I came across this one here on Yelp, and I am SO happy that I did. The dentists here referred me to Dr. Pasternak, their oral surgeon. I hate having my teeth messed with and I'm already anxious just going to the dentist for cleanings. Needless to say, I was so nervous about the procedure and possible complications, but she did an amazing job of explaining everything to me and making me feel safe. Some of my wisdom teeth were impacted, so the procedure required more work and was done under anesthesia (by my request, I wanted to be out of it). Everything went exceedingly well, I had no pain during recovery, and the incisions/holes healed with ZERO complications. Two years later I still think back on the experience and how grateful I am to Dr. Suzanne Pasternak for the skill and care she provided. I figured I should write a review since I still feel so strongly. The office staff were amazing too and were very helpful during all of my pre-procedure visits. I highly recommend this place for everything dental-related. I would make it my regular dentist's office if I didn't live so far!

He was actually replacing the old amalgam one for a composite filling. OK, sounds simple enough. I go in and sat in that chair for over an hour while he worked on other clients. He came in to numb me. And As he carried the needle to my mouth, anesthesia literally spilled from the syringe onto my arm! He didn't acknowledge it until I said something. He had a hygienist named Devy that was a total dunce! He kept having to tell her to redo things. To fill a syringe, or sit out a certain material or tool. And while I sat there numb and vulnerable, a receptionist comes to the room to tell him that a patient is on the phone in pain and that their crown fell off! He was calm and nonchalant about it. Unfortunately for me, it was a foreshadowing of things to come. After going home and the anesthesia wearing off, my mouth was in EXCRUCIATING pain! I tried cleaning it frequently w/ salt water and taking pain meds. But it wasn't improving. I returned a week later and Dr. Kolderman advised me that I had an infection and he gave me some mouth wash. At the end of the visit, I requested a copy of my panoramic x-rays. The hygienist and receptionist said that they would look into it and call me back b/c they aren't sure what the process is to release them. No surprise, I never heard back. And when I called back, I got the run around. After 3 days of the mouthwash, still no improvement. So I called for antibiotics. He prescribed a 7 day round and improvement was minor. I have recently gone to a new dentist and he recommended that I get my tooth pulled or a root canal b/c of the infection! He said that Dr. Kolderman probably hit a nerve since I was not having pain prior to the filling. The new dentist referred me to an oral surgeon b/c it's a wisdom tooth and very rooted. I will have to be put under. Great! This experience could have been avoided if Dr, Kolderman would have just slowed down and took his time as he worked. Instead he was rushing and flustered. I think it's time for him to retire.

HOLISTIC…read more Unbelievable! I have been all over the Internet trying to find a local dentist who has expertise in doing a ceramic implant. Most dentists use titanium in your gums and them top it with a ceramic crown. Instead, I wanted all ceramic. I didn't want any more metal in my mouth. Dr. Jung is prepared to do this for me. I'm ecstatic that we made an appointment to get my work started. In addition to being knowledgeable, Dr. Jung has a very kind and caring demeanor. I think he is Ann Arbor's best-kept secret. Eun-Young was difficult for me to understand while over the phone. That was probably my 'old' ears. In the office, she was delightful and very helpful. Eun-Young is obviously very knowledgeable regarding dentistry and an asset to the office. I'll be back to do another review after the work is completed, but for now, I am very pleased with the consultation. If you are looking for a holistic dentist consider Dr. Jung.
