Almost always has good friendly service, depending on the employee you deal with. Most are great, even the tired ones who have been there forever. Conrad's has long outgrown its present building considering the amount of business it conducts. The building is long overdue for some refurbishing due to its age and heavy traffic. The selection of groceries is limited, but still adequate for a low end town like Marion. Aisles are long and narrow. Shelves are always well kept and stocked. Deli is small but has great food. Meat dept. is small but offers the best meats in Marion. Customer service area is extremely cramped. The store still retains its small town grocery model, even though, as I understand, the owners are not active in its day to day operations. An expansion or remodel would be a vast improvement for this small town grocery.

There are always customers on Sunday after church as at dinner time during the weekdays. They have several prepared salads in the counter which they sell by the pound. There are also some desert items, all of which a re carry out. There was no seating the last time we were there about 4 weeks ago. Prices are reasonable and the food we purchased was good.

A very beautiful store in Western Kentucky. My in-laws brought us here, as they've visited before…read more Great variety of outdoor patio furniture -- particularly Adirondack style items. Nice outdoor plants, too (even Hibiscus plants!) and a nice selection of wind chimes. All top-quality. Inside the store they sell Melissa & Doug toys for the kids and a offer a large variety home decor/gift items items. Great selection of bulk foods, spices, snacks. I bought a bag of spinach pasta. The baked goods looked delicious, but I actually passed on them because of all the other snack foods we were purchasing. Do check out the breads, cinnamon rolls and cookies. They sell a small amount of produce and still had some seedless watermelons available for only $2.99. They had a small selection of cheese curds and do have refrigerated items. They had a nice vitamin section and even a little clearance area. Everyone in my group ordered something from the deli--mostly sandwiches, that were divine, but I opted for the blueberry-banana smoothie. Yum! You can purchase sliced meats and cheeses from the deli counter, but they also have an extensive menu. On our way out I noticed the soft-serve ice cream machine and a coffee grinding station (I think that's what it was). We spent about $45 on everything we bought (spinach pasta, peanut butter filled pretzels x 3!, dried apple rings, milk chocolate covered blueberries, ranch seasoned snack mix, honey mustard pretzel bites, peanut butter granola. Apparently we prefer peanut butter and pretzels--also. we were shopping while hungry. Store is immaculately clean and the staff were very friendly. Prices are more than fair. We were here right around Noon and the place was picking up in time for lunch. We ate outside in their outdoor seating area. Face masks are not required here, but about half of the customers were wearing them. I appreciated that. Highly recommend!

There is a deli where you can get lunchmeat to go or order a sandwich and sit at one of their cute tables located inside the store. This is a must stop if you are in Fredonia shopping.
