I wish I took some before photos because my car seats were A MESS and full of coffee stains, chipotle stains (yes I've spilled an entire bowl of chipotle on the seats), and crumbs that were in impossible places to clean up. I looked up some detailing places on yelp and Groupon to see what would work for me, but the whole logistics especially during a pandemic of taking my car to a detailing location and then ubering back to my place so I could continue working during the day is quite the hassle. LET ME TELL YOU, I message for a quote through yelp for cleaning my 2015 Honda Civic, they respond quickly (even after hours) and provide me a quote ($130 for interior shampoo). I set up an appointment time next day for 10am. They came early at 9:30 which worked out for me, and then did their magic. They were done by 11am! I also had a bunch of stuff in my car and they were nice enough to consolidate for me in a bag and move it and took care to let me know where everything was (telling me they put my earrings into a tiny bag so they don't get lost, etc). I cannot stress how amazing & how happy I was with the interior shampoo! I paid $140 in total for basically a deep clean of the inside. I messaged Jose on Yelp and received a response right away. I was able to have him come to my house the next day to clean my car! I loved how smooth the process was to get my car cleaned. They brought their own supplies and didn't even need a water hook up from the home for the interior. My car had STAINS, really bad stains all throughout. I spilled coffee, oily food, soda, etc. I thought my seats were going to be like that forever and now I wish I called sooner! They got rid of most of the stains. The oil stain didn't come off because it was there for years but for the most part, it was gone. They were ahead of schedule so came 1.5 hours earlier (which I preferred anyways) & was done in about 2 hours. They provided a car air freshener and told me to leave my windows cracked open to dry overnight. I HIGHLY recommend Jose & his team! My car was pretty filthy because I had gone on a road trip, had my windshield broken to a point where any pressure would cave it in. Due to this I had caked on bugs & even sap that sat on my car for a month. Juan & Walter did a GREAT job at removing any of that evidence. I'm a meticulous person, with that being said I contacted Auto Detail Xplicit to give my "new to me car" a new car feeling. I got various quotes and I went with the highest quote which was Auto Detail Xplicit because I didn't want to end up with, "you get what you pay for." I got told they would be doing a X3 Mini Detail a 3hr job as stated on their website. Two men started on my car at 12:32pm and rang my doorbell at 2:43pm because they had finished the job which was 2 hours 11 min later not 3hrs as stated on website. My husband and I inspect the car and right off the bat we see things that were missed like wax on the bumper, speakers still dirty, doors that were obviously not degreased nor door pockets, steering wheel still dirty, and more little details. By this point I'm irked because this was obviously not "top of the line services" as they claim. They quickly "addressed" the issues, nonetheless there were still dirty spots left, but I was over it. I got charged $325 LOL and they were out my drive way at 3:05pm when the job was supposed to be over at 3:32pm. If you pay close attention to details these guys are probably not it, lesson learned. read more
