my hair cut by My only. But when I got there, My was not there so I just decided to get my haircut by some other man that was there. RAGRETS. SO MANY RAGRETS. This guy could not speak a lick of English and that was not even the worst part! He would CONSTANTLY burp throughout the haircut ( 15 minutes ) and I was getting kind of ticked off. Haircut was definitely not one of the best I have had. My hair was uneven in many places and especially my sideburns. Service: 2/10 Haircut: 3/10 Overall: 2/10 Only coming back if My is working. read more

Once My cuts your hair you won't let anyone else! She does a great job for a great price. Yeah, you might have to wait a while but it's well worth it. For all those people who are in a hurry to go nowhere, bring a good book. Wish I had found out about her years ago! Rich GG read more

I was heading to my other Barber which was out of my way. So I decided to try this spot. I came in in between 10am - 10:30am and it's now 11:49am. I'm still waiting none of the workers approached me to tell me they have a lot of appointments. No kind of communication. So many random customers just walking in and got haircuts the lady seems to be sneaking people to be next in line. She seems to wanting to cut hair for the only people she knows but I could be wrong. Not saying one word to me while I sit here waiting. She talks more than she cuts. What piss me off there's no kind of communication.. I'm just barely leaving it's now 12:30pm. I was trying to be in and out. But now my schedule is all messed up. As far as recommendation I will not recommend this place if your in a hurry. They seem not to follow their own rules they posted on their window. I'm all for supporting small businesses but this one gave me a bad taste. read more

This place is great! 15 minutes Perfect fade 8 dollars Clean Just can't beat that or find anywhere else. This is my go-to place when I'm down at SoCal. Don't go to anyone else but make sure to ask for my. I got a tip on this place from the waiter working at a Korean restaurant and he had a nice cut too. read more

So I was next in line and the Asian lady skipped me to accommodate somebody that arrived after me. It must be the vietnamese connection. They spent the next 20-30 minutes speaking to each other in vietnamese and showing each other pictures on their phones while 4 other customers were waiting. Mind you that she was not cutting his hair the entire time. At the very least she could of explained why she had skipped me. But then again, she can barely speak or comprehend English. I would recommend this place but I would avoid her. She is overrated, expects big tips, and lacks basic communication skills. The other barbers there are much better and courteous. read more

Don't ever, ever, EVER ask for my. I don't want to have to wait for my awesome hair cuts. Thank you for your cooperation.

Got my hair cut by My today and she did an awesome, awesome job. She really takes her time to perfectly detail your hairstyle, and I left without a single stray hair! Best haircuts I've ever gotten are done by My, and I tip her well because the price is so low for the quality cuts she gives. I'd personally still avoid the two guys however.. read more

This barber shop is poppin! Affordable and clean. Haircuts from tapers to fades, line ups, the whole nine. The owners name is My, hence the name My Barber Shop haha. Shes been taking care of me for almost a decade now. She memorizes your head shape even if you came just once. She gives clean haircuts that fit your head shape. For sure a 5 star! Sometimes it gets really busy since so many people know about this spot. I usually call and ask for the wait time prior to coming in. Try out this barber shop, you'll never have a bad hair day! read more

Been meaning to write a review for one of my favorite places: I've been coming to my and her family for over 4 yrs know, and every time she does a very good job cutting me and my son's hair, plus my wife has her hair done by the lady that sits in the back(I wish I knew her name) but unfortunately I don't....sorry lady in the back!:-) Anyways, to sum it up we all leave "My Barber Shop" looking and feeling like a million bucks!!!
