Even years ago when it was running it made a hollow noise while ticking. Leroy got it up and working. It took six weeks but it is perfect now. It was pricey to repair but you kind of expect that with older watches that have more intricate parts. He even replaced the leather band and matched the buckle. His shop is a little hidden in the plaza so it's easy to accidentally drive by, but he is worth the visit if you have an older watches that needs fixing.

We vacation in South Carolina in December and since we don't have a local Hamilton Dealer my son waited until our December visit. When we walked into the store, I was worried that he wouldn't be taken seriously, as he was a teenager and kind of knew what he wanted, but wasn't quite sure. Andrew was who waited on him was awesome with my son. He allowed him to try on different watches. We even went to lunch and came back so that my son made sure that he was buying a watch that he really wanted. Fast forward to this December, he graduates from high school in May and wanted a watch as his gift. My son emailed Andrew and asked when he'd be working while we were in the area and set up a day that we'd come in. I gave Andrew the price range I wanted to work within and he showed my son everything in his price range and helped him find the watch he chose, which wasn't a watch he thought he'd like before we went to the store and tried things on. I can honestly say that we were treated as well as a customer buying his second or third Rolex, each visit. Andrew is my now who my son will buy his future watches from. He wouldn't go anywhere else, because of how well he was treated. Thank you Andrew. Your kindness, honesty and knowledge is what draws my son to you.

I even bought my husband's wedding band for our 10th anniversary from Barry's. When I went to pick it up after being sized, I had my wedding band cleaned. Instead of giving it back to me, the lady put it in a small envelop. I found that odd. I took it out and a diamond was missing. I showed her so she asked me to give her about an hour and she would have it replaced. When I returned, the diamond was replaced. It did not last a week! I am very disappointed. I do not trust this establishment anymore.

Brought watch in for service/ repair. When I went to pick it up there was an etched circle on the…read moreback. I was told it was probably from the watch opening device used by them. One of the employees buffed out what she could - but it's still visible. I know it's on the back, but Loy Harn Jewelers is supposed to be top tier for these types of repairs- at least I was told. It's certainly no ones fault except whoever removed the case back which I assume was the jeweler. In addition, it is a dive watch - they don't have a machine to pressure test it. Had I have known, I'd have taken it elsewhere. They did take half off my cost, but id rather have it in the condition it was when I brought it in. Won't be going back.
